철도사고 위험분류 및 원인분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis and Classification of Types and Causes of Railway Accidents)

  • As a public transportation possible to convey a large quantity, the railway is safe and keeps time, but it has hazards to cause a disaster if the accidents such as collision, derailment, and fire occur. So advanced countries carry out System Safety Plan with various program activities which have connected orders to maintain or improve safety level by finding hazards, evaluation, taking measures and practice, and improving problems. Especially they systematically manage hazards to cause railway accidents and the factors which possibly threat safety, using national classification of risk and causes with analysis of the related data such as establishing accident/incident data and safety regulations/standards. As executing railway safety regulations, domestic railway is currently trying to improve railway safety management system. The research of classification system of accidents/incidents is one thing to make railway safety management systems better. In this research, we reviewed hazardous factors of railway systems and classification of the causes as the beginning of system safety management, and we conducted study on development of railway accident classification based on findings of this research. The results are able to be used in identifying hazards and activities of systemic safety management at the step of railway accident report and investigation.

Neuro-fuzzy network을 이용한 고장 검출 및 판별 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Novel Algorithm for Fault Classification in Transmission Lines using a Combined Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference System)

  • Accurate detection and classification of faults on transmission lines is vitally important. High impedance faults(HIF) in particular pose difficulties for the commonly employed conventional overcurrent and distance relays, and if not detected, can cause damage to expensive equipment, threaten life and cause fire hazards. Although HIFs are far less common than LIFs, it is imperative that any protection device should be able to satisfactorily deal with both HIFs and LIFs. This paper proposes an algorithm for fault detection and classification for both LIFs and HIFs using Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference System(ANFIS). The performance of the proposed algorithm is tested on a typical 154[kV] Korean transmission line system under various fault conditions. Test results show that the ANFIS can detect and classify faults including (LIFs and HIFs) accurately within half a cycle.

위험물의 분류를 위한 MSDS 이용의 적정성 연구 (The Study of the Compatibility of MSDS for the Classification of Flammable Materials)

  • 세계적으로 GHS와 REACH의 도입으로 위험물의 위험성평가를 위한 기존의 MSDS 이용이 증가하여 MSDS의 정확도를 알아보기 위하여 n-Decanol의 인화점을 Tag closed tester, Seta-flash closed tester, Pensky-Martens closed tester, Cleveland open tester 기기를 이용하여 국내와 일본에서 각각 측정하였다. 실험은 국내와 일본에서 각각 다른 제조사에서 구입한 시약으로 인화점을 측정하였으며 인화점 값은 국내와 일본에서 유사한 값을 얻었으나 기존의 MSDS와 문헌의 인화점 값과 비교하여 차이가 크다는 것이 발견되었다. 본 연구에서는 국내와 일본에서 측정된 시험값의 타당성을 제시하고 제조업체가 MSDS를 작성할 시는 신중을 기하여 작성하여야 하며 GHS와 REACH를 위한 위험물분류시는 신뢰성 있는 기관에서 발행한 레포트를 참고로 할 것을 제시하였다.

청각장애인을 위한 웨어러블 기기의 위험소리 검출 엔진 설계 (A Design of Dangerous Sound Detection Engine of Wearable Device for Hearing Impaired Persons)

  • Hearing impaired persons are exposed to the danger since they can't be aware of many dangerous situations like fire alarms, car hones and so on. Therefore they need haptic or visual informations when they meet dangerous situations. In this paper, we design a dangerous sound detection engine for hearing impaired. We consider four dangerous indoor situations such as a boiled sound of kettle, a fire alarm, a door bell and a phone ringing. For outdoor, two dangerous situations such as a car horn and a siren of emergency vehicle are considered. For a test, 6 data sets are collected from those six situations. we extract LPC, LPCC and MFCC as feature vectors from the collected data and compare the vectors for feasibility. Finally we design a matching engine using an artificial neural network and perform classification tests. We perform classification tests for 3 times considering the use outdoors and indoors. The test result shows the feasibility for the dangerous sound detection.

Accuracy of Body Mass Index-defined Obesity Status in US Firefighters

  • Obesity is a significant problem affecting United States (US) firefighters. While body mass index (BMI) is widely used to diagnose obesity, its use for this occupational group has raised concerns about validity. We examined rates and types of misclassification of BMI-based obesity status compared to body fat percentage (BF%) and waist circumference (WC). Male career firefighters (N = 994) from 20 US departments completed all three body composition assessments. Mean BMI, BF%, and WC were $29kg/m^2$, 23%, and 97 cm, respectively. Approximately 33% and 15% of BF%- and WC-defined obese participants were misclassified as non-obese (false negatives) using BMI, while 8% and 9% of non-obese participants defined by BF% and WC standards were identified as obese (false positives) using BMI. When stratified by race/ethnicity, Pacific Islanders showed high rates of false positive misclassification. Precision in obesity classification would be improved by using WC along with BMI to determine firefighters' weight status.

耳鳴의 原因別 分類 및 治法에 關한 文獻的 考察 (Literatural Consideration on the Classification of cause and Treatment of Tinnitus)

  • I have been studied the tinnitus. The results are summarized as follows. 1. The etiologies of tinnitus is classified the Zang fa endogenous factors of the Jong-Maek-Hae and exogenous factors of the Oun-Gi, in the Nei Ching. 2. In the endogenous factors the etiologies of the Zang fa is mostly hased deficiency of the kidney, which is concerned with Sim-Hae Gan-Darn-Hae and Bi-Wae-Hae, the etiologies of the phlegm fire is fire is divided into Sin-Hae, Om-Ju-Hu-Mi and No-Gi-Oaek-Sang. 3. The etiologies of the Jong-Maek-Hae is divided into deficiency of the stomach xu of both gi am blood and xu of the kidney. 4. In Nei ching,the etiologies of Oun-Gi divided into Gul-Eum-Pung-Mok and So-Yang-Sang-Hwa of the exgeous factors is regarded to wind and fire as following generations is regrded to wind the endogenous factors caused Sin-Hae Gi-Hae. 5. In the Nei ching, Since the O-Mi-Bo-Sa-Bub is uttered main treated of tinnitus is friquently used Bo-Sin Young-Sim-Sun-Gi and Choung-Gan-Sul- You1 as Zang-Fu Choung-Dam-Gang-Hwa as the Phlegm fire Bo-bi-Sin as the Jong Maek Hae and Gye-Pung-San-Hwa as the Oun-Gi.

