Vocabulary learning plays an important role in language learning. This study explored a new paradigm based on social networking site (SNS) supported collaborative learning for vocabulary learning. SNS supported collaborative learning (SSCL) can effectively promote learners' engagement, interest and motivation by providing a more communicative and interactive environment. However, vocabulary learning studies on SSCL mainly focused on the effectiveness and influencing factors, lacking specific instructional strategies. Therefore, this study aims to develop instructional strategies that guide instructors to create an SSCL environment for facilitating vocabulary learning. The final instructional strategies are composed of three stages according to the course process, consisting of 8 general strategies and 21 specific guidelines. The content validity was ensured by four experts in the field of educational technology. The instructional strategies were then applied in an actual classroom with 16 students. The positive responses from the instructor and learners indicated that SSCL can be reasonably incorporated into the current curriculum to provide effective learning opportunities and to promote learners' vocabulary learning.

It is necessary to produce properly educated Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) specialists conducted by certified instructors. This study was conducted to introduce a comprehensive understanding, application, historical background, and effect of the MLD and to present a basis for using the frequency MLD as a basic resource for training professional. MLD, a field of manual therapy, is used to treat a variety of diseases such as joint disease, circulatory system disease, lymphedema, and pain et al. However, since there is no proper education for MLD in Korea, there is a need to provide education that meets internationally accepted standards. The Physical Therapists Association and related academic societies will need to prepare a system to train specialists on MLD and to recognize medical insurance through it.

The purpose of this study was to design an inquiry supporting tool on wiki based collaborative learning and to investigate the effect of the inquiry supporting tool. Eight design principles were selected and more specified design strategies were made from the literatures. The first system with the first-round design principles was developed and implemented in an actual classroom. After the first field study, researcher found a few drawbacks of the system. The second system was implemented in the classroom again. Finally developed wiki-based inquiry supporting tool system is unique in that it allows instructors to design their own CSCL inquiry activities, and it has intuitive menu tabs showing inquiry learning processes.

Having a firm grasp of technical terms is essential for learners of Japanese for Specific Purposes (JSP). This research aims to analyze Japanese nursing care vocabulary based on objective corpus-based frequency and subjectively rated word familiarity. For this purpose, we constructed a text corpus centered on the National Examination for Certified Care Workers to extract nursing care keywords. The Log-Likelihood Ratio (LLR) was used as the statistical criterion for keyword identification, giving a list of 300 keywords as target words for a further word recognition survey. The survey involved 115 participants of whom 51 were certified care workers (CW group) and 64 were individuals from the general public (GP group). These participants rated the familiarity of the target keywords through crowdsourcing. Given the limited sample size, Bayesian linear mixed models were utilized to determine word familiarity rates. Our study conducted a comparative analysis of word familiarity between the CW group and the GP group, revealing key terms that are crucial for professionals but potentially unfamiliar to the general public. By focusing on these terms, instructors can bridge the knowledge gap more efficiently.

Health systems science is a new medical educational field added to the traditional medical education curricula of basic and clinical sciences. Health systems science emphasizes a more comprehensive approach utilizing systems thinking to care for patients, including interactions between multiple healthcare systems. In this review, I explore how health systems science education can be applied when medical instructors teach students in clinical clerkships through representative case studies. This study first looks at examples of health systems science education in clinical clerkship in the United States and suggests how to develop the curriculum of health systems science for clinical learning environments in Korea by combining Kotter's 8-step change management model and Kern's 6-step curriculum development model. Finally, based on practical examples from actual clinical practice education situations, suggestions are made regarding how to develop the entire educational program of a medical school from the stage of applying health systems science at the individual level to clinical practice education.

본 연구는 사이버 대학의 출범과 함께 원격 강의가 활성화되고 있는 현 시점에서 원격 강의에 대군 국내외 문헌들을 고찰하고 이를 종합, 분석하여 효율적인 원격 강의 컨텐츠 제작을 위한 고려사항들을 제시하였다. 디자인 분야에서의 원격 강의 컨텐츠 제작을 위한 고려사항들을 제안하기 위해 일반적인 고려사항뿐 아니라 원활한 커뮤니케이션이 요구되는 디자인 분야의 특성과 디자인 전공 학생들이 갖고 있는 성향 등을 고려하였다. 연구내용은 1)원격 강의 컨텐츠 개발에 관한 연구, 2) 디자인 분야에서 인터넷을 이용한 커뮤니케이션에 관한 연구, 3) 디자인 전공 학생들의 학습 유형에 관한 부분으로 나누어 고찰되었으며, 이를 종합, 분석하여 디자인 분야의 원격강의 컨텐츠 개발에 있어서의 고려사항을 제안하였다. 연구 결과 디자인 분야의 원격강의 컨텐츠 개발시 고려 사항은 강의 내용, 상호호환성, 프레젠테이션 요소, 평가 요소, 그리고 기타 제반 사항 등으로 종합해 볼 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 디자인 분야에서 원격 강의 컨텐츠를 작성하고자 하는 교수나 관련자에게 유용한 체크리스트로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

