This study deals with the laser cutting of stencil for the PCB. The most important aim of this study is to determine optimal conditions which make good-qualify stencil in Nd:YAG laser cutting. We made an experiment according to various variables (power. type of mask. gas pressure, cutting speed, and pulse width) and analyzed the cutting characteristics (surface roughness, kerf width. dross) . Each variable has optimal value for good-qualify cut edge under fixed condition. And neural network after learning experimental data with a million time iteration could predict surface roughness of cut edge under arbitrary condition approximately.
Two major obstacles in the utilization of electrical vehicles are their price and range. The collaboration of direct torque control (DTC) with induction motor (IM) is preferred for its low cost, easy implementation, and parameter independency. However, in terms of edges, the method has drawbacks, such as variable switching frequency and undesired current harmonic distortion. These drawbacks result in acoustic noise, reduced efficiency, and electromagnetic interference. A feed-forward approach for stator-flux-oriented DTC with space vector pulse-width modulation is presented in in this paper. The outcome of the proposed method is low current harmonic distortion with fixed switching frequency while preserving the torque performance and simple application feature of basic DTC. The method is applicable to existing and forthcoming IM drive systems via software adaptation. The validity of the proposed method is confirmed by simulation and experimental results.
Nitrification efficiency of fixed film biofilters with sand, loess bead, and styrofoam bead in biofilter columns of 1-m height and 30 cm width was studied. Synthetic wastewater was continuously supplied to the culture tank to maintain total ammonia nitrogen (TAN) concentration in the inflow water at around 8 mg/L. The hydraulic loading rate was set at 200 ㎥/$m^2$/day. TAN conversion was stabilized after about 90 day conditioning for all the selected filter media but with net accumulations of nitrite. On the volumetric basis, conversion rates of TAN and nitrite were the highest in styrofoam bead filter. Mean volumetric TAN conversion rates in the final samples were 682, 269, and 79 g TAN/㎥/day in the styrofoam bead, sand and loess bead filters, respectively. Low gravity and cost of styrofoam bead render the handling easier and more cost-effective.

Purpose : The goal of this study was to compare and analysis the dose distribution and treatment time between Tomotherapy planning with fixed jaw(FJ) and dynamic jaw(DJ). Materials and Methods : Seven patients were selected in the study including five common clinical cases(brain, head and neck(HN), lung, prostate, spine). 1) Helical Tomotherapy plans with FJ and DJ were generated with the same planning parameters such as Modulation factor, Pitch and Field width. 2) Tomo_edge plans with a larger field width were generated to compare to conventional HT delivery with fixed jaw. Dosimetric evaluation indices for target coverage are Dmin, Conformity index(CI) and for whole body including target are $V_{10%}$, $V_{25%}$, $V_{50%}$, $V_{75%}$ using Dose-volume histogram(DVH). Also, Treatment time and Cumulative MU were used for clinical review on Tomo_edge. Results : In case of using the same field width of Tomotherapy planning with FJ and DJ, the averaged variations were $V_{10%}$: -11.91%, $V_{25%}$: -7.6%, $V_{50%}$ :-4.75%, $V_{75%}$: -1.04%. Tomo_edge with a larger field width provides the averaged variations for target coverage: Dmin: -0.72%, CI: -1.25% and also shows the tendency of a sharp $V_{x%}$ decline in low dose area. The clinical improvements in the larger field width with DJ were observed in the treatment time, ranging from -51.21% to -15.11, and the Cumulative MU decrease, ranging from -57.74% to -15.31%. Conclusion : Target coverage achieved by FJ and DJ with the same field width has little differences. But integral doses on whole body efficiently decreased. Compared to the conventional HT delivery, Tomo_edge with a larger field width presents a little worse target coverage. However, it provides faster treatment delivery and improved cranial-caudal target dose conformity. Therefore, Tomo_edge mode is efficient in improving the treatment time and integral dose while maintaining comparable plan quality in clinic.

