This paper presents multibit Sigma-Delta ADC using Leslie-Singh Structure to Improve nonlinearity of feedback loop. 4-bit flash ADC for multibit Quantization in Sigma Delta modulator offers the following advantages such as lower quantization noise, more accurate white-noise level and more stability over single quantization. For the feedback paths consisting of DAC, the DAC element should have a high matching requirement in order to maintain the linearity performance which can be obtained by the modulator with a multibit quantizer. Thus a Sigma-Delta ADC usually adds the dynamic element matching digital circuit within feedback loop. It occurs complexity of Sigma-Delta Circuit and increase of power dissipation. In this paper using the Leslie-Singh Structure for improving nonliearity of ADC. This structure operate at low oversampling ratio but is difficult to achieve high resolution. So in this paper propose improving loop filter for single-bit feedback multi-bit quantization Sigma-Delta ADC. It obtained 94.3dB signal to noise ratio over 615kHz bandwidth, and 62mW power dissipation at a sampling frequency of 19.6MHz. This Sigma Delta ADC is fabricated in 0.25um CMOS technology with 2.5V supply voltage.
To implement high-order multiuser multiple input and multiple output (MU-MIMO) for massive MIMO systems, there must be a feedback scheme that can warrant its performance with a limited signaling overhead. The interference-to-noise ratio can be a basis for a novel form of Codebook (CB)-based MU-MIMO feedback scheme. The objective of this paper is to verify such a scheme's performance under a practical system configuration with a 3D channel model in various radio environments. We evaluate the performance of various CB-based feedback schemes with different types of overhead reduction approaches, providing an experimental ground with which to optimize a CB-based MU-MIMO feedback scheme while identifying the design constraints for a massive MIMO system.

The adaptive filter is proposed for removing EOG from measured EEG on the frontal lobe. The proposed adaptive filter has been implemented and the feedback output control algorithm has been employed to control the alpha wave ratio on the basis of TMS320C31 DSP board with the on-line and real time performance. The feedback algorithm controls the input voltage of stimulating devices on the portable bio-feedback system. The EEG data are acquired at the $F_{p1}$ and $F_{p2}$ localization and are processed by the proposed adaptive filter. We demonstrated that the proposed adaptive filter could effectively remove EOG from the measured EEG on the frontal lobe and the feedback algorithm is proper to control the output voltage of DSP board using the ratio of the alpha wave.
In this paper, a multi-adaptive filter is proposed for removing EOG and the 60 Hz power supply noise from EEG measured in the frontal lobe and the feedback output control method is implemented for biofeedback. The multi-adaptive filter has been implemented on the TMS320C6711 DSP system and the feedback output control algorithm has been realized by calculating the ratio of alpha wave on the TMS320C31 DSP system with real time performance. Through the experiment using the implemented multi-adaptive filter and feedback output controller, we demonstrate that the proposed adaptive filter effectively removes EOG and the 60 Hz power supply noise from the measured EEG in the frontal lobe and the feedback algorithm controls the level of stimulation by the ratio of the alpha wave.

PURPOSE: The present study examines how feedback respiratory exercise affects gait performance of stroke patients. METHODS: Forty stroke patients were randomly divided into an experiment group and a control group. For the former group, patients went through a half-hour of training therapy and a half-hour of feedback respiratory device exercise. For the latter group, patients went through 30 minutes of training therapy and a half-hour of motomed exercise. All participants had five training sessions each week for four weeks. For measurement, a GAITRite system was used to examine spatial parameters, and functional ambulation performance before and after the training. RESULT: In terms of spatial parameters, double support ratio, stance phase increased significantly in the experiment group after the walking exercise(p<.05). FAP rose more significantly in the experiment group than in the control group(p<.05). In comparison of two exercise groups, double support ratio, Stance phase, gait velocity, FAP was significant difference(p<.05). CONCLUSION: The experiment results showed that feedback respiratory exercise is effective in enhancing gait performance.

This paper reports a filtered velocity feedback(FVF) controller, which is an alternative to direct velocity feedback(DVFB) controller. The instability problems due to high frequency response under DVFB can be alleviated by the suggested FVF controller. The FVF controller is designed to filter out the unstable high frequency response. The FVF controller and the dynamics of clamped beams under forces and moments are first formulated. The effects of the design parameters(cut-off frequency, gain, and damping ratio) on the stability and the performance are then investigated. The cut-off frequency should be selected not to affect the system stability. The magnitude of the open loop transfer function(OLTF) at the cut-off frequency should be small. As increasing the gain of the FVF controller, the magnitude of the OLTF is increased, so that the closed loop response can be reduced more. The enhancement of the OLTF at the cut-off frequency is reduced but the phase behavior around the cut-off frequency is distorted, as the damping ratio is increased. The control performance is finally estimated for the clamped beam. More than 10 dB reductions in velocity response can be achieved at the modal frequencies from the first to eighth modes.

This paper investigated the effect of right half plane zero on the transient response in the buck-boost DC-DC converter. And it is clarified that the damping ratio decreases gradually by increases of the feedback loop gain and the regulation system of the converter becomes unstable. From the result, we obtained the stability region about the duty ratio and the output current by evaluating the feedback loop gain.

The formation of spontaneous transverse optical patterns was investigated in a single feedback mirror system using nematic liquid crystals as nonlinear optical media. By varying the size of an input beam and the feedback distance, we obtained various interesting transverse optical patterns as well as the hexagonal pattern which are predicted theoretically assuming plane wave input. We can explain theoretically these characteristics of various pattern by introducing a ratio of the beam half width and spatial wavelength of the patterns. We have observed that as this ratio increased, the number of spot constituting the patterns also increased. Finally the patte군 evolved into the sucessive hexagon in the transverse plane.
This paper features about the modeling and design of a fast output sampling feedback controller for a smart Timoshenko beam system for a SISO case by considering the first 3 vibratory modes. The beam structure is modeled in state space form using FEM technique and the Timoshenko beam theory by dividing the beam into 4 finite elements and placing the piezoelectric sensor/actuator at one location as a collocated pair, i.e., as surface mounted sensor/actuator, say, at FE position 2. State space models are developed for various aspect ratios by considering the shear effects and the axial displacements. The effects of changing the aspect ratio on the master structure is observed and the performance of the designed FOS controller on the beam system is evaluated for vibration control.
