  • 천연염료는 합성염료에 비해 고급스럽고 자연스러운 색상을 연출할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 여러 가지 기능성이 있어서 최근 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 추출, 보관에의 어려움과 각종 견뢰도, 특히 일광견뢰도가 낮은 단점을 가지고 있다. 황색을 발현하는 대표적인 염재인 황련과 황백의 경우에도 항균, 방취성 등의 장점이 있으나 일광 견뢰도가 낮아 과거에는 임산부용 속옷이나 유아용 기저귀감 등 일광에의 영향을 많이 받지 않는 용도로 이용되었으며, 현재는 일부 기능 전수자에 의해 전통염색이 명맥을 잇고 있을 뿐이다. (중략)

  • In this paper, it is analysed the spectrum of optical fiber output through a sunlight collector system. Also the lighting environments under the optical fiber bundles are predicted when applied to interior lighting by using a simulation program. As the result its feasibility as an interior lighting source shows any serious problem except the system cost.

Boundary element analysis of singular thermal stresses in a unidirectional laminate

  • The residual thermal stresses at the interface corner between the elastic fiber and the viscoelastic matrix of a two-dimensional unidirectional laminate due to cooling from cure temperature down to room temperature were studied. The matrix material was assumed to be thermorheologically simple. The time-domain boundary element method was employed to investigate the nature of stresses on the interface. Numerical results show that very large stress gradients are present at the interface corner and this stress singularity might lead to local yielding or fiber-matrix debonding.

  • In the present paper, the flow distribution in the hot air drying chamber of a sizing machine was numerically analyzed with respect to the geometries of the intake duct to obtain the more uniform flow distribution in the chamber. The result shows that the velocity distribution in the inlet of the chamber was significantly dependent on the the geometry of the intake duct. The degree of the non-uniformity in the chamber was reduced as the incident angle of the intake duct became to be smaller.

  • Since stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) impact wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) optical transmission systems, it is important to understand the implication of SBS in the design of such lightwave systems. Therefore, Brillouin gain spectrum (BGS) is measured to characterize the effect of SBS in optical fiber. The Brillouin gain coefficient is found to vary as the wavelength and linewidth of source. Theoretically measurement of BGS shows a dependence on wavelength(λ) and on linewidth(Δν), respectively.

  • Leakage in the structure due to the irregular flow of groundwater in the underground structure penetrates into internal spaces such as underground parking lots and basement through underground walls, which is expensive in terms of maintenance of the building. In this study, various composite waterproofing methods installed on the outer walls of underground structures were selected to evaluate the structural performance of composite specimens due to bending behavior through experiments and analysis on bending test behavior on concrete attachment surfaces.
