The purpose of this study is to promote the artistic value and formative aesthetic of clothes in daily life through a proposal of inventive fashion design by utilizing Depaysement of Surrealism, which visualizes a more realistically and more specifically than fact in illogical and unfamiliar situation, Focused on details of Korean traditional costume silhouette. The method of this study, the literature and existing researches related to Depaysement were analyzed through theoretical review for establish the expressive techniques of Depaysement expressed in contemporary fashion. Conclusions from this study are as follows: first, the expressive techniques of Depaysement are derived that are 'change of scale', 'change of materials', 'combination of heterogeneous objects', 'arrangement of object in a strange space', 'overlapped object', 'paradoxical image', 'variable awareness of boundary.' Second, expressive techniques of Depaysement present a new methodology which can express an irrational thinking, which is not controled by reason such as unconsciousness, dream, and fantasy etc, in a way that is easier and more realistic rather than thinking centered on an art which is ruled by consciousness. Third, unique and free-form fashion design, which destroys a general idea, was could develop by using abundant materials and composing items borrowed various silhouette for expressive the techniques of Depaysement. Forth, Through this study, the concept of Korean fashion design, that was limited by the standard form when we approach Korean fashion design as identity of social culture, ideology of reflection and expression, object of commercial expression, was could think outside of the box.

The purpose of this study is to understand the present status of the international textile fashion conventions and the Korean textile fashion conventions in order to secure competitiveness in the textile fashion industry and to discover the satisfaction of the convention and to develop an improvement plan of the current textile and fashion conventions in Korea. For the method of study, five representative conventions of domestic and foreign textiles and fashion were selected and case analyses were conducted focusing on relevant reports. Also, the satisfaction and improvement of the conventions for companies, buyers and visitors attending the Preview in Seoul(PIS) convention were surveyed. The first result of the study was that international textile and fashion conventions have clarified their identity according to changes in the market environment and buyer's interest. For example, the professional exhibition changed the nature of the comprehensive convention or made it easier for many related businesses and buyers to attend the convention by sharing the same convention period and location with other conventions. In addition, the convention hall has been constructed to display promising items, such as eco-friendly materials and smart materials. Second, participating companies, buyers and visitors of the Preview in Seoul (PIS) convention were generally satisfied with the convention, but were aware of the need for change. In particular, the satisfaction level with the number and level of new buyers at home and abroad, the number of counseling sessions and the quality level were also found to be low.
Eco-friendly consumption is a prominent trend in the fashion industry, by which many firms attract the interest of consumers using a green marketing strategy. However, "greenwashing" (caused by distorted, exaggerated, and false information) gives rise to consumer confusion. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of consumer confusion and value on price sensitivity and purchase intention. Data was collected from 228 respondents using a questionnaire that was distributed to consumers living in Seoul and Kyunggi, South Korea. The data was analyzed by factor analysis, regression analysis, and Cronbach's alpha using SPSS 23.0. The results were as follows: First, factor analysis showed the consumer value variable was significantly categorized in altruistic and self-expressive values. All variables (altruism, selfexpression, consumer confusion, price sensitivity, and purchase intention) were shown to have significantly good internal validity. Second, altruistic consumer value was shown to positively affect the purchase intention of eco-friendly fashion products, but self-expressive consumer value had no significant effect. Third, consumer confusion on eco-friendly fashion products had a negative effect on purchase intention. Fourth, altruistic and self-expressive consumer values had no effect on price sensitivity. Fifth, consumer confusion on eco-friendly fashion products positively affect price sensitivity. Sixth, price sensitivity on eco-friendly fashion products had a negative effect on purchase intention. Therefore, fashion firms should provide a certified green mark to consumers to eliminate confusion and deliver the right message without greenwashing. Moreover, fashion firms should develop green marketing strategies that are more focused on altruistic consumers.
