  • By proving a summation formula, we enumerate the expansions for the mock theta functions of order 2 in terms of partial mock theta functions of order 2, 3 and 6. We show a relation between Ramanujan's ${\mu}(q)$-function and his sixth order mock theta functions. In addition, we also give the continued fraction representation for ${\mu}(q)$ and 2nd order mock theta functions and $Pad\acute{e}$ approximants.

  • For functions $f(z)=z+a_2z^2+a_3z^3+{\cdots}$ with ${\mid}a_2{\mid}=2b$, $b{\geq}0$, sharp radii of starlikeness of order ${\alpha}(0{\leq}{\alpha}<1)$, convexity of order ${\alpha}(0{\leq}{\alpha}<1)$, parabolic starlikeness and uniform convexity are derived when ${\mid}a_n{\mid}{\leq}M/n^2$ or ${\mid}a_n{\mid}{\leq}Mn^2$ (M>0). Radii constants in other instances are also obtained.

  • Under an open transmission access, the generation dispatch is determined by the bidding process of market participants. Congestion occurs when the dispatch would result in the violation of operational constraints. Congestion problem is formulated and solved by OPF(optimal power flow) calculation. The objective functions in OPF are given as quadratic cost functions or piecewise linear functions of bidding functions. In this study, the optimization technique of generation dispatch is presented for the combination of two types of quadratic and linear cost functions.

  • The purpose of the present paper is to introduce a new subclass of meromorphic multivalent functions defined by using a linear operator associated with the generalized hypergeometric function. Some properties of this class are established here by using the principle of differential subordination and convolution in geometric function theory.

  • Sharp error estimates in approximating the Stieltjes integral with bounded integrands and bounded integrators respectively, are given. Applications for three point quadrature rules of n-time differentiable functions are also provided.

  • In this paper, we introduce and investigate an interesting subclass of meromorphic bi-univalent functions defined on ${\Delta}=\{z{\in}{\mathbb{C}}$ : 1 < |z| < ${\infty}\}$. For functions belonging to this class, estimates on the initial coefficients are obtained. The results presented in this paper would generalize and improve some recent works of several earlier authors.

  • In this paper, we investigate a generalized family of complex-valued harmonic functions that are multivalent, sense-preserving, and are associated with k-uniformly harmonic functions in the unit disk. The results obtained here include a number of known and new results as their special cases.

  • Recently, Liu and Wang generalized Appell's and Lauricella's hypergeometric functions. Motivated by the work of Liu and Wang, the main object of this paper is to present new generalizations of Appell's and Lauricella's hypergeometric functions. Some integral representations, transformation formulae, differential formulae and recurrence relations are obtained for these new generalized Appell's and Lauricella's functions.
