지하철정거장 화재에 대한 강구조물의 내화해석 (A Numerical Analysis of Steel Structures on a Subway Station Fire)

  • A fire disaster is very serious in the closing space like subway station. In this study, the simulation on fire diffusion is performed to get the temperature history curve, which is used for the fire resisting structural analysis. Most of subway stations are built by the reinforced concrete structure, but recently steel structures are selected for the larger space or beauty. Steel structures relatively have more weaknesses against fire, so it is necessary to develop the method for evaluating fire-resisting capacity in this kind of structures. The developed method is applied to the subway station in Daegu city. It shows that the developed method can be used to simulate the fire disaster and to get the temperature history curve and evaluate the safety of steel structures against the fire.

정압기지에 대한 산불화재 영향평가 (Effect Evaluation of Forest Fire on Governor Station)

  • This Study is to suggest a method of effect evaluation of forest fire on governor station in shrub land. Theoretically, to evaluate effects of forest fire, it is combined that Spread Rate of Forest Fire, Flame Model, and Thermal Radiation Effects Model; i.e. a travel time of forest fire is calculated by Spread Rate of Forest Fire, fire-line intensity is calculated by Flame Model, and effects of fire-line intensity is affected by Thermal Radiation Effects Model. With the aforementioned method, we could carry out the effect evaluation of forest fire on governor station in shrub land and could distinguish scenarios to need protection plan from all scenarios.

대심도 지하역사에서의 화재시 연기거동과 피난에 대한 수치해석 연구 (Numerical Study on the Smoke Movement and Evacuation in the Deeply Underground Subway Station Fire)

  • Advantages of the deeply underground subway are underground space efficiency, high speed, decrease of noise and vibration. However, when fire occurs in the deeply underground subway station, large casualties are occurred like Daegu subway station fire due to the increase of evacuation distance. In this study, a numerical analysis was performed by using the fire and evacuation analysis program FDS+EVAC for smoke movement and evacuation in Beotigogae station among the deeply underground subway station. Heat release rate of carriage fire was set 10MW and the fire growth rate was ultrafast. As a result, the smoke move to the exit at 1085 second. The total evacuation time took 956 second.

터널 내 화재발생시 구난역 내의 연기 거동에 미치는 설계된 환기 영향에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Designed Ventilation Effect on the Smoke Movement at Rescue Station fire in Railway Tunnel)

  • In this study, the 1/35 reduced-scale model experiment were conducted to investigate designed ventilation effect on the smoke movement at rescue station fire in railway tunnel. A model tunnel with 2 mm thick, 10 m long, 0.19 m high and 0.26 m was made by using Froude number scaling law. The cross-passages installing escape door at the center were connected between incident tunnel and rescue tunnel. The n-heptane pool fires with heat release rate 698.97W were used as fire source. The fire source was located at the center and portal of incident tunnel as worst case. A operating ventilation system extracted smoke amount of 0.015 cms(cubic meters per second). The smoke temperature and CO gas concentration in cross-passage were measured to verify designed ventilation system. The result showed that, at center fire case without ventilation, smoke did not propagate to rescues station. In portal fire case, smoke spreaded to rescues station without ventilation. But smoke did not propagated to rescues station with designed ventilation.

CFAST 와 FLUENT 화재유동해석을 통한 승객피난 시뮬레이션 결과 비교분석 (The Comparative Analysis of Passenger Evacuation Results Using CFAST and FLUENT)

