  • Real-time control of on-site construction, based on high quality data, is essential to identify discrepancies between actual and planned performances. Additionally, real-time control enables timely corrective measures to be taken when needed to reduce the damages caused by the discrepancies. The focus of the presentation will be on our work, which uses automated data technologies to collect data needed for real time control.

차량용 HUD를 위한 3차원 정보표시의 방법 (The Method of 3D Information Display for Automobile HUD)

  • Most car accidents occur when the driver does not look at the lane. Specially When the driver needs to find the path through the navigation, the driver have to look the other site. The number of such accidents can be prevented, if the driver receives the information without gazing other spot during the car is running. HUD (Head-Up Display) Technology, developed for enhancing the combat effectiveness and pilot's visibility in fighter, is applied to luxury cars for the safe operation of the driver. In recent years, the simple speed, lubrication status etc., as well as navigation information also shows through HUD. HUD is expected to increase in the future. But these HUD show the information elsewhere in the driver's eye focus. It is necessary to focus on the windshield for a few msec to check the information. In this paper, Introduced method display the HUD information in 3D as well as in similar distance the driver's eye focus so that the driver can operate the car more safely.

어닐링 알고리즘을 이용한 CCD 카메라 초점 제어 (Focus Control for CCD Camera using Annealing Algorithm)

  • 본 논문에서는 CCD 카메라에서 나오는 NTSC 신호를 분석하여 근거리에서 초점을 맞출 수 있도록 렌즈의 동작을 제어하는 방법을 제안한다. 카메라와 물체의 거리가 약 1미터 이하로 가까워지면 자동 초점 기능을 갖춘 카메라는 영상의 전체적인 초점보다는 가장 근접한 미세 부분을 기준으로 초점을 맞추어서 영상을 획득한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, 어닐링 알고리즘을 이용하여 CCD 카메라 렌즈에 내장된 모터를 영상의 전체적인 신호에 따라 제어하여 근거리에서 처리대상에 가장 적합한 영상을 획득하는 방법을 제안한다. 이러한 CCD 카메라 초점 제어 기술은 눈의 홍채를 이용한 인식 시스템에서 사용될 목적으로 개발되었다.

  • We present a power-efficient driving scheme that consists of piezoelectric actuator and driver IC for AF (Auto-Focus) on ISM (Image Sensor Module). The piezoelectric actuator is more power-efficient than conventional voice coil motor actuator. And high power-efficiency driver IC is designed. So the proposed driving scheme using designed piezoelectric actuator and driver IC is more close to recent trend of green IT. The diver IC should guarantee fast and accurate performance. So, the optimum driving method and high accurate frequency synthesizer are proposed. The die area of designed driver IC is $2.0{\times}1.6mm^2$ and power consumption is 2.8mW.

  • This paper deals with the effect of laser welding parameters on the weld formation. Thin steels for automotive application were prepared so as to be welded with high power carbon dioxide laser system. Major process parameters were position of focus and travel speed. The effect of shielding gas was also discussed by employing the high speed photometry. Test results showed that the optimal position of focus varied in accordance with the joint configuration; bead-on-plate, butt or lap welding. It was recommended that the position of focus for the lap welding be located at slightly inner part of the material to be welded. In this case, however, it was noticeable that the weld penetration ratio, d/t$_{0}$ dropped drastically at the critical region. Results also demonstrated that both the bead width and penetration reduced as the travel speed increased. The penetration ratio showed two distinct regions; stabilized zone at the lower range of the travel spped and sudden drop zone at the higher range of travel speed. Lower limit of the penetration for acceptable weld was proved to be about 90% of the parent metal thickness based on the physical properties of the weld. Mixed gas application for both the shielding of molten metal and laser induced plasma control was recommended as far as the penetration was concerned.d.

  • The focus of this paper is to implement of virtual plant using module concept for the dynamic simulation of drum type boiler and to simulate the control trends of dynamic characteristics. MAtlab & Simulink is used for implement virtual plant & analyzation the dynamics & control trends. They are available for analyzing the dynamic characteristics of drum type Boiler by means of applying well measured data to virtual plant.

  • Structural control is a very broad field combining the areas of automatic control and structural engineering, with applications ranging from aerospace and mechanical engineering to building and civil infrastructure systems. In this paper, the focus is placed on civil engineering applications only. The goal is to address the issues concurring to form the scientific paradigm. As a resut, possible future directions of research into this field are identified.

  • 본 연구는 사회적 가치 코칭이 기업의 재직자들에게 미치는 긍정적인 영향을 살펴보고, 사회적 가치 코칭에서 특히 유익을 얻는 개인 특성으로 조절초점을 상정하고 그 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 국내 모 대기업의 재직자들을 대상으로 코칭 모델을 적용한 사회적 가치 코칭 프로그램이 개발되었다. 사회적 가치 코칭을 받은 집단이 통제집단에 비해 일의 의미, 헤도니아적 직무만족, 유데모니아적 직무만족, 잡크래프팅이 증가하는지를 살펴보았으며, 이를 조절하는 조절초점의 역할이 분석되었다. 향상초점의 조절효과는 전혀 나타나지 않아 예방초점에 대해서만 분석되었다. 분석 결과, 사회적 가치 코칭 집단이 통제집단에 비해 모든 종속변인에서 유의한 증가를 보였으며, 일의 의미, 헤도니아적 직무만족, 유데모니아적 직무만족에 대해서는 예방초점이 낮은 집단보다는 높은 집단에서 코칭이 해당 특성을 증가시키는 데 더 강한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 시사점과 한계점, 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

능동제에 구조물의 지진에너지 응답 (Earthquake Energy Response of Actively-controlled Structures)

  • IN analyzing earthquake response of structures important focus is on their diaplacements and shear forces. However seismic technology of passive energy dissipation makes focus on the seismic energy distribution of structures. The passive dampers enhance the capability of energy dissipation by their hysteretic behavior thus preventing the structural plastic deformation. In this paper the building structure with an active controller is analyzed with the view of earthquake energy distribution under elastic and plastic behaviors. The active control makes an effect of increasing damping capability which absorbs most of the earthquake input energy. Finally the different active gains resulting from the plastic deformation are applied to the active analysis and control forces and earthquake energy response are compared.
