프리스트레스트 콘크리트 구조물의 장기거동 해석 (Analysis of Long-Term Behaviors of Prestressed Concrete Structures)

  • In the prestressed concrete structures, stresses are gradually redistributed with time due to the creep and shrinkage of concrete and the stress relaxation of prestressed steel. In this study a numerical procedure and computer program is developed to analyze the behavior of prestressed concrete structures considering the time-dependent properties of material. It accounts for the aging, creep and shrinkage of concrete and the stress relaxation of prestressed steel. The structural model uses two dimensional plane frame elements with three nodal degree of freedom and is analyzed based on the finite element method. Member cross section can consist of concrete, reinforcement and prestressing steel. Two different set of equations for the prediction of time-dependent material properties of concrete are presented, which are ACI, CEB-FIP. Analytical studies for different examples of prestressed concrete structures have been performed to demonstrated the capabilities and practical applicabilities of the developed program.

신보강재로 보수 보강한 기둥의 구조 성능 개선 (Structural Performance Enhancement of Seismic Retrofitted Column Using New Reinforcing Materials)

  • Reinforced concrete frame buildings in regions of low to moderate seismicity are typically designed only for gravity loads with non-seismic detailing provisions of the code. These buildings possess strong beam-weak column, which brings about the brittle structural performance like the column sidesway failure mechanism during the strong lateral load. The objective of this paper is to enhance the column strength and deformation capacity for reconfiguring the structural failure mode by averting a column soft-story collapse and moving to a more ductile beam-sides way mechanism suing new reinforcing materials. Aramid fiber sheet and reinforcing rod-composite materials was used for this purpose. The column was modeled by the 2/3 scale experimental specimen retested. According to the concept of the capacity design, the damaged column was strengthened by the column jacketing using new reinfocing materials such as rod-composite materials. In conclusion, the improvement of the flexural strength is observed and the capacity of the energy dissipation and the ductility is enhanced, too.

FPGA 기반의 냉연강판 핀홀 검출 시스템 (FPGA based System for Pinhole Detection in Cold Rolled Steel)

  • The quality of steel plate products is determined by the number of defects and the process problems are estimated by shapes of defects. Therefore pinholes defects of cold rolled steel have to be controlled. In order to improve productivity and quality of products, within each production process, the product is inspected by an adequate inspection system individually in the lines of steelworks. Among a number of inspection systems, we focus on the pinholes detection system. In this paper, we propose an embedded system using FPGA which can detect pinholes defects. The proposed system is smaller and more flexible than a traditional system based on expensive frame grabbers and PC. In order to detect consecutive defects, FPGAs acquire two dimensional image and process the image in real time by using correlation of lines. The proposed pinholes detection algorithm decreases arithmetic operations of image processing and also we designed the hardware to shorten the data path between logics due to decreasing propagation delay. The experimental results show that the proposed embedded system detects the reliable number of pinholes in real time.

  • Confocal Imaging System is an essential machine for a wide range of inspection wafer. For concurrent and fast acquiring the image data of four channels, the new image acquisition system used the protocol of camera-link standard with the full mode of configuration in interconnection with a frame grabber integrated in a computer, which is popularly used for many cameras, so the programming environment of image processing is optional such as Visual C++, Matlab. In addition, many conventional methods were coordinately used for contribution to build the high quality of images for precise processing analog signals of PhotoMutiplier Tubes(PMTs), accurate control of scanning device, sensitivity of PMTs, and laser source. The prototype of new image acquisition system, could meet the goal of development, it is used in LSCM for high content screening to investigation the processes of elements of living specimens at the same time by simultaneous grab image data on 4 PMTs channels.

