PID 이득 동조를 위한 퍼지 스케줄링 (Fuzzy Scheduling for the PID Gain Tuning)

  • 본 논문에서는 PID 제어기의 이득 동조를 위한 퍼지 제어기를 제안한다. 제안한 제어기는 PID 제어기의 크리스퍼 출력 오차를 그대로 사용하지 않는 전단 퍼지화기에서 추론단계는 갖지만 Rule Table은 갖지 않는 특징이 있으며, 출력 소속 함수에 두 변수의 관계와 범위를 이용 도식화된 영역에서 비퍼지화 시킨 비선형 출력값을 PID 계수에 부가하는 새로운 Fuzzy PID 제어기를 제안한다. 여기서 Kp, Kd 계수의 최대, 최소 범위를 설정하여 퍼지추론에 의해 새로운 Kp, Kd 계수론 구한다. Ki 계수는 Ziegler-Nichols 동조 규칙을 사용하여 구하였고, 제안한 제어기는 유압서보모터 제어시스템에 의해 실험하였으며 실험결과 양호한 제어특성을 통해 원하는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • 무인항공기의 에일러론 및 플랩, 엘리베이터 등을 제어하기위한 작동기들은 구조적으로 Time variant한 비선형적인 특성을 가지고 있을 뿐 아니라, 비행 중에 풍향 및 풍량에 따라 모델링하기 힘든 외란이 발생할 경우가 많이 발생하기 때문에 우수한 제어성능을 보이는 제어기 설계에 많은 어려움이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 PID 제어기의 장점을 그대로 살리면서 실시간으로 변화하는 시스템에 adaptive하게 대응할 수 있고 Auto gain tuning을 이용하여 개발자의 시간과 노력을 현저히 줄일 수 있는 Fuzzy Auto gain tuning PID 제어 알고리즘을 비행체 Actuator 제어에 적용한 연구내용을 기술하였다.

Stability Analysis and Proposal of a Simple Form of a Fuzzy PID Controller

  • This paper suggests the simple form of a fuzzy PID controller and describes the design principle, tracking performance, stability analysis and changes of parameters of a suggested fuzzy PID controller. A fuzzy PID controller is derived from the design procedure of fuzzy control. It is well known that a fuzzy PID controller has a simple structure of the conventional PID controller but posses its self-tuning control capability and the gains of a fuzzy PID controller become nonlinear functions of the inputs. Nonlinear calculation during fuzzification, defuzzification and the fuzzy inference require more time in computation. To increase the applicability of a fuzzy PID controller to digital computer, a simple form of a fuzzy PID controller is introduced by the backward difference mapping and the analysis of the fuzzy input space. To guarantee the BIBO stability of a suggested fuzzy PID controller, ‘small gain theorem’ which proves the BIBO stability of a fuzzy PI and a fuzzy PD controller is used. After a detailed stability analysis using ‘small gain theorem’, from which a simple and practical method to decide the parameters of a fuzzy PID controller is derived. Through the computer simulations for the linear and nonlinear plants, the performance of a suggested fuzzy PID controller will be assured and the variation of the gains of a fuzzy PID controller will be investigated.

구륜 이동 로봇의 경로 추적을 위한 퍼지-신경망 제어기 설계 (A Design of Fuzzy-Neural Network Controller of Wheeled-Mobile Robot for Path-Tracking)

  • A controller of wheeled mobile robot(WMR) based on Lyapunov theory is designed and a Fuzzy-Neural Network algorithm is applied to this system to adjust controller gain. In conventional controller of WMR that adopts fixed controller gain, controller can not pursuit trajectory perfectly when initial condition of system is changed. Moreover, acquisition of optimal value of controller gain due to variation of initial condition is not easy because it can be get through lots of try and error process. To solve such problem, a Fuzzy-Neural Network algorithm is proposed. The Fuzzy logic adjusts gains to act up to position error and position error rate. And, the Neural Network algorithm optimizes gains according to initial position and initial direction. Computer simulation shows that the proposed Fuzzy-Neural Network controller is effective.

  • This paper presents a scheme for integrating PID control, gain scheduling and emerging techniques in the field of artificial intelligence, such as fuzzy logic and genetic algorithms for the speed control of a marine diesel engine. At first, local PID controllers are designed based on a local model obtained at each speed mode, whose parameters are optimally tuned using a real-coded genetic algorithm. Then, fuzzy "if-then" rules combine the local controllers as a consequence part to implement fuzzy gain scheduling. To demonstrate the performance of the proposed fuzzy PID controller on overall operating conditions, a set of simulation works on B'||'&'||'W's 4L80MC diesel engine are carried out.t.

  • This paper proposes the fuzzy logic-based fast gain scheduling(FFGS) controller for regulation problem in nonlinear systems. It utilizes which reflects the derivative information on the original scheduling variable in order to achieve better performance than the existents. Moreover, we apply the proposed control scheme to control active suspension systems with nonlinear components.

  • This paper deals with speed-sensorless control of an AC servo motor using Fuzzy-Tuning High Gain Observer(FTHGO). Resolver or encoder can be used to measure a rotor speed, but it has a limit to detect motor speed precisely. To solve this problem, it is studied to measure a speed of an AC servo motor without sensor. In this paper, the gain of an observer to estimate motor speed is properly set up and designed using the fuzzy control theory. It calculates the differentiation of the rotor current of the AC motor and estimates the rotor speed using it. Proposed speed sensorless control is performed using the estimated speed as the control variable. Designed FTHGO is applied to AC servo motor to verify the feasibility of the proposed observer. Feasibility of the FTHGO proposed in this paper is proven comparing the experimental results with/without the speed sensor.

  • In this paper, a gain scheduling method of PID controller is proposed using fuzzy logic for balancing control of an inverted pendulum. First, gains of PID controller are calculated using pole-placement technique for the linearized model of an inverted pendulum and these gains are modified by fuzzy logic throughout control operations. A PD controller is used by switching near the set-point to improve the performance. It is illustrated by simulations that the proposed hybrid fuzzy control method yidels smaller rising time and overshoot compared to the fixed-gain PID controller or fuzzy logic-based only PID controller.

  • This paper proposes a fuzzy logic gain scheduling method for depth controller of the AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle). Gains of depth controller are calculated by using multi-loop root locus technique. Fuzzy logic based gain scheduling approach is used to modify multi-loop gains as control condition. It is illustrated by simulations that the proposed fuzzy logic gain scheduling method yields smaller rising time and overshoot compared to the fixed-gain controller. Finally, being implemented on real hardwares, all the proposed algorithms are validated with integrations of hardware and software altogether by HILS.
