  • We generalize a result of Dror Farjoun and Zabrodsky on the relationship between fixed point sets and homotopy fixed point sets, which is related to the generalized Sullivan Conjecture. As an application, we discuss extension problems considering actions on homogeneous spaces of p-compact groups.

  • In this paper, we establish coupled fixed point theorems for mixed monotone mappings satisfying nonlinear contraction involving a pair of altering distance functions in ordered G-metric spaces. Via presented theorems we extend and generalize the results of Harjani et al. [J. Harjani, B. L$\acute{o}$pez and K. Sadarangani, Fixed point theorems for mixed monotone operators and applications to integral equations, Nonlinear Anal. 74 (2011) 1749-1760] and Choudhury and Maity [B.S. Choudhury and P. Maity, Coupled fixed point results in generalized metric spaces. Math. Comput. Model. 54 (2011), 73-79].

  • The purpose of this paper is to establish a random fixed point theorem for nonconvex valued random multivalued operators, which generalize known results in the literature. We also derive a random coincidence fixed point theorem in the noncompart setting.

  • In this paper, we prove some coupled fixed point theorems satisfying some generalized contractive condition in a cone metric space over a Banach algebra. We also applied the results obtained to show coupled fixed point of some contractive mapping of integral type.

  • Popa [14] proved the common fixed point theorem using implicit relations. Saluja [17] proved a fixed point theorem on complete partial metric spaces satisfying an implicit relation. In this paper, we prove a fixed point theorem on complete partial metric space satisfying another implicit relation.

  • In this work, we establish common fixed point results by utilizing a variant of F-contraction in the framework of C*-algebra valued metric spaces. We utilize E.A. and C.L.R. property possessed by the mappings to prove common fixed point results in the same metric settings. To validate the applicability of these common fixed point results, we provide illustrative examples too.

  • The aim of this paper is to establish a new fixed point theorem for a set-valued mapping defined on a metric space satisfying a weak contractive type condition and to establish a new common fixed point theorem for a pair of set-valued mappings defined on a metric space satisfying a weak contractive type inequality. And we give periodic point theorems for single-valued mappings defined on a metric space satisfying weak contractive type conditions.

  • In this paper we have a common fixed point theorem which is a generalization of result of [12] and we characterize the conditions for continuous self mappings S, T of complete fuzzy metric space (X, M, *) have a uniqe common fixed point in X.
