동력 절약형 유압유니트 제안 및 제어기 설계 (A Proposal of a Power Saving Hydraulic Unit and Controller Design)

  • In a conventional system, hydraulic unit pumps out pressurized oil when the power use is not even necessary. As a result, it causes much power loss. This study is on the proposal of new hydraulic unit which controls the revolution of the pump in order to produce proper power needed and to have good response characteristic. In addition, the existing control methods such as PID control method, fuzzy control method, and adaptive control method are applied to the proposed hydraulic unit. Then the best control method is selected and the controller is developed to realize minimum power loss.

  • This paper deals with an investigation and evaluation of the performance of a state observer based Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) drive controlled by PI (Proportional Integral), PID (Proportional Integral and Derivative), SMC (sliding mode control), ANN (Artificial neural network) and FLC (Fuzzy logic) speed controllers. A detailed study of the steady state and dynamic performance of estimated speed and angle is given to demonstrate the capability of the controllers.

  • In this paper, we developed an ANFIS controller through ES algorithm for disturbances rejection in Hot Rolling. The looper of a Hot Rolling is installed between each pair of stands and plays key roles to enhance the product quality of the strip by controlling the tension and the width of the strip. At the same time, the AGC on top of the Mill produces a strip with the desired thickness through pressing its Mill. Between both, however, interactions are caused by coupling effects among strip tension, looper angle and strip thickness. In addition, in case disturbances, it is more difficult to keep strip quantities desirable. So we present an ANFIS controller through ES algorithm which is able to identify fuzzy rule with input/output data and update itself through output errors.

  • Magnetic levitation control system of a metal ball was designed using combined PID and fuzzy logic, in which two electromagnets are used to control the vertical and horizontal position of the ball. Single synchronization coil sensor was used to detect the vertical position. Electric power is differentially supplied to two electromagnets so that the ball can move horizontally. In the experiment 25 cm diameter metal ball was levitated and successfully controlled to move horizontally.

  • We present the initial results of on-going research for building a novel Mobile Haptic Interface (MHI) that can provide an unlimited haptic workspace in large immersive virtual environments. When a user explores a large virtual environment, the MHI can sense the position and orientation of the user, place itself to an appropriate configuration, and deliver force feedback, thereby enabling a virtually limitless workspace. Our MHI (PoMHI v0.5) features with omnidirectional mobility, a collision-free motion planning algorithm, and force feedback for general environment models. We also provide experimental results that show the fidelity of our mobile haptic interface.

  • Recently, it was very difficult for hydraulic governor to regulate the speed of high power engine with long stroke at low speed and low load, because of the jiggling phenomena by rough fluctuation of rotating torque and the hunting phenomena by long dead time occurred in fuel combustion process in the engine cylinder. In this paper, the influence of engine dead time is investigated by Nickels chart, and hybrid controller selected advantages of PID and fuzzy logic controller is provided to improve the performance of speed control of a low speed and long stroke diesel engine.

  • 선박이 해상에서 운항시, 선체는 파도에 의해 심하게 동요되기 때문에 승선감과 안전성이 저하된다. 따라서 선박의 안전항해, 쾌적한 승선감, 구조적인 안전 보장을 위한 선체제어를 위한 필요성이 증대되어 왔다. 기존의 PID 제어기법 등은 정상편차가 적어 과도응답의 문제점 및 오차누적의 문제점이 있고, 퍼지제어 기법은 최적화가 어렵다는 단점을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 퍼지추론 기법을 이용한 선체자세 제어기법으로 운동체에 관한 전문가의 지식과 경험을 바탕으로 퍼지집합과 퍼지규칙을 설정하고 설계된 퍼지 추론을 통해 현재의 운동상황을 판단함으로써 효과적인 최적화와 자세계산을 수행할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 퍼지추론을 이용한 자세제어 알고리즘을 제안하고 실시간 시뮬레이션을 통하여 시험한다.

Ship information system: overview and research trends

  • Ship Information Systems (SISs) have been one of the main research focuses in ship design and become a multidisciplinary area. With these growing research trends, it is important to consolidate the latest knowledge and information to keep up with the research needs. In this paper, the SIS and its different forms are introduced and discussed. The beginning of this paper discusses the history and evolution of SIS. The next part of this paper focuses on different fields and research areas such as networking technology, information fusion, information decision, message display, ship control in real-time SISs. A Semi-Physical Simulation Platform (SPSIM) designed for SIS research and its running effect through a new Fuzzy-PID fusion algorithm are introduced in this paper then. A brief literature survey and possible future direction concerning each topic is included.

  • 대부분의 기존 화력발전소는 기동정지가 빈번하지 않고 부하는 정상운전시에 일정하게 운전된다. 그러나, 최근에 원자력발전소 운전과 다양한 형태의 전력소비가 이루어지고 있어 발전소에 대한 효율적인 운전이 요구되어지고 있다. 따라서, 일일기동정지 및 주말기동정지 운전이 이루어지고 있으며, 발전소의 기동, 정지 및 부하변동이 자주 일어나며, 이러한 운전형태는 수처리시스템에 영향을 미치게 된다. P 화력발전소는 일일기동정지 운전개념으로 설계되었으며, 수처리설비중의 하나인 약품주입 제어시스템은 수질을 일정한 설정치로 유지시키지 못하였으며, 현장기술자가 PID 제어기 대신에 F(x) 함수를 갖는 제어시스템으로 설계변경하였으나 시험운전 결과는 만족스런 성능을 나타내지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 제어성능을 개선하기 위한 퍼지약품주입시스템을 제안하고 시뮬레이션으로 타당성을 입증하였다.

Hybrid F-NFC에 의한 저속 디젤 기관의 속도 제어 (Speed Control for Low Speed Diesel Engine by Hybrid F-NFC)

  • In recent, the marine engine of a large size is being realized a lower speed, longer stroke and a small number of cylinders for the energy saving. Consequently the variation of rotational torque became larger than former days because of the longer delay-time in fuel oil injection process and an increased output per cylinder. It was necessary that algorithms have enough robustness to suppress the variation of the delay-time and the parameter perturbation. This paper shows the structure of hybrid F-NFC against the delay-time and the perturbation of engine parameter as modeling uncertainties, and the design of the robust speed controller by hybrid F-NFC for the engine. And, The Parameter values of linear equation are determined by RC-GA for F-NFS. The hybrid F-NFC is combined the F-NFC and PID controller for filling up each.
