어구에서 발생되는 소음 -트로올 어구- (UNDERWATER NOISE GENERATED BY FISHING GEAR -Stern trawl net-)

  • 조업중의 어선이나 어구로부터 발생되는 수중소음의 음향특성을 구하기 위하여 특별히 고안된 수중녹음장치를 이용하여 트로올어구의 수중소음을 녹음분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 조업중인 트로올어구에서 측정수 소음에는 어선이 발하는 소음의 영향을 극히 적다. 2. 소음의 주파수분포는 $DC\~6,300\;Hz$이고 그 중 우세한 주파수대는 $100Hz\~6,300Hz$이며 최대음압은 $137db(re\;1:{\mu}Pa$이었다. 3. 뜸줄부보다 발줄부에서 음압준위가 높고 자루부분에서의 음압준위가 가장 낮았다. 4. 예망중일 때보다 양망중일 때가 음압준위가 높고 투망중의 음압준위가 가장 낮았다. 5. 예망중의 트롤어구에서 발생되는 수중소음의 주된 음원은 어구의 ground rope와 해저의 마찰음 및 otter board와 해저와의 마찰음이라고 추정할 수 있다.

결함수 분석 (FTA) 기법을 이용한 어선 해양 사고 분석 (An analysis on marine casualties of fishing vessel by FTA method)

  • The most frequent occurring and the serious marine casualties in fishing vessels are the collision in statistics from Korea Maritime Safety Tribunal (2008-2015). Collisions are is given a great deal of weight in all marine casualties, and the main cause of collisions is the negligence of watching. From this point of view, this study deals with the collision and its immediate cause, the negligence of watching which are main factors on the indirect causes. Basic analyzing data was gathered from the questionnaire made by experts of sea service part, and analyzed by using the fault tree analysis (FTA). From the result of the study, the occurrent probability of the negligence of watching in the collision due to the indirect causes occupied 64.9%, and its probability caused by the man factors was less than the other factors; i.e. the media factors and the management factors. For the reduction of the negligence of watching in the collision from this study, it needs an effort to remove not only the man factors, but also the media factors and management factors.

소형 어선용 디젤기관에서의 연료유 성상에 따른 배기배출물 특성에 관한 연구 (An experimental study on characteristics of exhaust emissions with fuel properties changes in a diesel engine for small-sized fishing vessel)

  • In order to test the applicability of bunker-A in a diesel engine for small-fishing boat, the investigation of the engine performance and the exhaust emission was performed under various conditions of fuel property, intake air pressure and fuel temperature. It was also performed based on IMO NOx Technical code. At high load, the energy consumption rate of bunker-A was lower than that of diesel oil, and the characteristics of exhaust emission of bunker-A were similar to those, and NOx emission rates of both fuels satisfied the IMO NOx emission regulation limits. The energy consumption rate and characteristics of exhaust emission were improved as the intake air pressure was increased, but these were not improved remarkably as the temperature of bunker-A was heated. However, at low load the energy consumption rate, CO emission rate and HC emission rate of bunker-A were higher than those of diesel oil, but NOx emission rates of the fuels were about the same. In addition, at low load the energy consumption rate and CO emission rate of bunker-A were increased as the intake air pressure and the temperature were higher than normal conditions. Accordingly, it is thought that the use of bunker-A in a kind of test engine is possible at high load. On the other hand, it is thought that more research is needed to improve the combustion efficiency under low temperature and low load condition.

어선용 수평 냉각판 냉동장치의 냉동 효율 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Freezing Efficiency Improvement of Horizontal-Plate Freezer for Fishing Vessel)

  • The economic efficiency for fishery products can be related to their freshness and the quality. In order to freshly storage the product, freezing equipment system is necessary for fishing vessels. For this purpose, the horizontal plate freezer (HPF) is mostly used. In this research, our major objective is to improve the freezing performance of the HPF. Therefore, it is important to analyse the relationship between the shape of channels and the cooling temperature of the HPF. In order to save calculation time while checking the trend analysis between shape and performance, we used scaled models, and evaluate the cooling temperature of full scale model based on trend analysis results. The produced HPF in domestic was used, and the same operating conditions are considered. Based on this paper, the future research will be a comparison and verification through the experiments.