사양위주 스프링클러설비 설계의 압력과 유량의 문제점에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Problem of Pressure and Flow Rate by Prescriptive Code Based Design of Fire Sprinkler System)

  • 스프링클러설비의 화재안전기준인 NFSC103은 설계면적 내의 모든 헤드로부터 방출압 1 bar이상과 방출량 80 lpm 이상을 최소기준으로 규정하고 있다. NFSC103은 또한 설치장소의 용도에 따라 설계면적에서 작동하는 헤드의 수를 10개, 20개, 30개로 규정하고 각 헤드별 유량을 80 lpm으로 하여 총유량을 800 lpm, 1,600 lpm, 2,400 lpm으로 규정하고 있다. 이 규정대로 스프링클러 설비를 설계하면 약 50 %의 스프링클러헤드에서 유량과 압력이 최소기준보다 부족하게 된다. 이는 스프링클러의 목적인 초기화재 대응에 실패를 가져오는 심각한 결과를 초래할 수 있다. 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해서는 성능위주 설계인 수리계산방법에 의해 모든 스프링클러설계가 이루어지는 것이 바람직하다.

공간분석·데이터마이닝 융합방법론을 통한 산업안전 취약지 등급화 방안 (Industrial Safety Risk Analysis Using Spatial Analytics and Data Mining)

  • The mortality rate in industrial accidents in South Korea was 11 per 100,000 workers in 2015. It's five times higher than the OECD average. Economic losses due to industrial accidents continue to grow, reaching 19 trillion won much more than natural disaster losses equivalent to 1.1 trillion won. It requires fundamental changes according to industrial safety management. In this study, We classified the risk of accidents in industrial complex of Ulju-gun using spatial analytics and data mining. We collected 119 data on accident data, factory characteristics data, company information such as sales amount, capital stock, building information, weather information, official land price, etc. Through the pre-processing and data convergence process, the analysis dataset was constructed. Then we conducted geographically weighted regression with spatial factors affecting fire incidents and calculated the risk of fire accidents with analytical model for combining Boosting and CART (Classification and Regression Tree). We drew the main factors that affect the fire accident. The drawn main factors are deterioration of buildings, capital stock, employee number, officially assessed land price and height of building. Finally the predicted accident rates were divided into four class (risk category-alert, hazard, caution, and attention) with Jenks Natural Breaks Classification. It is divided by seeking to minimize each class's average deviation from the class mean, while maximizing each class's deviation from the means of the other groups. As the analysis results were also visualized on maps, the danger zone can be intuitively checked. It is judged to be available in different policy decisions for different types, such as those used by different types of risk ratings.

산화성고체의 위험성평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Assessment of Hazardous Properties of the Oxidizing Solids)

  • 최근 급속히 발전하고 있는 과학기술과 산업발달에 따라 화학물질, 위험물의 사용, 저장 및 운송물이 날로 증가하고 있다. 이러한 물질들은 우리의 일상생활과 인류문화 발전에 크게 기여하고 있지만 인화성, 폭발성 등의 잠재위험성을 가지고 있다. 세계 각국은 물질의 분류와 표시가 달라 국제무역에서 많은 사고가 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 이 연구의 목적은 위험물에 대한 국제적인 시험방법을 개발하는 것이며 시험데이터를 기준으로 선택가능방식(Building Block Approach)으로 분류하고자 한다. 국내 위험물안전관리법에서는 위험물을 산화성고체, 가연성고체, 자연발화성물질 및 금수성물질, 인화성액체, 자기반응성물질, 산화성액체로 분류하고 있다. 1차적으로 산화성고체 35종에 대하여 위험물안전관리법에 의한 시험방법, UN시험방법으로 시험한 데이터를 비교하여 이들의 연관성을 도출하고, 국제적으로 분류하여 국내실정에 적합한 산화성고체 시험방법을 제시하였다.

인화성액체 취급 연구실의 폭발위험장소 구분에 관한 기준 적용 연구 (A Study on the Application of Criteria for the Classification of Explosive Hazardous Areas in Flammable Liquid Handling Laboratories)

  • 화학 산업의 발전에 따라 관련 사고가 빈번하게 발생하고 있으며 그 가운데 화재·폭발 사고가 큰 비중을 차지하고 있다. 화재 · 폭발 사고를 방지하기 위해 인화성액체를 취급하는 장소 등은 관련 법령에 근거하여 한국산업표준(KS C IEC60079-10-1)에 따라 폭발위험장소를 구분하도록 하고 있다. 이는 인화성액체를 취급하는 연구실에도 동일하게 적용된다. 본 논문에서는 연구실에서 인화성액체가 누출되어 증발 풀(pool)을 형성하는 경우 한국산업표준에 따른 폭발위험장소 구분 절차의 적용성과 환기속도의 변화가 누출특성에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 이를 통해 연구실과 같은 장소는 한국산업표준에 따른 폭발위험장소 구분에 대한 기준적용이 어려우며, 별도의 안전대책이 마련되어야 함을 알 수 있었다.