본 연구는 국내 문헌정보학과 대학에서 수행되는 어린이청소년 문학 교육의 현황을 알아보고 개선 방안을 제시하기 위해 문헌정보학과의 학부와 대학원에 개설된 어린이청소년 문학 관련 교과목의 현황을 파악하고, 국내 대학 문헌정보학과에서 어린이청소년 문학 관련 교과목을 강의한 경험이 있는 교수자들을 대상으로 심층 면담과 설문조사를 진행하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 국내 문헌정보학과 대학 학부 과정에서는 평균 1.7개의 어린이청소년 문학 관련 교과목이 개설되어 있는데, 개설 과목이 1개 이하인 학교가 전체 대학의 36%이며, 학부와 대학원 모두 개설 과목이 대체로 '독서지도론'에 편중되어 있었다. 설문 응답자 29명 중 자신이 담당하는 어린이청소년 문학 관련 교과목에서 '어린이청소년 문학'에 관한 내용을 가르친다고 응답한 이는 24명(83%) 이었다. 교수자들이 수업에서 가장 많은 시간을 할애하는 장르는 그림책이었으며, 적은 시간을 할애하는 장르는 SF, 판타지, 만화 등 다양했다. 상대적으로 소홀한 장르가 있을 수밖에 없는 가장 큰 이유는 수업 시간이 부족하다는 것이었다. 부족한 수업 시간은 어린이청소년 문학을 가르치며 느끼는 가장 큰 어려움으로 지적되기도 했다. 설문 응답자 중에는 스스로 어린이청소년 문학에 대한 이해 역량을 갖고 있으면서도 어린이청소년 문학의 전문가가 아니라고 생각하는 이들이 일부 존재했는데, 면담 대상자들은 어린이청소년 문학과 관련한 문헌정보학 전공자의 강점을 스스로 인정하지 못하는 분위기를 안타까워했다. 면담 대상자 모두와 일부 설문 응답자들은 문헌정보학과에서의 어린이청소년 문학 교육이 현장 중심이어야 한다고 주장했다. 교수자들은 토론, 스토리텔링 실습, 리뷰 작성 등 다양한 교수 방법을 활용하여 학생들이 졸업 후 실제 도서관에서 어린이청소년 서비스를 제공할 때 도움이 되는 지식을 습득할 수 있게 하기 위해 노력하고 있었다.

Distance Learning Education has been adopted as an alternative educational method to actively face the changing educational field. Fashion design education essentially requires not only a theoretical but also a practical process in which feedback comes through personal interactions between an instructor and a student. Hence, the existing WBI system exemplifies its limitations by applying only a one-way methodology that limit interactions based only on the theoretical texts. The objective of this study was to reveal the effects of an originally designed Distance Education program factoring in a teaching-learning methodology that addresses the practical demands of a fashion design program. So It analyzed the pre-existing conditions through a questionnaire survey of 472 students and 60 fashion design instructors to determine how the traditional fashion design education is different from other programs and which method is being applied. then, It designed and applied an original web-based distance educational system specifically incorporating the needs of the fashion design curriculum based on the data collected from the survey questionnaire.

교육현장에서 교수가 학생을 지도하기 위해서는 학생의 기본 정보와 강의 정보가 필요하다. 현재 교수들이 학생을 지도하기 위한 교무수첩은 비 전자식과 전자식을 모두 사용하고 있다. 전자식 교무수첩은 데스크 탑 PC에서 구동되기 때문에 휴대할 수 없어 활용도가 매우 적다. 그리고 모바일용은 플랫폼별로 구동방식이 다르기 때문에 추가비용과 별도의 교육을 받아야 사용할 수 있다. 그렇기 때문에 비이동식과 모바일용 시스템으로 학생지도를 관리하는 것은 매우 비효율적 이다. 본 논문에서는 교수들이 개인 스마트 기기로 언제 어디서든 학생들의 정보를 손쉽게 확인 하여 지도를 원활히 수행할 수 있는 스마트수첩 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

This paper was analyzed the politeness and the expression of ending sentence in family conversations in the virtual language of cartoon characters. Younger speakers have a tendency to unite sentence-final particle to the polite form, older speakers have a tendency to unite it to the plain form in the historical genre. But younger speakers and older speakers unite sentence-final particle to the plain form in other fiction genres. Using terms of respect is determined by circumstances and charactonym. Comparing the translation of conversations with the original, there were the different aspects of translated works. When Japanese instructors are used to study Japanese as the instructional media, they give a supplementary explanation to students. 'WA' 'KASIRA' that a female speaker usually uses are used by a male speaker, 'ZO' 'ZE' that a male speaker usually uses are used by a female speaker in the virtual language of cartoons. In the field of the translation, it is translated 'KANA' 'KASIRA' into 'KA?', 'WA' 'ZO' 'ZE' into 'A(EO)?', 'WAYO' 'ZEYO' into AYO(EOYO)'. When we use sentence-final particle in the virtual language of cartoon, we need to supply supplementary explanations and further examinations.
