Ergasilus zacconis (Yamaguti, 1936), the copepod parasite originally named as Pseudergasilus zaconnis, is redescribed based on the specimens newly collected from the freshwater fish Zacco platypus (Temminck and Schlegel) from Japan. Some errors appearing in the original description are emended. An explanation for the generic position of this species is given.

A taxonomic study on the freshwater harpacticoids of the genus Canthocamptus has been accomplished as one of the serial researches on the family Canthocarnptidae in South Korea. As a result of it, a total of seven species of the genus are listed, two of which are new to Korean fauna: C. kitaurensis Kikuchi and C. macrosetifer Ishida. Additional materials of five species belonging to Canthocamptus mirabilis species group are recorded. A key to the seven species of the genus Canthocamptus known from Korea is prepared.

A taxonomic study on the genera Phyllognathopus and Harpacticella has been accomplished as one of the serial researches on the freshwater harpacticoids in South Korea. As a result, four species belonging to the genera are clarified, three of which are new to Korean fauna: P. viguieri (Maupas), P. paludosus Mrazek, and H. paradoxa (Brehm).

The cyclopoid specimens collected from various freshwater habitats at 141 locations in South Korea during the period from May 1983 to May 1989 are identified into 25 species or subspecies of 12 generain family Cyclopidae, and the seventeen species newly reported from Korea are redescribed and figured.

Five freshwater harpacticoid species of the genus Bryocamptus are identified as one of the serial taxonomic studies on the family Canthocamptidae in South Korea: B, zschokkei caucasicus (Borutzky, 1930), B. nivalis (Willey, 1925), B, pacificus Ishida, 1992, B. vejdovskyi (Mrazek, 1893) and B. umiatensis Wilson, 1958. Bryocamptus pacificus, B. vedjovskyi and B. umiatensis are newly known from Korea. A key to the species of the genus Bryocamptus in Korea is provided.

A taxonomic study on the genus Tropocyclops has been accomplished as a part of the series of studies on the freshwater cyclopoid copepods in South Korea. As a result, the Tropocyclops prasinus, hitherto known from Korea in many reports and papers, turns out to be a species complex of three sibling species: T. prasinus (Fischer, 1860), T. ishidai n. sp., and T. setulifer n. sp. This paper deals with description of two of these new species with taxonomic accounts on their inter- or intraspecific morphological discrepancies.

Two freshwater cyclopoid species including a new species are added to Korean copepod fauna: Ochridacyclops coreensis n. sp. and Itocyclops yezoensis (Ito, 1953). Both species were collected from the semi-subterranean waters like springs and wells. The present paper deals with the description of the new species and the systematic accounts on the two species, based on the morphological character comparison with the related congeners.

A taxonomic study on the genus Mesocyclops has been accomplished as one of the serial researches on the freshwater cyclopoid cope pods in South Korea. As a result, five species are recognized: M. leuckarti (Claus), M. pehpeiensis Hu, M. dissimilis Defaye and Kawabata, M. woutersi Van de Verde, and M. mariae Guo. Of these, M. dissimilis, M. woutersi, and M. mariae are new to Korean fauna. Morphological details of each species and the intraspecific variabilities are commented. A key to the species of genus Mesocyclops known from Korea is provided.

A taxonomic study on the Eucyclops serrulatus species group has been accomplished as one of the serial researches on the freshwater cyclopoid copepods in Korea. As a result, the 'Eucyclops serrulatus', hitherto known from Korea through many reports and papers, turns out to be a species complex of six sibling species: E. serrulatus (Fischer), E. roseus Ishida, E speratus (Lilljeborg), E. pacificus Ishida, E. ohtakai Ishida, and I tsushimensis Ishida Taxonomic accounts on their detailed interspecific discrepancies and intraspecific variabilities are presented. A key to the Eucyclops serrulatus group from the Far East is also provided.
