외장재 연소확대방지용 헤드 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Head for Prevent the Fire Spread of Exterior)

  • 본 연구에서는 건축외장재 화재로 인한 수직화염의 확산을 방지하기 위하여 연소확대방지용 헤드를 개발하였다. 헤드개발의 성능기준은 NFPA 80A 7.7.4.3 조항(Recommended Practice for Protection of Buildings Exterior Fire Exposures)에 의거하였으며, 방사압 0.05 MPa, 방수량 60 l/min 기준을 적용하였다. 헤드개발은 국내에서 사용되는 드렌처헤드와는 사용용도 및 구조가 전혀 상이하나 이를 응용가공하여 총 5차례의 실험과정을 통해 방사압 0.05 MPa일 때 방수량 65 l/min의 연소확대방지용 헤드를 개발하였다. 연소확대방지용 헤드의 헤드 간 적정 이격거리는 실험결과, 3~5 m 이내로 건물별 화재위험강도에 따라 선택적으로 설계에 적용하면 되는 것으로 판단된다.

  • The objective of this study is to provide basic data for building better exterior spaces for stadiums in the future by analyzing the behavior of users, such as the satisfaction measure and the physical environment, after using the exterior space at an existing stadium. To achieve this, multiple methods of data gathering and analyses such as field surveys, documentary surveys, and questionnaires research were used in this study. In the survey of user satisfaction, regression analysis was conducted on all factors. Factor analysis was conducted on the variables that were classified into physical, functional, social, and psychological factors. The factors were then tested and based on the results, multiple regression analysis was conducted to measure the effects of the factors concerning satisfaction. A questionnaire research on the use of the exterior space of a stadium as well as the social and economic backgrounds of the users was also conducted in order to utilize the results for the basic data for analysis of satisfaction. According to the results of this study, the exterior space of a stadium satisfied overall expectations. However, it is deemed important to introduce various facilities and activity programs and to improve the exterior spaces for users in building stadiums in the future.

피터 아이젠만 건축의 색채사용특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Color for Peter Eisenman Architecture)

  • Architectural color would be understood as a essential tool to be reflected the architect's value criteria, thinking process and the specific methodology. This study was established the characteristics of color use correlated with Eisenman's architectural features based on his point of view. At first, it could be organized with data and use the color in view points with the becomming process. Especially it would be expressed the color as a trace of unsynchronized formation. Second, it was introduced the color by graphics engaged with form, to be expressed the dividing, folding, reiteration for deliver of escape from graphic thinking process. Third, it was analyzed to be imported the color to have a multi-lateral space experience in center of user's space recognition and behavior by introduction of color. Finally, it could be inducted the consistent color by viewpoint of interfacial between interior and exterior environment, communicated with strong meaning by conversion from interior elements to color from these processes. A characteristics of Eisenman's architecture color is reflected his thinking process in architecture color as it is and can be understand of 'becomming process use of color' as a tool that is corresponded in form creation. Specially, it would be kept continuous viewpoint of interior and exterior space, giving user color as a viewpoint of linking space, enable many-sidedness experiences through space.

수용성(水溶性) 방부처리재(防腐處理材)에서 금속류(金屬類)의 부식(腐蝕) (Corrosion of Metals in Waterborne Preservative-Treated Wood)

  • This study was performed to investigate the corrosion of metal fasteners in waterborne preservative-treated wood. Of all the metal tested, steel exhibited the greatest amount of corrosion across all preservatives and exposure conditions whereas stainless steel was totally inert. Galvanized steel corroded at a much lower rate compared to steel and the corrosion of brass was negligible. Among the preservatives, CCA-Type B was the most corrosive system tested. The sequence for the average corrosivity across all metals was: CCA-type B>CCA-Type C${\geq}$ACC${\geq}$CCA-Type A. Across all metals and retentions the salt formulations were more corrosive than the oxide and the corrosion was increased with the increse in the amount of preservative loadings. The amount of corrosion was also increased with the increase in exposure relative humidity (RH) across all metals and presevatives However, at the 60% RH exposure condition, the corrosion of metals was very negligible. Consequently, it can be concluded that across all metals oxide-type preservatives should be used to prevent the corrosion problem of metal fasteners in contact with treated wood and the use of steel nail preservative-treated wood should be avoided without distinction of end-use location, i.e., exterior or interior, and the use of stainless steel or at least brass nail in damp exterior condition was strongly recommended.

