However, this unicque mode of clothes has been much influnced by the Chinese culture and also by the climate of Korean penynsula. The changes of the pattern of JUGORI, in a word, is a sign of shortening tendency of size. This tendency of JUGORI is remarkably seen in the shortening of length and other parts are decreased in size. The JUGORI in the ancient age was fallen below the weist of woman, which is similar to Robe, and was worn with band. However, the length of the JUGORI has been gradually shortened, and therefore, GORUM took place of the band. The shortening tendency of JUGORI is seemed to be shown its sign in the initial time of its origin, because there are some evidences that the women in Sylla Dynasty, and this tendency has been much expedited during the period of Koryu Dynasty with influences of Monggorian culture (Won Lynasty of China) The oldest sample for data of JUGORI in nowaday is one the remains of Yi Dynasty, and this sample for data provides all the particulars of the modern pattern of JUGORI. The tendency of JUGORI had been continued even in Yi Dynasty, and at the end of the Dynasty, the clothes was shortened that the women felt inconvenient wearing it in the status of the shortened JUGORI which was even hardly cover the initial time of epoch of modernization induced from the Western civilization, and after 1920s and 1930s JUGORI become a larger tendency. This is a sing of revival of practical use and rationalization of JUGORI become a shortening tendency again, and the size is similar with that of early age of Yi Dynasty. Instead of these similarities, the particulars of modern JUGORI is weighing on much emphasis on curve beauty and expression of experior beauty. The reason is that, together with westernization of clothes, JUGORI became a special pattern of clothes as a traditional Korean women wears. The very thing explaining this pattern of JUGORI is the "ARIRANG DRESS". And there are some fashion using button instead of GORUM and half sleeve JUGORI for summer use which is regarded as a part of improved aspect of life in Korea. in Korea.
This study develops size sections and specifications for females 7-18 years old. The specifications will contribute to the development of precise virtual models that represent basic data for the size alteration of 3D virtual models. A total of 33 items from the $5^{th}$ Size Korea data set were adopted and analyzed. Two representative factors (Obesity and Height Factors) were identified through a factor analysis of the 33 items. Waist circumference and stature were selected as representative variables for Obesity and Height Factors, respectively, and conducted cross tabulations between waist circumference and height for the age groups of 7-12 and 13-18 year-olds. Size sections were developed for the development of 3D models based on the results. A regression analysis then developed size specifications for each section with independent variables of waist circumference and height as well as dependent variables of reference body size. Subsequently, Obesity Factors were better explained by waist circumference and Height Factors were better explained by stature. Finally, size specifications for each section were developed.

Pantyhose is a close-fitting garment. Consumers are highly sensitive to any progress done in fitting their lower body and increasing comfort. However, pantyhose manufactured in Korea are only one-sized. The purpose of this study is to suggest the size designation of pantyhose, using new human body measurement data which were gained from the Year 2004 SIZE KOREA project. For the purpose of this study, the ISO standards and JIS standards were reviewed and questionnaire was carried out to manufacturers and distribution companies. The results are as follows: First, for a difference with size standards established in 2002, applicable age range was expanded from 15 to 70 year-old women to entirely include persons who wear panty hose. Secondly considering the actual condition that panty hose is producing in single size in most companies due to its elasticity of material, number of size was reduced from five to four. Thirdly basic parts of body which were applied to panty hose are height and hip girth. And size of panty hose is decided by a chart which is composed of height-axis and hip-axis.
According to several pilot tests, petite women have their own body proportion which is not simply an overall diminutive reflection of the proportion of Misses sizes. Apparel manufacturers and pattern companies do not consider racial differences nor do they consider petite women's own specific body proportions in their size categories to produce petite garments. The primary objectives of this study was to describe the petite women's body proportions especially the differences between Asian and Caucasian petite women and to compare their body proportions to the average body figure. A physical body measurement chart was developed and revised through a pretest. Sixty subjects, thirty for each group of Asian and Caucasian. They were landmarked using an anthropometric instrument and photographed using the method of somatography for analysis of body proportions. Data were analyzed by t-test for a description of the petite subject's body proportion. The results of this study indicated that the Caucasian subjects had generally a longer lower torso than tehAian subjects in their body proportions. both subject groups had differnt body proportions from the aerage body figure.

