  • Surgery to increase cerebral blood flow is one of the treatment methods of cerebral infarction. However, invasive methods, such as surgery, may result in postoperative complications or side effects. In order to supplement this invasive method, non-invasive devices have been introduced that use human blood pressure to pressurize the extremities to increase cerebral blood flow. However, the problem of poor speed and accuracy was raised. In this paper, the perfusion index of each arm was measured by applying pressure to both arms using Blood Oxygen Level Sensor to improve the accuracy of measurement and measurement time. The pressure applied to the arm by 75% of the moment when it falls to the leg and the pressure calculated by using the pressure value obtained from the arm. Like the existing blood pressure measuring cerebral blood flow increasing device, the blood flow can be increased by more than 20% and the measurement time can be shortened, so that it can be selectively used for the patient with cerebral infarction.

  • In recent years, drones have been used to measure aircraft flights data and weather information. Related applications include the measure for low-altitude atmospheric data, the measure for atmospheric fine dust, and the measure for air pollution. However, the mounting position of the atmospheric measurement sensor should be mounted by considering the effects of propeller flow, the EMI effects, and the changes in the weight of the drone. Among these, the upper flow of the propeller affects the wind speed and direction, so the optimal position should be selected. This study deals with the proper height of the atmospheric data measurement sensor. Through the flow analysis, we study the flow characteristics of around a drone and suggest the proper sensor mounting height.

  • We have proposed a novel planar lightwave circuit (PLC) optical sensor to monitor the contamination in a flow-cell where water is continuously supplied through a water quality measurement system. We designed a PLC chip with a V-shape waveguide and the simulated its function as a sensor for monitoring contamination in a flow-cell using a numerical the FDTD (finite-difference time-domain) analysis. A novel cross type of waveguide was introduced to make the PLC chip of the V-shaped waveguide. The fabricated PLC was cut into the cross waveguide. A change in the optical propagation loss of the PLC sensor was observed after immersing the PLC sensor into city water. It was determined that the propagation loss of the PLC sensor was 3 dB at a wavelength of $1.55{\mu}m$ in the city water for 15 days.

  • Internet data for IoT(Internet of Things) period was changed in such a way that the data is done by sharing information for the user. However, in the existing system IoT environment for the user to utilize the system it has a problem does not take into account the individual characteristics. And there must be an intermediate vectors are capable of controlling problems such as Dongle. In this paper, through the flow sensor control applications as a way to solve this problem to control the flow of the sensor according to the characteristics desired by the user. Due to this makes it possible to easily manage the sensor compared to conventional IoT environment. Accordingly, the user must manage the sensor through the application regardless of time and place. So it is believed to reduce the unnecessary power consumption is possible effective control sensor.

  • We have developed a breath flow sensor that is cheap, robust and has reasonable accuracy. It based on using two thermistors implanted in a breath nozzle, apart by a small but known distance. The sensors detect the small time interval when the breath tidal wave passes by. Therefore the speed of the breath gas can be determined in a given pipe of known diameter. The sensors are calibrated for a few parameters and their accuracy has been estimated.

  • Many intelligent robots have to be given environmental information to perform tasks. In this paper an intelligent robot, that is, a cleaning robot used a sensor fusing method of two sensors: LRF and StarGazer, and then was able to obtain the information. Throughout wall following using laser displacement sensor, LRF, the working area is built during the robot turn one cycle around the area. After the process of wall following, a path planning which is able to execute the work effectively is established using flow network algorithm. This paper describes an algorithm for minimal turning complete coverage path planning for intelligent robots. This algorithm divides the whole working area by cellular decomposition, and then provides the path planning among the cells employing flow networks. It also provides specific path planning inside each cell guaranteeing the minimal turning of the robots. The proposed algorithm is applied to two different working areas, and verified that it is an optimal path planning method.

  • During the rainy season, heavy downpours are always a source of concern for the world. Flooding and heavy rains can devastate communities, disrupt agriculture, and contribute to traffic accidents.. Weir and flow hall effect sensors are the conventional analytical methods for measuring flow rate; in this paper, we analyzed manhole flowrate statistics. The measurement of the flow rate of a notch/weir is a time-consuming task that necessitates continuous mathematical analysis. . We created three types of IoT sensors in this study: (HC-SR04 ultrasonic, YF-S201 magnetic, and HB100 radar), which take the sensor's real-time input signal and estimate the flow using a notch equation and a previously calibrated optimized coefficient of discharge. The proposed systems are cost-effective, but in terms of accuracy, we found that the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor is the best of the three systems