실내광장 적용을 위한 도시 광장의 바이오필릭 디자인(Biophilic Design) 요소분석 - 쉼(Relaxation)을 중심으로 - (Analysis of Biophilic Design Elements in Exterior City Squares for a Application of Indoor Squares Design - Focused on Relaxation -)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze City squares in Europe according to Biophilic Design elements to apply domestic Indoor Squares in Mixed-use building for relaxation. This study seeks to present a direction for designing an indoor square that uses the aspects of European city square. The following details consist the purpose of the study. First, Perspective from the Biophilic design and analyzing criteria of Europe city square. Second, European city square is analyzed to establish the criteria to be applied to indoor square. Third, based on European city square analysis, the planning direction for domestic indoor square is suggested. This result of paper proceeds as follows. First, it describes the analysis of the Indoor Squares of the domestic Mixed-use building. The results were derived of the fact that not applying the water elements and Facade greening. Second, In Europe Square, It is accounted for the highest proportion (33%) of the spaciousness. Third, Through a comparative analysis domestic indoor square was derived that the higher the need to improve the spaciousness and botanical motif. It is the ultimate goal of this study based on the analysis of the city square to set the criteria for the biophilic design of the indoor square to present the orientation of the indoor square.

동유를 함유하는 목조주택 외장용 옻칠도료의 적용 (Application of Korean Rhus Lacquer Containing Tung Oil For Exterior Coatings)

  • 본 연구에서는 식물성 오일인 동유에 국내산 생칠 또는 정제칠을 10, 20, 30 및 40 wt.% 혼합하여 목조주택 외장용 도료를 제조하고 기존의 외장용 도료인 오일스테인과 내후성을 비교하여 외장용 도료로서의 가능성을 제시하려고 하였다. 생칠, 정제칠 및 동유를 혼합하여 제조된 도료의 성질에 대한 실험결과를 보면 생칠이 정제칠에 비해 화학구조 내에 존재하는 -OH group이 많으며 경화특성이 좋은 것으로 나타났다. 동적점도는 정제칠이 생칠에 비해 Frequency 150 rad/s 이하에서는 높은 것으로 나타났지만 150 rad/s 이상에서는 거의 비슷한 수준의 동적 점도를 보여 주었다. 또한 동유에 생칠을 혼합할수록 화학구조내의 -OH group이 증가하고 경화온도가 증가함을 보여 주었다. 내후성 실험결과는 제조된 도막의 색차변화가 기존에 목조주택 외장용 도료로 사용하는 오일스테인에 비해 높게 나타났지만 동유에 생칠을 40 wt.% 혼합한 경우와 정제칠을 30 wt.% 또는 40 wt.% 혼합한 경우 거의 비슷한 색차 변화를 보여 주었다. 색차를 제외한 광택도 변화, 접촉각 변화의 측정 결과는 오일 스테인의 변화정도와 유사한 결과를 보여 주어 목조주택 외장용 도료로써의 가능성을 보여 주었다.

