  • In these days, world economic crisis is getting worse and most of us are having difficulties in handling financial balance. By noticing that credit card is the most important payment method of individuals, we developed e-receipt system, which helps a person easily keep track of credit card spendings by showing purchase and transaction details in real-time. We've used embedded software engineering techniques in developing the e-receipt system. The system we developed here will benefit most of us by preventing over-spending of credit cards and will lead to healthy spending habits.

  • In the later quarter of the twentieth century, the need for foreign capital is realized among the various countries of the world. Developing countries especially developed multi-pronged strategies to attract foreign capital into the country. One such strategy is the adoption of liberalization policy. Almost all the developing countries started opening their economy, out of the compulsion, to achieve faster rate of economic growth and development. Even a communist country like China adopted liberalization policy as a strategy for accelerated economic growth during 1979. India also joined the race by 1991, when the government announced the policy of liberalization. The importance of FDI extends beyond the financial capital that flows into the country. The huge size of the market in this sector and high returns on investment are two important factors in boosting FDI inflows to power sector. 100 percent FDI is allowed under automatic route in almost all the sub sectors of power sector except the atomic energy. Major foreign investment is made in this sector during 2000 to 2009 is Mauritius with an investment of US$ 4490.96 i.e., 4.24 percent of the total FDI inflows into the country during the period. The estimation of future FDI flow shows a marginal decline in the year 2010. Then from 2011 to 2015 onwards upward trend of FDI was observed.

  • Rapid expansion has taken place in development of cooperative arrangements among libraries, in computerization, mechanization, and centralization of library services; in sizes of collections; and in the variety of services offered by libraries. These increasing complexities of library organizational arrangements and expansions in activities and services make it all the more important for libraries to define their objectives clearly and to have methods for measuring the level of attainment of these objectives. Libraries, as all other institutions and organizations, are faced with the economic problem of allocating their limited resources in such a manner as to generate maximum benefits and calculating the costs of a library. Furthermore, they should be able to measure their performance or degree of achievement of objectives. In order to it, it is essential to set a standard and review the time and motion study. This study is an attempt to build a general standard applicable to Korean university libraries to provide a persuasive basis to university library administrators in their work management: The usefulness of this study are given below. (1) It helps to balance available resources with estimated workload. (2) It helps in managing a library more efficiency and more economically (3) It helps in objective evaluation of individual employee performance and in evaluation of the organization as a whole. (4) It helps the librarian plan for financial and personnel needs on the basis of sound production figures.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of patient perception of the switching cost and negative word of mouth on revisit intention of patients in out-patient departments (OPDs) of general hospitals. Method: The participants were 306 patients in general hospital, selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Spearman correlation coefficient, and logistic regression with SPSS Win. Results: Relational switching cost was positively correlated with revisit intention (r=.58, p=<.001), but not financial switching cost or procedural switching cost. Negative word of mouth was negatively correlated with revisit intention (r=-.22, p=<.001). The significant predictors influencing revisit intention in patients was relational switching cost. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that hospital and nursing managers should seek to bolster perceptions of switching costs and negative word of mouth, which subsequently increases revisit intentions in small hospitals located in the country as well as urban large hospitals.

  • This study focuses on the regeneration of multi-dwelling residential estates located already in built-up areas. This study focuses on policy measures and surveys of remodeling and analyses the likelihood of remodeling and prospect of it. These major findings were diseased: First, people have changed their propensity about renewing their residences from reconstruction to remodeling. This would account for the likelihood of remodeling and its popularity. Second, unlike the stronger demand for remodeling, over half of people respond express that they are reluctant to pay the costs involved in renewing the public spaces of their apartment complexes. This argues that it would be necessary to review policy measures in other countries. Reducing financial burdens of those who are willing to remodel their residents and to trigger their participations. In addition, the costs should be saved from the outset of constructing new buildings. With the suggestions drawn in this study, the remodeling should be regarded as a considerable measure to renew the residential areas, especially where the area is already built-up and the development density is severely limited.

  • The aim of the present study was to compare child care center directors and teachers' recognition of criteria for class placements, specifically for children who were born in January or February, children's ability, and for mixed-age classes. The subjects were 398 center directors and 383 teachers in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Jeolla-do, Gangwon-do, Choongcheong-do and Gyeongsang-do. Data were analyzed by SPSS 12.0 and the t-test and Chi-square test were used. The results were as follows: (1) Most child care center directors and teachers believed that children born in January or February should share a classroom with classmates of the same age. (2) Most child care center directors and teachers believed that regardless of a child's ability, it was desirable for the child to be in a class with classmates of the same age. (3) Child care center directors thought that the current criteria for teacher-child ratios within a mixed-age classroom were acceptable but should be lowered if the child care center was not experiencing financial problems. Meanwhile, most of the teachers thought that lower teacher-child ratios within a mixed-age classroom was desirable.

  • Recently, the frequency of dealing important information regarding financial services like paying through smart device or internet banking on smart device has been increasing. Also, with the development of smart device execution environment towards open software environment, it became easier for users to download and use random application software, and its security aspect appears to be weakening. This study will inspect features of hardware-based smart device security technology. Furthermore, this study will propose a realization method in MTM hardware-based secure smart device execution environment for application software runs that in smart device.

  • This paper deals with inspect algorithm using visual system. One of the major problems that arise during polymer production is the estimation of the noise of the color product.(bad pallets) An erroneous output can cause a lot of losses (production and financial losses). Therefore new methods for real-time inspection of the noise are demanded. For this reason, we have presented a development of vision system algorithm for the defect inspection of PE color pallets. First of all, in order to detect the edge of object, the differential filter is used. And we apply to the labelling algorithm for feature extraction. This algorithm is designed for the defect inspection of pallets. The labelling algorithm permits to separate all of the connected components appearing on the pallets. Labelling the connected regions of a image is a fundamental computation in image analysis and machine vision, with a large number of application. Also, we suggested vision processing program in window environment. Simulations and experimental results demonstrate the performance of the proposal algorithm.

  • Recently, Fintech, a technology that was created as a result of mixture of finance and IT technology, has become a big issue with the development of IT technology and widespread of smartphone usage. Although a continuous research to let new mobile banking payment system to settle in the domestic market is necessary, the research available is inadequate in the status quo. Trust, which is lacking at the moment, is regarded the most important factor in mobile banking payment system. This study, therefore, investigate into factors that building trust that effects people's usage of mobile financial payment systems.

  • With the rapid development of mobile technology the use of smartphone is spreading. In order to activate mobile banking and market in the future, the most important key is a secure financial transactoin. However, because many apps are developed without security check in proportional to the spread of smartphone, security threat is inevitably high. Current smartphone banking is processed as the way of the existing public certificate or OTP technique in the mobile environment, but many security hole about current technology is pointed out steadily. Therefore, in this paper we are to improve a existing security hole by reinforcing the security through multi-factor authentication and providing a physical non-repudiation.
