한국형 고속전철의 차체 진동특성 분석 (Analysis of Characteristics of Body Vibrations for Korean High Speed Train)

  • The prototype of Korean high speed train(KHST), composed of two power cars, two motorized cais and three trailer cars, has been designed, fabricated and tested. In this paper. the body vibration has been reviewed from the viewpoint of the vehicle's safety, the ride comfort and the vibration limits for components and sub-assemblies mounted on the car-body using by analytical method and experimental method. The on-line test of KHST has been tarried out up to 260 ㎞/h in the KTX line and the results of the on-line test show that KHST has no problems in the vehicle's safety. the comfort ride and the vibration limits at this speed. And the characteristics of body vibrations has been Predicted at 300 ㎞/h and 350 ㎞/h by fitting curve about the measured acceleration signals.

현장 규모 biobarrier의 수리학적 특성과 기초 설계

  • Subsurface biobarrier technology has potential applications to contain contaminated groundwater and/or to degrade toxic pollutants in groundwater. Effective biobarrier formation is need to assess of hydrogeologic characteristics and to conduct practical operation strategies and design based on this prior to design biobarrier. Thus, in this study, we examined hydrogeologic characteristics in biobarrier construction site. Hydraulic conductivities which calculated from slug test data have shown difference with each well as 1.20$\times$10$^{-3}$ -6.00$\times$10$^{-5}$ cm/sec. Tracer test is a method in which concentration of tracer solution during withdrawal in each well by vacuum extraction system is measured with time. Tracer solution was continuously injected by constant head tank. Measured tracer concentration versus time data were fitted to analytical solution of convection dispersion equation (CDE). The fitting data of CDE to the measured data at each extraction well yielded were 0.61cm/min(pore velocity), 5.38$\textrm{cm}^2$/min(dispersion coefficient) for discharge rate of 0.47 1/min and 1.75cm/min(pore velocity), 36.34$\textrm{cm}^2$/min(dispersion coefficient) for discharge rate of 0.93 1/min. As a result, we acquired fundamental parameters which need to design biobarrier and operation strategies.

주행 시험 데이터를 이용한 저가형 차량시물레이터의 조향감 재현 장치 구현 (Development of A Haptic Steering System for a Low Cost Vehicle Simulator using Proving Ground Test Data)

  • A haptic steering system which reflects steering reaction torque has been developed for a fixed base vehicle simulator. The haptic steering system consists of a steering effort sensor, MR-clutch, AC servo motor and controller. In order to generate realistic steering torque feel to driver and at the same time to meet real-time simulation requirement, 3D torque map is constructed by experimental data and torque generation algorithm using the torque map has been also developed. 3D torque map is constructed using curve fitting and interpolation of the measured values of the steering angle, velocity and steering torque from actual slalom test on the proving ground. In order to carry out performance test of the developed haptic steering system, a fixed based vehicle simulator is constructed by integrating real time vehicle dynamics module, VR-video/audio module, and the haptic steering system. Steering torque and steering angle curves have been obtained from virtual testing in the vehicle simulator and performance of the haptic steering system has been evaluated.

가스 파이프라인용 30인치 볼 밸브의 누설량 평가 (Assessment of Gas Leakage for a 30-inch Ball Valve used for a Gas Pipeline)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the gas leakage for a 30-inch ball valve. The ball valve was designed and manufactured for a natural gas transportation through a long-distance pipeline mainly installed in the permafrost region. The gas leakage assessment is based on the pressure testing criteria of international standards. Pressure conditions of the gas leakage test was employed 70 bar, 100 bar, and 110 bar. The amount of the gas leakage at each pressure condition was small and had a value under the pressure testing criteria, ISO 5208. Gas leakage with respect to the test pressure was predicted by the polynomial curve fitting using the experimental results. It is found that the gas leakage rate according to the pressure is proportion to a second order curve.

습식 다회선 초음파유량계의 특성평가 연구 (A Study on Performance Characteristics of Wetted-type Multi Path Ultrasonic Flowmeter)

  • An experimental investigation has been carried out in order to evaluate characteristics of wetted-type multi-path ultrasonic flowmeters. The multi-path ultrasonic flowmeters were installed at various entrance and exit locations for several cases of pipe fitting(straight, $90^{\circ}$ double elbow) and valve(gate valve, butterfly valve). We measured the flow-rate at each location. The measurement data of test flowmeter were compared with the measured data of reference flowmeter. The uncertainties of reference flowmeter and test flowmeter are 0.3 %, 0.4 %, respectively. The results demonstrate the effects of flowmeter location as well as the measurement errors in flow rate. The distance between the flow disturbance factor and a flowmeter was an important element of the test.