This study examines the measures and implementation strategies needed to develop sustainable design from an international perspective, using examples of sustainability practices and product planning from Helen Kaminski, a representative fashion brand of positive luxury. The research method includes a literature study on positive luxury, a case study on positive luxury brands, and an empirical study where the researcher participated in the development of Helen Kaminski's design. The study identifies the following measures needed to develop designs for sustainable products: First, the development of designs that increase circularity; Second, the use of certified materials and strict adherence to material usage; Third, the simplification of production methods or development of new technologies for this purpose; Fourth, ensuring that design development incorporate the traditions and unique handicraft techniques of the local community. The implementation strategies required for a sustainable product planning process are as follows. First, changes in the product planning stage and expansion of participating members are needed. Second, securing and conducting prior inspections of the supply chain for ethical sourcing is required. Third, prioritizing the use of eco-friendly materials and material development. Fourth, establishing a stage for selecting and evaluating objects that will become representative designs with sustainability. As a result, this study can serve as basic data to strengthen corporate competitiveness and establish itself as a fashion brand for sustainability through actionable strategies applicable to the domestic fashion industry in the future.
This research reviewed the developmental process of domestic outdoor wear and later analyzed the images given out by men's outdoor wear. The research results are as follows. First, military supplies left by American soldiers were dyed or reformed and then worn, and daily wear were mainly worn in the 1960s. Wears made from light and waterproof materials were worn and equipments were used in the 1970s. High functioning materials which allowed simultaneous breathability, waterproof and thermal insulation functions were used for wears in the 1980s. For the jacket especially, functionality was enhanced sith zippers, snaps and velcro to prevent cold air penetration in the 1990s. Florescent piping decorations and logo decorations, and prints and colors which reflected the trend, were used to emphasize fashionity and decorativeness in the 2000s. Second, Sophisticated image emphasized urban feeling with toned-down windbreaker jackets without much detail, with down jacket and pants. Casual image expressed a relaxed feeling with windbreaker jacket, shirts, jumper, vest and pants made of cotton, mesh knit and denim. Active image emphasized functionality by brightly colored windbreaker jackets, down jacket and pants. Ethnic image expressed an exotic mood with windbreaker jackets with stylized prints, with jumper, down jacket and pants. Military image showed a strong masculine feeling with jackets adorned with epaulettes, khaki colors and camouflage prints, with jumper, T-shirts, vest, shorts and pants. Avantgarde image exuded an experimental and unique feeling with jackets made of various colors and materials, such as cotton, jersey and glossy materials, with down jacket and jersey pants.

In order to preserve the Korean traditional gold foil, to develop as Korean traditional textile art by utilizing in modem fashion for textile industry, and to examine utility of the material which can be used in the modem wearing, interior goods and fashion terms, Textiles Applied Korean Traditional Gold Foil were developed. The results are as follows: First, important factors of the gold foil image should be extracted as materials quality, color and pattern, and modem and practical qualities should be proceeded when developing the image of the gold foil into modem quality material. Second, since gloss of fabric developed by a traditional method is somewhat strong, uniformity being a little bit low for hand-made manufacturing, and practical quality is low for high cost, deletion of the gold foil, etc. So it hasn't been appropriate for studying modem fashion material. Third, Jacquard weave has been examined as the most appropriate method in order to present the gold foil image among a number of textile manufacturing techniques Fourth, considering factors deciding the image of the gold foil and a sense of beauty of modem society, gloss of the foil has been lessened by expressing pattern to lower traditional quality and primary color. Fifth, pattern motives of developed materials have been extracted tram traditional gold foil patterns, and materials have been chosen considering of concepts and motives, and dragon pattern, crane pattern and bat pattern, Sixth, wearing, pin-up works, bed linen, fabrics for chairs, ties, bags, shoes, umbrellas, etc. are produced with the developed materials, and practical use and modern quality have been examined. The result is very satisfactory.
