A Study on the Effect of the Improvement of Investment Environment with Investment Incentive on National Economy

  • This research is to investigate the effect of the improvement of investment environments with investment incentive on Korean national economy by looking into the foreign investment support system in Korea. To this end, first research model was set up based on our literary study and case study was conducted on 150 foreign companies that were located in industrial complex for foreign companies, received the tax benefit and government subsidization. And it was found that even though the foreign companies were contributing to the national economy in general such as in the area of production, export, employment, development of technology, there was no significant contributory difference between the investment incentive beneficiary and non-beneficiary foreign companies. Therefore it deemed reasonable to reconsider the way Korean government supports foreign companies in Korea and to reinforce foreign companies' relevance to national policy agenda with additional incentives to foreign companies located in comparatively less developed areas. As a way to promote foreign investment, promotion of investment infra such as improvement of follow-up services, openness to foreign investment, industrial deregulations in capital area, revitalization of free economic zone, efficient system to promote foreign investment and the reinforcement of public relations were considered necessary, especially the upgrading of economic structure and the integrated management of domestic and foreign investors deemed necessary for the optimal distribution of the industries.

치위생학과 졸업예정자의 취업스펙이 취업경쟁력에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Influence of Qualifications and Experiences in the Employment of Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 치위생학과 졸업예정자들의 취업스펙이 취업경쟁력에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 학생들의 진로, 취업준비에 관한 이해를 도울 뿐만 아니라 대학이나 기관에서 취업에 대한 효과적인 경쟁력 강화방안을 마련하는데 있다. 연구결과 '취업스펙의 기본요소는 취업경쟁력지수에 높은 영향을 미칠 것이다.'와 '취업스펙의 감동요소는 취업경쟁력지수에 높은 영향을 미칠 것이다.'는 두 개의 가설은 모두 채택되었다. 취업스펙의 기본요소 중 외국어 수준과 호감도가 낮게 나타났고, 직무능력과 감동요소 중에서는 기업의 이해, 직무와 관련된 교육, 자격취득 및 직무에 대한 경험 등이 낮게 나타났다. 이에 직무관련 교육과정의 개발 및 비교과 프로그램 개발을 통한 취업경쟁력 강화가 필요해 보인다.

  • Recently, the crisis of demographic extinction is rising in Korea more than any other country, and it is difficult for industrial sites to maintain without 'foreign workers'. Industrial accidents and accident deaths of foreign workers account for 7.6% and 12.3% of the total, through an in-depth analysis of fatal accidents in the manufacturing industry, differences and similarities between fatal accidents of foreign workers and all fatal accidents were confirmed in terms of occurrence type, workplace size, length of service, employment type, etc. In this study, customized countermeasures were found.

외국인 유입에 따른 보건의료재정 변화 및 지속가능성 제고를 위한 대응방안 연구 (A Study on the Responses to the Change of Health and Medical Finance and Sustainability of the Influencing Foreigners)

  • Purposes: The problem in the recent immigration policy and social policy changes for foreigners is that the preliminary analysis or research on the actual impact of the influx of foreigners has not been done enough in Korea yet.. This study is to examine the impact of the Korean health insurance finances on the influx of foreigners. Approach: This study analyzed the health insurance statistics for foreigners and overseas Koreans of the Health Insurance Corporation from 2013 to 2017. The data is the "Status of Health Insurance Premiums for Nationals, Foreigners, and Overseas Koreans from 2013 to 2017" submitted by the National Health Insurance Service to the Health and Welfare Committee during the 2018 National Audit Period. Findings: To summarize the analysis, first, the proportion of foreigners was only 1% of all subscribers (1.7% at work, 1.9% in regions) until 2017. Second, employees at work have a lower pay-to-pay ratio, and local subscribers have a higher pay-to-pay rate, regardless of nationality. Third, as immigrants are mostly concentrated in younger ages, they are healthy and use of hospitals is relatively low. Fourth, in terms of gender distribution, there are many women of childbearing age due to marriage immigration among foreign local subscribers, and more men use hospitals than workers who have a high proportion of males due to childbirth. In conclusion, the impact of immigration on health insurance finances is not large, and has a positive effect on finances. Practical Implications: If we simply consider the financial aspect, encouraging foreigners to subscribe to health insurance has a positive effect on finances. In particular, the more foreign workers are enrolled, the greater the financial gain. In particular, increasing the employment of foreign women through language education, vocational training, and employment support will help finance health insurance. One of the reasons foreign subscribers have a positive impact on health insurance finance is the low medical utilization rate. It can be said that young and healthy foreigners use fewer hospitals and clinics, but another aspect means that foreigners have difficulty using health insurance for various reasons. Therefore, various supports must be accompanied so that foreign subscribers can use medical services when necessary.