우리나라의 해상안전통신망 관리 체계 개선방안 (The Improvement method of operation system for the maritime safety network in our country)

  • 해상안전통신망은 해양사고의 예방과 해양사고발생시 인명과 재화를 효율적으로 보호하는 것을 주목적으로 하고 있다. 우리나라의 해상안전통신망은 1999년2월1일 GMDSS제도의 전면시행으로 인하여 관련통신설비들이 대폭 바뀌었다. 또, 이를 관리하는 관련법규와 운영 방식도 바뀌어 과거에 비하여 해상에서의 안전시설이나 관련제도가 강화되었다. 그러나 해양사고로 인한 인명피해는 줄어들지 않았고 오히려 증가하였다. 실제로 우리나라에서 발생한 전체 해양사고 중 약80%가 소형어선에서 발생하였으며 소형선박은 사고발생즉시 전복되기 때문에 신속히 구조요청이 이뤄져야 인명피해를 줄일 수 있다. 이에 대하여 최근 도입된 GMDSS 통신설비들은 자동화되어 신속한 구조요청 또는 조난통보를 한 수 있게되었다. 그러나, 소형어선의 해양사고는 대부분 5톤 미만의 선박이고, 이 선박들은 GMDSS제도에 의해 관리되지 못하는 문제점을 안고 있다. 본 논문에서는 우리나라의 현실에 적합한 해상안전통신망을 효율적으로 개선시킬 수 있는 대안을 제시하였다.

  • 삼면이 바다로 둘러싸인 우리나라에서는 해상을 통한 물류가 전체 물류량에 90% 가까운 비중을 차지하고 있고, 중소형의 어업용 선박들도 다수 등록되어 있는 상황이다. 요즘 해상에서 발생하는 사고가 많은 인명 피해 및 바다 환경에 미치는 악영향으로 인해 해상교통관제에 대한 필요성이 증가되고 있다. 현재 해상에서 사용하고 있는 선박에 대한 정보는 크게 해상교통관제시스템(VTS)에서 활용하는 AIS 정보와 항만에서 운영하는 항만운영정보시스템(Port-MIS)으로 구분되어 있으며, 서로 간에 정보 교환이 이루어지지 않는 상황이다. 현재 어선에까지 선박 패스 장치(V-PASS) 설치가 확대되고 있는 상황에서 선박에 대한 정보가 다원화로 저장되어 관리, 운영, 활용에 효율성이 떨어지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 해상교통관제시스템을 위한 선박 정보를 통합하여 효율적으로 관리하는 방안에 대해 다루고, 구현 및 적용 방안을 제시한다.

선박엔진의 NOx 배출량 산정 (Estimation of Exhaust NOx Emission for Marine Engines)

  • Considering international status of our country as world class ship builder and geographical characteristics encircled by sea in three facets, controlling of air pollutants emission from marine engines becomes more and more important issue in recent days. Implementation of immediate pollutants emission control regulation and standardization of test and certification procedure are required to reduce air pollution from marine engines. But cost increments due to additional equipment of emission control device and development and certification test expenses as well as depreciation of fuel economy should be considered. To satisfy those air pollution reduction and economic requirements, we should make our own interpretation of IMO standard and implementation schedule depending on our country's status. For this purpose we measured NOx emission from small and middle class marine engines to calculate emission factor and total pollutant emission in our country. With the comparison and analysis of other countries emission control regulation we proposed basic data of total emission from marine engine and future emission control standard in our country. According to our estimation, 62% of total NOx emission of marine engines comes from fishing boat and 38% from commercial vessels. The portion of NOx emission from marine engine is 18.6% of whole country NOx emission. Due to the voyage characteristics of middle and large vessel and necessity of international harmonization of marine engine pollutants emission control standard, it is inevitable to adopt IMO standard for middle and large marine engines. But considering technological and cost effect of fishing boat operating in near sea, it is resonable to set a standard within 80% of measured value at the moment and gradually implement the same IMO standard in near future.