In this work, the characteristics of GIDL current in nanowire GAA MOSFET with different channel width and hot carrier stress. When the gate length is fixed as a 250nm the GIDL current with different channel width of 10nm, 50nm, 80nm, and 130nm have been measured and analyzed. From the measurement, the GIDL is increased as the channel width decreaes. However, the derive current is increased as the channel width increases. From measurement results after hot carrier stress, the variation of GIDL current is increased with decreasing channel width. Finally, the reasons for the increase of GIDL current with decreasing channel width and r device. according to hot carrier stress GIDL's variation shows big change when width and the increase of GIDL current after hot carrier stress are confirmed through the device simulation.
The object of this paper is to investigate the influence of antenna pattern on indoor radio channel characteristics. Different from previous works where this analysis was carried out at a fixed frequency using different antennas, in the present paper (where measurements were taken in a wide frequency range) the variation of the radiation pattern was caused by two factors: the change of the radiation pattern when the same antenna was used at different frequenicies and the use of different type of antennas. To carry out this analysis, frequency domain measurements of the indoor radio channel at 1 GHz, 5.5 GHz, 10 GHz and 18 GHz were collected. Measurements were taken using a network analyzer. Serveral re-alizations of the channel transfer function were obtained varying, for each measurement, the positon of the transmitter and keep-ing the receiver fixed. Estimate of the channel impulse response was obtained from the Inverse Fourier Transform (IFT) of the fre-quency response. The measurements were performed in an office enviroment with mostly metallic walls and inner separations. The obtained data were elaborated to obtain the power versus distance relationship, the Cummulative Distribution Functions(CDFs) of rms Delay Spread(DS) and of the 3 dB frequency correlation band-width. Finally, the 3 dB width of the frequency correlation func-tion has been empirically related to the inverse of the rms DS of the impulse response.

According to the increase of the channel length with fixed width/length, characteristic curves of drain current as a function of gate bias voltage of indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO) thin-film transistors moved to a positive direction of gate voltage, and field-effect mobility decreased. In case of fixed length and width of channel, field-effect mobility was lower and subthreshold slope was larger when drain bias voltage was higher. Due to large work function of IGZO, band bending at the junction region between IGZO channel and source/drain electrodes was expected to be in opposite direction to that between silicon and metal electrodes; this could explain the above results.
The change in the magnetic properties of a spin-valve multilayer with the structure IrMn (9 m)/CoFe (4 nm)/Cu (2.6 nm)/CoFe (2 nm)/NiEe (6 nm) is investigated as a function of the size and the aspect ratio. At a fixed aspect ratio (the length/width ratio) of 2, the magnetostatic interactions begin to affect the magnetic properties substantially at a spin-valve length of 5 $\mum$, and, at a length of 1 $\mum$, they become even more dominant. In the case of a fixed multilayer size (2.4 $\mum$) which is indicated by the sum of the length and the width, magnetization change occurs by continuous spin-reversal and M-H loops are characterized by no or very small hysteresis at aspect ratios smaller than unity, At aspect ratios greater than unity, magnetization change occurs by spin-flip resulting in squared hysteresis loops. A very large changes in the coercivity and the bias field is observed, and these results are explained by two separate contributions to the total magnetostatic interactions: the coercivity by the self-demagnetizing field and the bias field by the interlayer magnetostatic interaction field.
Effect of a ferromagnetic layer thickness on a narrow domain wall width is investigated. It is found that the narrow domain wall is formed in ferromagnetic/nonmagnetic/ferromagnetic multi layer structure with a loc at interlayer exchange coupling, and that the width of the narrow domain wall is affected by the ferromagnetic layer thickness. We performed micromagnetics simulations for the $Fe_1/Cr/Fe_2$ system with the local interlayer exchange coupling, with fixed thickness (20-nm) of $Fe_2$ layer and various $Fe_1$ layer thickness (1, 2, 4, and 6 nm). Consequently, we confirmed that the thinner the $Fe_1$ layer thickness, the thinner the width of the domain wall is formed, because of the surface energy nature of the interlayer exchange coupling.
The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is mostly damaged in sporting activities. To reconstruct the damaged ACL, a patellar tendon (PT) is often the most preferred graft due to its fast healing and bone integration i.e. bone-patellar tendon-bone graft. Suitability of the PT often depends on the morphometric profile of the tendon. This study reported on the harvestable surface area (SA) of the tendon using a simple tracing method. The PT of 79 adult formalin-fixed cadavers of South Africans of European Ancestry were dissected, and the margins of the PT were traced on a wax paper before the tracings were scanned. The SA, straight proximal width (SPW), curved proximal width (CPW), straight distal width (SDW), curved distal width (CDW) and length of tendon (LOT) from the digitized image of the PT was measured. In addition, the length of the lower limbs was measured to normalize the measurements. The results showed no significant side differences, and the measurements were not sexually dimorphic. A strong correlation was reported for SA vs. LOT, SPW vs. CPW and SDW vs. CDW for both sexes and sides. The presented morphological profile provides additional information on the usability of the graft and with respect to healing and recovery.