This paper aims to propose fashion designs based on the application of art flower technique to translucent clothing material. For study method, firstly I looked into art flower applications occurred in modern trend since 2000 as well as theoretical research on art flower and transparency expressed as artificial beauty. Second, I attempt to express transparency in a variety of unique ways by using the art flower technique in producing clothes. Third, I utilized transparent flower with translucent clothing material and tried to suggest fashion design attempting mixture of new materials. As a result, firstly transparent image and material are well fitted in with modern trend and especially it was very suitable for expressing feminine beauty. Second, transparency was the element to suggest creative formative world in fashion design in regard to flower's beauty, various shapes and colors and to provide infinite materials as design motive. Third, the combination of knit clothing and plastic art flower displayed a new form of material combination. Especially as translucent material is fitted with trend such as function, lightness and variableness in modern times of the $21^{st}$ century, it presents beautiful combination with transparent flower. Fourth, Silk flower technique is variously used in art flower techniques. Various possibility ranges are presented such as flower was recreated with artificial image by silk flower technique to be newly expressed and various materials like aesthete film can be also expressed with silk flower technique.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the Depaysement techniques in a new perspective, which are applicable to fashion window display. It was investigated by studying the case of Depaysement expressed in contemporary fashion window display. The analysis object of this study was limited to window displays shown at the world's most famous department stores in the last five years. The data was collected through related specialty publications and each department store's websites. The framework for analysis of this study is established by relevant precedent studies. The results of this study were drawn form comparative quantitative analysis from an expert group. Through the study, the characteristics of Depaysement in the contemporary fashion window display were classified into 'Change of forms and materials', 'Heterogeneous combination of objects', 'Location change of an object', 'Conversion of recognition on an object' and 'Change of spatial awareness'. The expression approaches were 'Change of scale', 'Change of materials', 'Combination of heterogeneous objects', 'Heterogeneous combination', 'Arrangement of object in a strange space', 'Change of display method', 'Overlapped object', 'Paradoxical image', 'Variable awareness of boundary' and 'Reorganization of interior space and change of materials'.
This study investigated the development of eyeglasses and design transition in materials and types through literature survey. The scope of this study on the basis of the 15th century, for this study survey reaches from the 15th century to modern. The result of this study were as follows. Real magnifying glasses was first mentioned by the Arab physicist al-Hazen who was famous of his treatise on optics. The oldest documents which explicitly refer to the art of making lenses for eyeglasses and magnifying glasses were the Venetian artisans of 1300. In the 15th century someone thought to remedy the unstability of glasses by securing the bridge on the forehead. But it was only in the 17th century that someone contrived to stabilize the frame by strapping it on the face by means of fine cords that reached behind the ears. Eventually in the early years of the 18th century the English optician Edward Scarlett invented the rigid earpieces which solved once and for all the problem of holding the eyeglasses firmly in place. In the 19th century, eyeglasses' fashion were monocle and pince-nez. In the 20th century, various lenses and frames were appeared. Therefore eyeglasses to correct defective sight, sun-glasses, as well as a most succesful item among modern fashion accessories.
The purpose of this research is to reveal the antimicrobial activity of pet-dog clothes by investigating the bacteria resistance of 4 kinds of pet-dog clothes materials. 1. Investigation Results of Pet-Dog Clothes 64.7% of 150 survey participants, revealed they had pet-dog clothes. Hand laundering was 67.0%, while the laundering of both human and animal clothes was 9.2%. The greatest washing frequency was once every 2 weeks. So, the subjects didn't seem to think high of hygienic matters. Even though no if any relations were reported by 34.7% of the subjects, there were some experiences like sneezing or coughing (41.3%), slight itching (20.7%), and acute skin allergies. There were such hugging methods as heart to heart to the center (22.7%), face to face and around the mouth (16.7%), and below the heart with the dog's face outward (15.3%). Thus, hugging the dog near the pet-lover's face seems to be the cause of respiratory diseases including sneezes and coughs. 2. Results of the Anti-Bacteria Experiment of Pet-Dog Clothes Materials According to the analysis of the germs collected and cultured in this study to reveal the properness of pet-dog clothes materials, they were bacteria or bacilli in shapes. Spore growth was active in the order of such experimental materials as artificial leather > cotton > cotton/ nylon > polyester (finest thread). In terms of germ groups, the order was polyester(finest thread) > cotton > cotton/ nylon > artificial leather.
