  • We presented the automatic extraction technique of a biological internal organization from full-color continuous images. It was implemented using the localized homogeneousness of color intensity, and also using the continuity between neighboring images. Moreover, we set the "four-level status value" of area condition as a value showing "area possibility. This played important role of preventing a miss-judgement of area definition. These our approach had a beneficial effect on tracking color and shape change of the interest area in continuous extraction. As a resell we succeeded in extraction of mouse's stomach from continuous 50 images.

  • We achieved a highly efficient green OLED with an efficiency of 30cd/A by using a new electron transport material and optimizing the device structure. The luminous efficiency was 16.8lm/W at $3000cd/m^2$ and the lifetime was over 60,000hr at an initial luminance of $1000cd/m^2$. Furthermore, we obtained a threecomponent RGB white OLED by using the highly efficient green material. This RGB white OLED shows more excellent color reproducibility for full color displays with color filters, compared to a twocomponent white OLED.

  • This paper suggests a method of color variation technique to generate stable white light. The light from high brightness RGB LED was mixed according to the RGB LED luminance ratio. A microcontroller-based PWM control circuit and switching circuit is used to achieve full color variation. It is confirmed that the stable white light and full color variation is possible.

  • In order to make full color cholesteric displays, color filter-less R, G, B sub-pixel structured cholesteric LC cells have been studied. To make R, G, B colors, UV induced pitch variant chiral dopant was added to cholesteric LC mixtures. The concentration of the photo-sensitive chiral dopant was adjusted so that the initial state showed blue color and the color was changed from blue to green and red with increase of UV irradiation to the cholesteric cells. To prevent the mixing of R, G, B reflective sub-pixel liquid crystals, separation walls were formed using negative photo resister in boundary area between sub-pixels. Through the optimization of the material concentrations and UV irradiation condition, vivid R, G, B colors were achieved.

  • The power efficiency of a full-color OLED display decreases with long-term operation because of the material characteristics. The lifetime of the OLED display also decreases as the power efficiency declines. Therefore, this work provides a novel color difference algorithm to improve the power consumption and extend the OLED lifetime.

  • As Damyang has preserved both beautiful natural environment and tradition very well, it needs colors which can coexist with Damyang while preserving it as it is rather than colorful and refined colors. However, the present Damyang deteriorates the quality of beautiful natural scenes by chaotic uses of colors. Therefore, colors which can represent symbolism based on the present colors of Damyang should be used so that everyone can be pleased with them. Finally, the basic colors decided were classified into main, supplement and highlight colors in consideration of characteristics of each scene and they were effectively arranged based on the colors decided. If such colors and color schemes are properly applied according to characteristics of scenes, ecological, historical, cultural and traditional scenes of Damyang can be preserved consistently. Academic literature uses the abstract to succinctly communicate complex research. An abstract may act as a stand-alone entity instead of a full paper. As such, an abstract is used by many organizations as the basis for selecting research that is proposed for presentation in the form of a poster, platform/oral presentation or workshop presentation at an academic conference. Most literature database search engines index only abstracts rather than providing the entire text of the paper. Full texts of scientific papers must often be purchased because of copyright and/or publisher fees and therefore the abstract is a significant selling point for the reprint or electronic version of the full-text. Abstracts are protected under copyright law just as any other form of written speech is protected. However, publishers of scientific articles invariably make abstracts publicly available, even when the article itself is protected by a toll barrier. For example, articles in the biomedical literature are available publicly from medline which is accessible through design. It is a common misconception that the abstracts in medline provide sufficient information for medical practitioners, students, scholars and patients. The abstract can convey the main results and conclusions of a scientific article but the full text article must be consulted for details of the methodology.