Experimental study on seepage characteristics of large size rock specimens under three-dimensional stress

  • In order to study the effect of stress and water pressure on the permeability of fractured rock mass under three-dimensional stress conditions, a single fracture triaxial stress-seepage coupling model was established; By using the stress-seepage coupling true triaxial test system, large-scale rock specimens were taken as the research object to carry out the coupling test of stress and seepage, the fitting formula of permeability coefficient was obtained. The influence of three-dimensional stress and water pressure on the permeability coefficient of fractured rock mass was discussed. The results show that the three-dimensional stress and water pressure have a significant effect on the fracture permeability coefficient, showing a negative exponential relationship. Under certain water pressure conditions, the permeability coefficient decreases with the increase of the three-dimensional stress, and the normal principal stress plays a dominant role in the permeability. Under certain stress conditions, the permeability coefficient increases when the water pressure increases. Further analysis shows that when the gob floor rock mass is changed from high stress to unloading state, the seepage characteristics of the cracked channels will be evidently strengthened.

  • Most of the pile's vertical static load tests in construction sites are the proof load tests, which is difficult to accurately estimate the ultimate bearing capacity and analyze the reliability of piles. Therefore, a reliability analysis method based on the proof load-settlement (Q-s) data is proposed in this study. In this proposed method, a simple ultimate limit state function based on the hyperbolic model is established, where the random variables of reliability analysis include the model factor of the ultimate bearing capacity and the fitting parameters of the hyperbolic model. The model factor M = RuR / RuP is calculated based on the available destructive Q-s data, where the real value of the ultimate bearing capacity (RuR) is obtained by the complete destructive Q-s data; the predicted value of the ultimate bearing capacity (RuP) is obtained by the proof Q-s data, a part of the available destructive Q-s data, that before the predetermined load determined by the pile test report. The results demonstrate that the proposed method can easy and effectively perform the reliability analysis based on the proof Q-s data.

Mean wind loads on T-shaped angle transmission towers

  • Compared with traditional transmission towers, T-shaped angle towers have long cross-arms and are specially used for ultrahigh-voltage direct-current (UHVDC) transmission. Nevertheless, the wind loads of T-shaped towers have not received much attention in previous studies. Consequently, a series of wind tunnel tests on the T-shaped towers featuring cross-arms of varying lengths were conducted using the high-frequency force balance (HFFB) technique. The test results reveal that the T-shaped tower's drag coefficients nearly remain constant at different testing velocities, demonstrating that Reynolds number effects are negligible in the test range of 1.26 × 104-2.30 × 104. The maximum values of the longitudinal base shear and torsion of the T-shaped tower are reached at 15° and 25° of wind incidence, respectively. In the yaw angle, the crosswind coefficients of the tower body are quite small, whereas those of the cross-arms are significant, and as a result, the assumption in some load codes (such as ASCE 74-2020, IEC 60826-2017 and EN 50341-1:2012) that the resultant force direction is the same as the wind direction may be inappropriate for the cross-arm situation. The fitting formulas for the wind load-distribution factors of the tower body and cross-arms are developed, respectively, which would greatly facilitate the determination of the wind loads on T-shaped angle towers.

공내재하시험을 이용한 화강풍화토의 전단계수 산정 (A Study on the Shear Modulus of Weathered Granite Soil by Pressuremeter Tests)

  • 공내재하시험은 고무 튜브를 보링공에 넣어 압축을 가함으로써 압력과 변형관계 곡선을 얻을 수 있는데 지반교란이 해석 결과에 큰 영향을 미친다. 공내재하시험의 지배방정식은 공동확장이론과 쌍곡선 형태의 흙모델을 기본으로 이론적으로 유도할 수 있으며 이렇게 유도된 식과 곡선 보정기법을 적용시키면 지반교란이 없는 상태의 응력-변형 곡선을 얻을 수 있다. 이러한 해석 방법은 재하단계에 적용할 수 있으며 국내의 화강풍화토의 공내재하시험 결과에 적용하여 초기전 단계수를 구하였다. 이렇게 구한 초기전단계수값을 표준관입시험 결과와 비교 분석하여 초기전 단계수값과 표준관입시험의 상관관계를 구하였다.

간헐적인 패널 1차 자기회귀과정들의 동질성 검정과 적용 (Test of Homogeneity for Intermittent Panel AR(1) Processes and Application)

  • 간헐적인 패널 시계열 자료의 개념과 구조를 소개하고, 간헐적인 패널 시계열 자료의 모형으로 간헐적인 패널 1차 자기회귀 모형을 고려하였다. 간헐적인 패널 1차 자기회귀 모형의 동질성 검정을 위하여 Wald 검정통계량을 제안하고, 그 극한분포를 제시하였다. 또한 동질성이 만족되는 경우 시점 별 평균을 이용하여 종합한 자료로 모형을 적합하였다. 이 모형의 동질성 검정 통계량의 극한분포가 $^x2$분포에 잘 따르는지를 알아보기 위해 모의실험을 실시하고, 실제 자료 분석으로 지역별 월별 Mumps 자료에 간헐적인 패널 1차 자기회귀 모형을 적합하여 동질성 검정을 수행한 결과 동질성을 만족하였다. 동질성이 만족된 지역별 월별 Mumps 자료를 시점 별 평균을 이용하여 종합하고 1차 자기회귀 모형으로 적합하였다.