아라미드 시트와 에너지 소산 장치에 의한 기존 골조의 능력 향상 (Capacity Development of Existing Frame by Aramid Sheet and Energy Dissipation Device)

  • 본 논문에서는 기둥이 취약한 골조의 내진성능을 향상시키기 위한 공법을 제안하였다. 이를 위하여 기둥을 아라미드 시트로 횡구속하여 취성적인 특성을 개선하였으며, S형 스트럿을 가지는 강재 댐퍼를 설치하여 에너지 소산 능력을 증진시켰다. 비보강 실험체 및 보강 실험체를 실물크기로 제작하여 수평하중 저항 능력을 평가하였다. 파괴 양상, 강도, 강성 저하 및 에너지 소산 능력 등에서 보강 실험체의 효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 ABAQUS를 이용한 FE 해석으로부터, 대상 실험체의 이력 거동을 예측 및 평가하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 TS 내진보강공법의 내진보강 효과 검증을 목적으로 7개의 지진파에 대한 TS 댐퍼(Tension Spring-Damper)로 내진보강된 구조물의 비선형 시간이력해석을 수행하였다. 비선형 시간이력 해석을 통해 얻어진 무보강 구조물의 층간변위비와 에너지소산 양과 비교한 결과 층간변위비가 약 30% 가량 감소하였고, 구조체를 통한 에너지 소산의 양은 반감되었다. 이를 통해 TS 내진보강공법의 제진성능이 우수함을 확인하였다.

  • 철근콘크리트 코어 벽체와 외부 철골골조로 구성된 복합벽체시스템은 중앙 코아 전단벽 주변의 오픈공간을 갖는다. 이와 같은 복합 벽체시스템은 연결된 벽체가 대부분의 횡하중에 저항하고 벽체저면과 커플링 보에서 대부분의 에너지를 소산할 수 있는 설계기법을 개발하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구논문은 커플링 보의 접합방식 및 층규모를 주변수로 수직하중 및 풍하중과 지진하중을 받는 복합 벽체시스템에 대하여 전단력, 전도모멘트, 최대 횡변위, 층간변위비 및 동적특성을 규명하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 원형강관 가새의 국부좌굴에 의한 내력감소를 배제하기 위하여, 가새의 국부좌굴 거동을 파악하고 좌굴제어 방법을 찾고자 한다. 좌굴을 제어하기 위한 방법으로, 하나는 좌굴 영역에 커버플레이트를 설치하여 좌굴을 구속함으로써 변형능력을 확보하고자 하는 것이며, 다른 하나는 가새 중앙부에 강봉과 스프링을 이용한 수축장치를 삽입하여 압축 시 좌굴의 위험을 배제하는 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 국부좌굴을 구속하거나 배제하기 위한 좌굴제어시스템을 제안하고, 실험을 통하여 제안한 방법의 적용성을 조사, 검토하는 것이다. 또한 좌굴제어에 따른 성능향상을 정량적으로 평가하는 것이다.

  • In this study, a full scale 3-axes shake table test for M-bar and T-bar type ceilings commonly used in the country was conducted. Through damage inspection during the test, seismic performance of ceilings according to variables, such as clearance between wall mold and ceiling as well as existence of facilities, was evaluated. A test frame consisted of square hollow section members was used for the shake table test. The experimental method was performed as a fragility test using required response spectrum described in ICC-ES AC156. In the case of architectural nonstructural component that contain ceilings, it mainly is evaluated the performance by post-test visual inspection. For the evaluation of seismic performance of ceilings, this study classified and defined damaged items for targeted ceiling system referring to illustrative damage according to nonstructural performance levels accordance with ASCE 41 and previous studies. And proposed illustrative damage items classification was utilized to compare the degree of the damage according to experimental variables. The experiment results confirmed that differences in boundary conditions due to the clearance at wall mold and the installation of facilities had a significant effect on the seismic performance of the ceiling.

머신비전을 위한 LED 조명시스템의 스트로브 제어 구동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Strobe Control over LED Lighting System for Machine Vision)

  • The machine vision technology has been widely used in the industrialized nations like the United States, Japan, and EU in the various industries from the late 1980s. Machine vision inspection system mainly consists of a camera, optics, illumination and an image acquisition system. Optimization of the illumination light source is very important. This paper shows a comparison between Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control and strobe control in driving LED lighting system for machine vision. PWM control method has problems such as a temperature rising of LED and a flickering in image measurement for inspection. In contrast, the proposed strobe control method can suppress the temperature of LED light source below 40℃. Also, it can remove the flickering problem through a synchronization between a frame grabber and a camera shutter. Finally, the strobe control method was shown to extract clearer images with a high precision compared to PWM control method.