Accordingly the industrial world of the but-tons too established the mess production syhstem by breaking from convention of hand-craft work of 17th century. The raw materials used in the production line on buttons during the 20th century are almost all-kind of materials one can possibly named including cheap plastic which enabled production lines to produce cheaper but higher productivities of the buttons being produced, The design (incused design) used in the 19-20h centuries are : men landscape, sports features, birds, livestocks, bugs, or geomatric features, tec, 1, The classification o f the buttons by materials Techniques shapes colors marking (Incused design) used in the productionof buttons in the England United States of America Laska Italy france Denmark Japan and India are categolizzed as : natural raw materials and syntetical resines. 1) Of the natural raw materials used are : Matal Enamel Iodine Agate, Coral, Green jade(Jasper) Granite, Wood, Ivory, Horn and bone etc. 2) The sythetical resin used in the button in-dustries are : Artificial jewell glass Acrylic material Styroform Celluloid and Nylon etc. 2. The thecnique quoted in producing buttons are hand craft work inlay work precision casting press mosic dye etching, processing, engraving and embossed carving etc. 3. The major designs used in the buttons in -dustries are : Round shape however elliptical column angular and edge shape often used. 4. The colors used are : The multi-colors were highly used than mono-colored materials such as : Adjoining Color and Contrast Color. The highest consideration to be considered in choosing the colors for the buttons are harmonization and matching factor with the garment or dresses to be wore. 5. The major design(incused design) on the buttons are embodiment and the design were also used in order of abstractive-combination abstractive with has offers much surprising. The button industries during the 19th and 20th centuries were not only the determination factors those can judge the value of self-pride of Nation and which were far beyond the in-dustrial arts in those days but also highly refelected and influenced by cultural sense ideology and self-pride of the Nation of those period. The followings are details of the role of the buttons categolized in the order of functional ornamental and symbolical aspects : 1. The functional role : The functional role of the buttons were simply designed for dress how-ever the buttons beyond from this role of function now a days. 2. The ornamental role : The ornamental role of he button beyond from this role of the button were effectuated by : 1) shape materials colors 2) technique locations size and design (incused design) 3) The ramaterials used for buttons shall not be over looked because it is highly depends on the taste sense and combination of harmony with the garment to be wore. 4) The color of the buttons are made well contrasted with the color of garments just as in the case of other artistical area such as matchs with the color of garment of contrast with brigtness of colors contrasted as complementary color and so and so. 5) The technique being adoped are: precision casting press handcraft inlay work etching mosic etc,. Since the buttons are no longer a simple catching devise used to fasten together the different part of the dress but now it has formed own and occupied the independent role in the garment or dresses location can be de-termined and varying depending on the ideas of designers. The size of the buttons has no specific limits, However the variation has widely dependined on the entire circumperence rhythm contrast harmonization of the garments. 3. The symbolical role : Since the button is no longer a just a simple devise for catching and fastening device used fastening together the different part of the garments but now were built a independent area as major part of the Garment and well reflected all kinds of occupations political background cultural as-pect etc. on the buttons. The design of buttons in the western circles are more simplified but they are polished looks and their techniques of manufacturing are comination of both machanis and handcraft. The colors used in the buttons are pretty well harmonized with garment(dress). Almost all kind of materials can be used in the but-tons however materials used in the buttons are : Bone of livestocks ivory, turtle shell are no longer used because the prevention of cruely of animal. On the contraly the level of buttons indus-try of Korea is far to reach and catch up with the level of western circles. It is highly suggested therefore the but-tons industrial field of Republic of Korea shall place and encouragement in producing beter industrial environment of the buttons based on the traditional and cultural aspect of republic of Korea to produce both manufacturing of qulified and best designed and colored buttons.

This study was carried on to investigate the effect of physiological significance of hand and foot on thermoregulation and thermal pleasantness in clothed $\mu$ Oral and skin temperatures after immersing hands and feet in the cold or the warm water at Ta of 25 and $20^{\circ}C$, respectively, were compared with four types of garment worn by two healthy male subjects. Four types of gannent expressed as A, B, C, D, were determined by the exposed areas of extremities : hands only are exposed in A, feet only are exposed in B, both hands and forearms are exposed in C, and both feet and legs are exposed in D. Major findings observed reveals that oral temperatures in D were generally maintained higher than those in A, B, and C. This is probably because the size of exposed areas rather than skin temperatures seem to determine the level of core temperature. Also, obtained result that thermal sensations felt by the subjects in foot are more closely related to local skin temperatures when they are compared to those in hand. From these findings it would be suggested that the significance of hand and foot in temperature regulation appears to be connected more with behavioral than with physiological.