치위생과 학생들의 해외취업에 관한 의식 (Study of consciousness about employment overseas of dental hygiene students abroad)

  • This study got a conclusion following by questionnaire individual own recording law from Mokpo, Iksan, Gangneung to the objects to the academic 608 Dental Hygiene students whom had for consciousness investigations about employment overseas of some special college Dental Hygiene students. 1. Regarding the motivating factors to major in Dental Hygiene, most students(51.3%), particularly most freshmen(57.3%), have chosen this major because of more job opportunities than students with other majors. The most common source of information in choosing majors is the Internet(30.8%). 2. Many students have heard about overseas employment, particularly in case of juniors(82.5%). They want to work abroad if they are given the chances(70.6%), which indicates that the Dental Hygiene majors have much interest and positive attitude in overseas employment. 3. The most significant barrier to their overseas employment is the language, and thus the Dental Hygiene majors should improve their language abilities to be more involved in working abroad. 4. Showed the difference that an experience and light oil, the country where wanted to get a job at that tried to listen to relevance about employment of dental hygiene students by a school year abroad about these results, overseas employment noted. 5. While 'foreign language education must become activation' showed average highest, results to have seen relevance about employment time promotion plan overseas of dental hygiene students by a school year showed a difference by a school year.

건설현장 외국인근로 실태조사 및 개선요소 도출 (Survey on the Actual Condition and the Improvement Factors of Foreign Workers at the Construction Site.)

  • 심각한 인력난을 겪은 기업들은 공장을 해결이 쉬운 해외로 이전하거나, 외국인근로자의 고용을 증가시켜 인력난을 해결하고 있다. 건설현장 역시, 그들을 노동자로 고용하여 부족한 인력을 보충하고 있는 등, 외국인근로자에 대한 수요는 시간이 지날수록 점차 더 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 최근 외국인근로자의 국내 건설현장 투입과 관련된 정책은 외국인근로자 투입여부에 대한 논의에서 실질적인 투입실태 및 효율적인 관리방안을 모색하는 방향으로 전환되고 있다. 본 연구는 대상지역 건설현장에 참여하고 있는 외국인근로자의 현황과 투입실태 및 관리자 입장에서 외국인근로자의 문제점을 조사하고, 외국인근로자의 효율적 활용을 위한 개선 방법을 도출하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 진행을 위해서는 사례조사 대상 건설 현장을 찾아 외국인근로자와 내국인근로자(관리자)를 중심으로 외국인 근로자에 대한 실태 관련 설문조사를 실시하였고, 설문대상자를 중심으로 1:1 인터뷰를 추가 진행함으로써 설문의 신뢰성을 확보하고자 하였다. 실태조사를 시행하여 얻어진 자료는 SPSS 분석프로그램을 이용하여 각 항목에 응답 비율을 분석한 후, 분석 기준 항목에 따라 그래프화하여 표현하였다. 그 결과 문제점으로 제도적 차원의 문제, 의사소통의 문제, 기능미숙으로 인한 품질저하와 같은 문제점들이 많이 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 외국인근로자의 효율적 활용을 위한 개선방안을 언어 교육, 임금, 고용과 관련된 제도적 차원의 개선 등으로 도출하였다.

Research on the Impact of Shandong Province's FDI on Economic Growth under the Background of One Belt One Road

  • Purpose: After the reform and opening up, China's overall economic development has entered a new era. From mutual investment and trade transactions between domestic provinces and regions to investment and trade with foreign companies, the continuous supplement of investment funds makes the follow-up development of all aspects of economic development smoother and has played a strong impetus. effect. Foreign direct investment has many influences on the economic development of a country or region. Research design, data and methodology: This article uses the sample data of Shandong Province from 2011 to 2019 to analyze the foreign direct investment in Shandong Province by industry, region, method and other aspects, and study the relationship and influence between foreign direct investment and economic growth. Results: The results show that there is a relatively close relationship between foreign direct investment and economic growth, and it has played a role in promoting economic development in many aspects such as industrial structure, foreign trade, and employment. Conclusions: At the same time, corresponding suggestions are put forward based on the analysis and conclusions drawn.