해양레저 발전을 위한 피셔리나 활성화 방안 (Fisherina Activation Plan for the Development of Marine Leisure)

  • 본 연구는 피셔리나 개발의 필요성을 심층적으로 분석하여 피셔리나 활성화 방안을 제시하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 문헌분석과 심층면담, 델파이 분석을 통해 결과를 도출하였다. 그 결과 피셔리나 개발의 필요성은 첫째, 해양레저 선박의 증대로 인한 포화상태, 둘째, 경제적인 건설의 가능성, 셋째, 어촌경제의 활성화로 나타났다. 피셔리나의 문제점은 첫째, 어민과 레저선박 이용자 간의 갈등, 둘째, 재정적 어려움, 셋째, 인프라의 부족으로 도출되었고, 이에 따른 피셔리나 활성화 방안은 첫째, 이해관계자를 중심으로 한 협의체 구성방안, 둘째, 재정건전성 확보방안, 셋째, 사업연계를 통한 인프라 구축방안, 넷째, 제도적 보완방안으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 낙후된 국내 피셔리나 개발 사업을 확대하고, 더 나아가 해양레저산업의 활성화에 중요한 역할을 할 수 있을 것이다.

전라남도 연안에 서식하는 주꾸미(Amphioctopus fangsiao)의 산란시기와 유어낚시 어획실태 (Spawning Period and Estimated Recreational Catch of Amphioctopus fangsiao in the Coastal Waters of Jeollanam-do, Korea)

  • Amphioctopus fangsiao is a crucial fishery stock located off Korea's western and southern coasts. In this study, we present data on the spawning period and estimated recreational catch of A. fangsiao in the coastal waters of Jeollanam-do, South Korea. The overall sex ratio was estimated to be 1:1.13 (female: male); in females and males, the gonadosomatic index ranged from 1.22 to 12.14 and 0.17 to 3.44, respectively. The breeding season lasted from December to May, with spawning peaks observed between March and May. Furthermore, the estimated total annual recreational catch of A. fangsiao was 185,085 kg, with November recording the highest recreational catch. A. fangsiao catch per unit effort (CPUE) ranged from 3 to 302.4 kg per vessel d-1. Therefore, these findings underscore the need for additional monitoring, as any further assessment of A. fangsiao stock necessitates an understanding of recreational catch assessment and fishing efforts in Jeollanam- do's coastal waters.

수심에 따른 실습선 백경호의 조종성능 추정 (Estimation of maneuvering characteristic of training ship Baek-Kyung according to water depth)

  • Recently, universities of fisheries and institutions related to fisheries are actively carrying out a project to build new fisheries training ships. These new fisheries training ships are significantly larger in size and longer in length than the previous ships. In addition, these new ships basically have space that can accommodate more than 100 crew and passenger. On the other hand, they are excluded from IMO maneuverability evaluation since the size of these ships are still less than 100 m in length (LBP). These results have had an impact on the study of maneuverability of fishing vessels including the fisheries training ships. Against these backgrounds, the authors conducted a study to estimate the maneuvering characteristics of fisheries training ship Baek-Kyung according to depth in order to prepare a maneuvering characteristic index that enables the large fisheries training ships to navigate more safely using a modified empirical formula. It was confirmed that the maneuvering characteristics of Baek-Kyung changed significantly as the values of the hydrodynamic force coefficients changed as the water depth gradually decreased from around 1.5 (approx. 8 m in depth) of the ratio of the water depth to the ship draft. The results of this study will not only help navigators understand the maneuvering characteristics of Baek-Kyung, but also serve as an indicator when navigating in shallow water. In addition, the accumulation of these results will serve as a basis for future study on maneuverability of fishing vessel types.