  • 본 연구에서는 실제역사화재 사고인 대구지하철화재사고를 참고하여 화재시뮬레이터의 경계조건으로 시뮬레이션을 수행 하였다. 화재시뮬레이션의 경우는 총 지하 3층의 역사 중 사망자가 가장 많이 발생한 지하3층 역사와 지하2층 대합실까지 모델링하여 시뮬레이션을 실시하였다. 화재시뮬레이터는 CFAST와 FLUENT를 이용하여 수행하였으며, CFAST의 경우는 총 29개의 Zone으로, 지하3층 역사 18개, 지하2층 역사 11개로 나누어 시뮬레이션 하였다. FLUENT의 경우는 총24개의 Zone으로 나누었으며, 지하승강장의 경우는 CFAST의 Zone과 동일하게 설정하였다. 2개의 시뮬레이터에서 나온 결과값들을 비교하여 지하역사 화재시 적용가능성 여부를 연구하였으며, 피난시뮬레이션인 EXODUS를 이용하여 각각의 화재시뮬레이션의 결과를 EXODUS의 HAZARD 경계조건으로 하여 피난 시뮬레이션을 진행 하였다. 화재영향의 적용은 CFAST의 경우 EXODUS로 자동적으로 화재 DATA가 Lode 되는 방식으로 하였으며, FLUENT의 경우는 화재시뮬레이션 OUT DATA값들이 EXODUS와 호환이 어려우므로 직접 결과값들을 수식으로 변환하여 EXODUS HAZARD에 적용하여 승객피난시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 또한 이를 실제 대구지하철화재사고와 비교분석하였다.

대심도 역사의 화재강도에 따른 연기확산 영향 분석 (ANALYSIS OF SMOKE SPREAD EFFECT DUE TO THE FIRE STRENGTH IN UNDERGROUND SUBWAY-STATION)

  • As the number of deeply-underground subway station(DUSS) increases, the safety measures for DUSS have been requested. In this research, Shingumho station (The line # 5, Depth: 46m) has been selected as case-study for the analysis of smoke-spread speed with the different fire strength. Field test data measured for actual fan in DUSS was applied as a condition of a simulation. The whole station was covered in this analysis and total of 4 million grids were generated for this simulation. The fire driven flow was analyzed case by case to compare the smoke-spread effect according to the fire strength. in order to enhance the efficiency of calculation, parallel processing by MPI was employed and large eddy simulation method in FDS code was adopted.

상대식 지하철 역사내 화재시 연기제어에 관한 수치해석적 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Smoke Control in Side-Platform Type Subway Station Fires)

  • In this study, numerical simulations were carried out to analyze the effect of the smoke extraction system and fire shutters in subway station fires using FDS 4.0. Subway station used in the experiment was 205 m long. Simulation results are validated by comparing with experimental results. Simulation results showed good agreement with experimental results within $20\;^{\circ}C$. 20 MW polystyrene was used as a fuel in the numerical prediction. Numerical predictions were performed in the side-platform type subway station in case of a train fire. Temperature and CO concentration were lowered by the operation of smoke extraction system.

Numerical predictions were performed in the center-platform type subway station in case of a kiosk fire. Temperature and CO concentration were lowered by the operation of smoke extraction system. But, the operation of fire shutters had little effect on temperature and CO concentration in the platform level.

  • The purpose of this study is to make sure what the stress causes of women's EMTs within the firehouse are, and is to suggest ideas (plans) that are possible to resolve this problem. The reasons are because of difficulties such as not only the overwork at one's tasks, the uncomfortable working environment and circumstances, women's pregnancy, but also shift work or the shift system. It's own ideas about the way to resolve these difficulties are as follows: a separate operation of first-aid department, environmental improvement within a fire house (fire station) via remodeling, activation of substitute man power, alterating women's EMT services into daywork system, mutual encouragement and solicitude among co-workers, reinforcement of the number of the working force to be mobilized, and adoption about the rest year system in employment.

  • 본 연구에서는 대심도 지하역사에서 화원 위치에 따른 연기거동의 특징을 분석하였다. 전산수치해석에 FDS code가 사용되었다. 화재에 의한 유체거동을 모사하기 위하여 난류모델은 LES를 사용하였으며, 빠른 계산을 수행하기 위하여 병렬수치해석기법을 사용하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 대심도 역사에서 화재시 피난을 저해하는 화원의 위치에 대하여 검토하였다.
