심박변이율 주파수 분석을 통한 실내온도에 따른 건강한 성인의 자율신경계 활동 평가 (Evaluation of the Ambient Temperature Effect for the Autonomic Nervous Activity of the Young Adult through the Frequency Analysis of the Heart Rate Variability)

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the autonomic nervous system activity in various ambient temperatures. To evaluate autonomic function, we use the frequency domain analysis of heart rate variability such as FFT(fast fourier transformation), AR(Auto-Regressive) model and Lomb-Scargle peridogram. HRV(heart rate variability) is calculated by using ECG recorded from 3 different temperature room which temperature is controlled in 18℃(low), 25℃(mid) and 38℃(high), respectively. Totally 22 subjects were participated in the experiment. In the results, the most significant autonomic changes caused by temperature load were found in the HF(high frequency) component of FFT and AR model. And the HF power is decreased by increasing temperature. Significance level was increased by increasing the difference of temperatures.

웨이브렛 변환을 이용한 궤도틀림 분석 (Analysis method for the Measured Track Geometry Data using Wavelet Transform)

  • The regularity of railway track alignment is a crucial component fur maintaining travel safety and the smoothness of passenger ride. The conventional spectral analysis has been considered to estimate the severity of the track irregularity from measured data. The time domain data used to be changed into the frequency domain by Fourier transform. Because the measuring points can be regarded as the time points, the spatial-frequency can be introduced instead of the time-frequency. Although FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) and/or PSD(Power Spectral Density) function could provide fairly localized information within frequency domain, but chronical configurations of data could be missed. In this study, we attempt to apply the Morlet wavelet transform for the purpose of a frequency-time-domain analysis rather than a frequency-domain analysis. The applicability of wavelet transform is examined for the estimation of the track irregularity with real measured track data on the section of Kyoung-bu line by EM-120 measuring vehicle. It is shown that the wavelet transform can be an effective tool to manage the track irregularity.

Numerical prediction analysis of propeller bearing force for full-scale hull-propeller-rudder system

  • The hybrid grid was adopted and numerical prediction analysis of propeller unsteady bearing force considering free surface was performed for mode and full-scale KCS hull-propeller-rudder system by employing RANS method and VOF model. In order to obtain the propeller velocity under self-propulsion point, firstly, the numerical simulation for self-propulsion test of full-scale ship is carried out. The results show that the scale effect of velocity at self-propulsion point and wake fraction is obvious. Then, the transient two-phase flow calculations are performed for model and full-scale KCS hull-propeller-rudder systems. According to the monitoring data, it is found that the propeller unsteady bearing force is fluctuating periodically over time and full-scale propeller's time-average value is smaller than model-scale's. The frequency spectrum curves are also provided after fast Fourier transform. By analyzing the frequency spectrum data, it is easy to summarize that each component of the propeller bearing force have the same fluctuation frequency and the peak in BFP is maximum. What's more, each component of full-scale bearing force's fluctuation value is bigger than model-scale's except the bending moment coefficient about the Y-axis.

기울기와 노이즈에 강인한 바코드 검출 시스템 (Angle Invariant and Noise Robust Barcode Detection System)

  • 영상에서 바코드 영역을 검출하는 다양한 방식들이 연구되어 왔다. 기존 방식들은 주파수 성분 특징을 이용하거나, Hough transform (HT)을 이용하여 바코드 영역을 검출한다. 하지만 이 방식들은 바코드의 기울기와 노이즈에 영향을 받는다. 또한 여러 개의 바코드가 있는 경우 정확히 검출하지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 바코드의 기울기와 노이즈에 강인하고, 복수 개의 바코드를 검출할 수 있는 방식을 제안한다. 우리는 전처리 단계로 Probabilistic Hough transform (PHT)를 이용하여 바코드 기울기, 노이즈, 그리고 개수에 상관없이 바코드가 존재할 가능성이 높은 영역을 추출한 후, 주파수 성분 분석을 통해 바코드를 찾아낸다. 구현된 시스템의 성능분석을 통해 다양한 환경에서 바코드 추출이 가능함을 확인했다.

Earthquake time-frequency analysis using a new compatible wavelet function family

  • Earthquake records are often analyzed in various earthquake engineering problems, making time-frequency analysis for such records of primary concern. The best tool for such analysis appears to be based on wavelet functions; selection of which is not an easy task and is commonly carried through trial and error process. Furthermore, often a particular wavelet is adopted for analysis of various earthquakes irrespective of record's prime characteristics, e.g. wave's magnitude. A wavelet constructed based on records' characteristics may yield a more accurate solution and more efficient solution procedure in time-frequency analysis. In this study, a low-pass reconstruction filter is obtained for each earthquake record based on multi-resolution decomposition technique; the filter is then assigned to be the normalized version of the last approximation component with respect to its magnitude. The scaling and wavelet functions are computed using two-scale relations. The calculated wavelets are highly efficient in decomposing the original records as compared to other commonly used wavelets such as Daubechies2 wavelet. The method is further advantageous since it enables one to decompose the original record in such a way that a clear time-frequency resolution is obtained.