산업유형별 상용직 고용 결정요인 - 외주(Outsourcing)를 중심으로 (Determinants of Employment of Regular Workers by Industrial Type: Focused on Outsourcing)

  • 본 연구는 통계청의 기업활동조사(2006년~2015년)를 병합하여 산업유형별 상용직 고용 결정요인을 분석하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2015년 기준 외주를 활용한 기업의 비중은 73.2%였으며, 제조업(83.7%)이 비제조업(63.7%)에 비해 20%p 높았다. 그리고 지난 10년간의 외주비 증가율은 제조업 88.7%, 비제조업 44.2%로 나타나 제조업이 두 배 이상 높았다. 둘째, 상용직 고용 결정요인을 추정한 결과, 노동소득분배율, 영업이익률, 매출액, 연구개발 집중도, 외국자본비율 변수는 상용직 고용을 유의하게 증가시키는 반면, 외주비, 자본집약도, 임시 일용직비율 변수는 고용을 유의하게 감소시키는 것으로 추정되었다. 인건비 변수는 임금인상이 이뤄진 당해 연도는 상용직 고용을 감소시키지만, 그 다음해에는 상용직 고용을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 산업유형을 세분화하여 외주가 고용에 미치는 영향을 추정한 결과, 모든 유형에서 상용직 고용을 감소시켰으며, 감소 폭은 제조업에서는 기초소재형, 비제조업에서는 유통서비스형이 가장 컸다.

중국경제의 고용결정요인분석 (An Analysis on the Determinants of Employment in Chinese Economy)

  • 개도국이 경제성장을 시도할 때 일반적으로 유휴생산요소들이 존재한다. 이런 상황에서 수출, FDI와 내수생산이 고용증가에 미치는 영향에 대해 중요한 경제적 함의를 Myint(1958)의 잉여분출설과 Lewis(1954)모형은 제공한다. 이 논문은 이 두 이론을 바탕으로 하여 수출과 FDI를 통해서 빠른 경제성장을 이룩하고 있는 중국경제에 적용하여 수출, FDI와 내수생산이 고용에 미치는 효과에 대해서 실증분석 하였다. 먼저 Cobb-Douglas생산함수를 통해 추정방정식을 유도하여 첫째 수출, FDI와 내수생산이 고용이 미치는 효과, 둘째 수출과 FDI증가가 기술습득을 촉진하고 이것이 노동생산성향상을 통해 고용을 촉진하는 효과를 추정하였다. 추정결과 중국은 내수생산이 고용효과가 가장 컸고 그 다음 FDI였으며 수출은 그다지 큰 고용효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 기술습득에 의한 고용효과는 수출보다는 FDI가 더 실질적인 것으로 나타났다. 이제 중국은 고용을 창출하여 내부불균형문제를 해결하기 위해서는 수출보다는 유입된 FDI를 내수생산에 활용하는 것이 더 유효하리라고 판단된다.

민간군사기업제도의 도입방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Civil Military Enterprise System for the Employment of the Discharged)

  • This paper is to introduce the foreign civil military enterprise system and to suggest a plan to improve the employment rate of the discharged soldiers who served for a long term and the welfare of soldiers highly. At first, Military Professional Resources Inc., Dyncorp Inc. and Cubic Inc. of the United States, Sandline International Inc. of England and ATCO Frontec Inc. and Ednoonton Inc. of Canada are introduced in this paper. And also, this paper is to analyze employment conditions and difficulties of the discharged soldiers and suggest to establish a institute of tentatively named 'Korean Civil Military Enterprise' in terms of the Government and the Department of Defense. This civil military enterprise is to plan and manage military projects, to research and develop drill manuals and military doctrines and policies and to evaluate and manage the military training. As a pattern of civil military enterprises, three types of Military Support, Military Consulting and Military Provider are presented. Moreover, in order to advance the civil military enterprise, diverse training programs(for public civil investigators, guard advisors, special security guards and security staffs) to utilize all sorts of special military fields are developed.