콘칼로리미터에 의한 외단열시스템의 방염 화재성능평가를 위한 연구 (A Study on Fire Performance Evaluation of EIFS on Anti-Flaming Finish by Cone Calorimeter Test)

  • 본 연구에서는, 건축 외장재로 많이 사용되고 있는 외단열시스템에 대해 방염 효과를 확인하기 위하여 콘칼로리미터 실험을 적용하였다. 실험 결과, 방염제의 도포 형태나 농도에 따라 초기 착화 시점을 지연하는데 효과가 있었으나, 외벽 수직화재 발생 시 외단열시스템의 방염처리는 화재에 영향을 미치지 못할 것이라는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 외단열시스템에 사용하는 고밀도와 저밀도 스티로폼의 밀도차에 의한 화재에 미치는 영향은 차이가 없음을 확인하였다. 실험 시 외장재의 착화는 40초 전후로 발생하였으며, 방출열량도 100초 이내에 약 90 %가 발생하는 것으로 나타나 다른 외벽재료와 비교하여 초기 화재 확산이 매우 빠름을 알 수 있었다. 외단열시스템 외장재 화재로 인한 화재 확산을 방지하기 위해서는 법적으로 외단열시스템의 적용 시 건물의 용도별로 사용을 제한하거나 화염전파를 차단할 수 있는 수직외벽 구획 등의 대책이 시급히 요구된다.

가로경관 조명설계를 위한 건축물 외관유형과 경관조명방식과의 상관관계모델 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Development of The Relationship Model of Building Facades and Exterior Lighting for Streetscape Design)

  • For lighting design in such diverse structures, we need lots of considerations, such as use and characteristics of the structure, harmony with its surroundings, and the function and type of lighting to be installed. The structural characteristics is determined by its shape and several vertical and horizontal factors based on the shape, which can be focused on at day time by shading, the surface structure, the quality of the surface and the color. On the other hand, they can be at night hidden in the darkness or enforced strongly by the effect of the lighting. In this paper, correlation between the ways of lighting and building facade types according to vocabularies for sensitivity is explored based upon an analysis of building facades for small-scale commerce which plays an important role in cityscape lighting design. It is considered that categorization of types of building facades, presented in this article, and the classification system of exterior lighting methods can be useful in planning lighting. And the process of the study is thought to be able to present a method about the exterior lighting planning. Furthermore, computer simulation on the bases of the correlation model of the lighting methods related to vocabularies for sensitivity about the building facade types is expected to be data and means which can be a great help for designers to predict various results quickly.

Support Vector Machine Model to Select Exterior Materials

  • Choosing the best-performance materials is a crucial task for the successful completion of a project in the construction field. In general, the process of material selection is performed through the use of information by a highly experienced expert and the purchasing agent, without the assistance of logical decision-making techniques. For this reason, the construction field has considered various artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to support decision systems as their own selection method. This study proposes the application of a systematic and efficient support vector machine (SVM) model to select optimal exterior materials. The dataset of the study is 120 completed construction projects in South Korea. A total of 8 input determinants were identified and verified from the literature review and interviews with experts. Using data classification and normalization, these 120 sets were divided into 3 groups, and then 5 binary classification models were constructed in a one-against-all (OAA) multi classification method. The SVM model, based on the kernel radical basis function, yielded a prediction accuracy rate of 87.5%. This study indicates that the SVM model appears to be feasible as a decision support system for selecting an optimal construction method.

GPS/INS에 의한 외부표정요소 결정에 관한 경험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Determination of Exterior Orientation Parameters with GPS/INS)

  • 본 본문은 GPS(Global Positioning System)와 IMU(Inertial Measuring Unit)를 연계하여 최소의 지상기준점만으로도 재래식 항공사진측량 방법과 비교하여 정확도의 손실 없이 외부표정요소를 결정할 수 있는 새로운 기법에 대하여 연구하였다. 이러한 GPS/INS 항공사진측량의 실무적용 가능성을 입증하기 위하여 직접 비행실험을 하고 촬영된 대상지역에 대하여 동적 GPS 위치결정의 정확도의 검증 및 재래식 방법과 GPS/IMU에 의한 사진기 준점측량을 실시하여 다양한 방법으로 비교한 결과를 소개하였다.