차량 연료공급용 파이프 및 시험용 지그의 진동특성 해석 (Analysis of Vibration Characteristics of Fuel Pipe and Test Jig for Vehicle)

  • In this study, the natural frequency analysis of the fuel pipe and vibration test jig was performed as a basic study to determine the vibration characteristics of the vehicle's fuel pipe and the stability analysis of fatigue failure of the pipe. The natural frequencies of the fuel pipe and the fuel pipe with the test jig were calculated and the results were compared. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the natural frequency of the fuel pipe and the natural frequency of the test jig differed about 7 times, so that the vibration of the test jig did not affect the vibration of the fuel pipe. In addition, as a result of the natural frequency analysis of the fuel pipe itself and the pipe with the test jig attached, the maximum error is less than about 1%. In the future, it was suggested that the analysis of the design changed fuel pipe may be performed without a test jig.

  • Low frequency oscillation of inter-area system is important problem in power system areas because the operation conditions of power system depend on it. Generally, the analysis of the problem is used by small signal stability. Especially, the analysis results are affected by decision of load models. In this paper, the effect of the analysis results was studied according to load component characteristics. ZIP model, popular in large-scaled power system analysis, was used as the load model. Many cases were studied according to the combination of ZIP model in inter-area system.

  • To investigate the heavy-weight impact noise of apartment houses, numerical analysis was performed. The analysis acoustic pressure consider acoustic mode by finite element method. The variables considered effecting on the acoustic pressure are the Acoustic mode, acoustic damping, and the impulse load. The heavy-weight impact noise is a changeable value in the room. Since the most part of the frequency component of heavy-weight impact noise has low frequency. The noise in low frequency is related to the vibration of structure, the reflection of acoustic wave caused by wall and the standing wave called by acoustic mode. The prediction by the numerical analysis was verified with test result of the heavy weight-impact noise at apartment houses.

경험적 모드분해법에 기초한 계층적 평활방법 (Hierarchical Smoothing Technique by Empirical Mode Decomposition)

  • 현실세계에서 관찰되는 시그널(signal)은 다양한 주파수(frequency)들의 시그널로 혼합되어 있는 경우가 많다. 예를 들어 태양 흑점 자료의 경우 약 11년 주기와 85년 주기로 변동한다는 사실은 널리 알려져 있다. 또한 경제 시계열 자료의 경우는 통상적으로 계절요인(seasonal component), 순환요인(cyclic component) 그리고 장기적인 추세요인(long-term trend)으로 분해하여 분석한다. 이러한 시계열 자료를 구성요소별로 분해하는 것은 오래된 주제중 하나이다. 전통적인 시계열자료 분석기법으로 스펙트럴 분석기법 등이 널리 사용되고 있으나 시계열 자료들이 비정상(nonstationary)일 경우에는 적용하기 어렵다. Huang et. al(1998)은 경험적 모드분해법(empirical mode decomposition)이라고 하는 자료적응적인(data-adaptive) 방법을 제안하였는데, 비정상성(nonstationarity)에 대한 강건성(robustness)으로 여러 분야에 널리 응용되고 있다. 그러나 Huang et. at(1998)은 잡음(error)에 의해 오염된 자료에 대한 구체적인 처리방법은 제시하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문을 통하여 효율적인 잡음제거 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

최근 5년간 국내 연근해에서 발생한 해양사고에 대한 주성분분석 (Principal Component Analysis on Marine Casualties Occurred at Korean Littoral Sea in Recent 5 Years)

  • 본 연구에서는 2010년부터 2014년까지 최근 5년간 우리 나라 주변해역에서 발생하여 중앙해양안전심판원의 재결을 마친 1417건의 해양사고에 대해 이를 25개 요인별로 분류하고, SPSS 통계 프로그램에 의한 주성분분석(Principal Component Analysis; PCA)을 행하여 이들 각 요인들의 상관성 및 주요 해양원인을 분석 고찰하였다. 얻어진 주요한 결과들을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 해양사고의 주된 원인은 기관설비취급불량, 화기취급불량, 항행법규소홀, 침로선정유지불량, 경계소홀 등 기관실 및 조타실 관련 인적요인에 의해 발생한다. 2. 조타실 관련 인적요인에 의해 발생하는 사고는 충돌과 좌초 등이 큰 비중을 차지하며, 기관실 관련 인적요인에 의해 발생하는 사고유형은 주로 기관손상이나 화재폭발 등이다. 3. 주성분분석의 결과 제1주성분은 해양사고의 출현율을, 제2주성분은 해양사고의 원인을, 제3주 성분은 해양사고의 유형을 나타낸다.
