Objectives : The purpose of this study is to assess Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM) doctors' awareness and utilization of the case report, based on the opinion that careful observation on the case sometimes provides us with the important information as clinical trial especially in the traditional medicine research field. Methods : A questionnaire study was conducted among TKM doctors who participated in the annual continuous maintenance education (CME) held at 5 regions of the Republic of Korea. Results : Almost 60% of the respondents had read case reports published in medical journals and 67% had openly shared their clinical cases with their colleagues. Of the respondents, 18.6% had been educated on reporting cases, and only 16% had the experience of reporting cases on one's own. However, 32.6% of the respondents had the intention to report cases in the future. These results show significant differences between general physicians who holds a license but no hospital training experience and board certified TKM doctors who have training experience. Conclusions : A majority of TKM doctors have read case reports but holds little experience of having been properly trained. Through this research, it has been found that awareness of case reports is rising in hospital training. Thus, the objective of case report education for TKM doctors who have hospital training experience should be set on encouraging them to do more whereas for doctors without hospital training experience, the objective should be set on making them more exposed to case reports to heighten one's awareness.

With the development of Information Technology, customers require promptly higher quality products and services. Companies try to make newly digital marketing strategies, but there are no empirical researches on them. This article empirically presents a new perspective that companies can shape the customer decision journey ahead by coordinating customer experience. In this article, based on Elaborated Likelihood Model (ELM) theory, customer experience consists of the emotional or cognitive experience. We surveyed about 200 subjects (N = 217) in their 20s and 30s based on the International Music Industry Association's Music Listening 2019 report, then analyzed four different models (before personalization-cognitive experience, before personalization-emotional experience, after personalization- cognitive experience, after personalization-emotional experience) by JASP and R Studio. We conducted Structural Equation Model (SEM) and paired t-test. Personalization factors are about recommendation systems in Spotify. The results of survey represent that companies can shape the Customer Decision Journey (CDJ) ahead especially through enhance cognitive experience. It empirically proves Elaborated Likelihood Model (ELM). The conclusion can be drawn that 'pulling' customer experience can be a new marketing strategies in the digital era.

The article examines the stage of verification of a crime report from the standpoint of the need for its legislative regulation. Moreover, it investigates the international experience in this field. The existing procedural models are described in detail on the example of the neighboring and faraway countries. An analysis of the provisions of the current criminal procedure law of Russia and foreign experience allowed the authors to identify existing problems in the implementation of departmental control and prosecutorial supervision at the stage of verifying a crime report. The aim of the study is to develop theoretical provisions and recommendations regarding the implementation of departmental procedural control and prosecutorial supervision over the activities of the investigator during the verification of reports of crimes, based on the study of experience, both in Russia and in a number of countries of the near and far abroad, which could find their reflection in law enforcement practice, as well as aimed at improving the current criminal procedure legislation. The authors substantiated the theory that a detailed examination of the foreign procedural foundations of checking a crime report will allow us to form the most suitable model for checking a crime report for our state, taking into account all possible features and successfully implement it into the current criminal procedural law of the Russian Federation.

Mediastinal lipomas are fairly unusual tumors. They are usually lobulated, encapsulated and found in the anterior mediastinum. Although benign, they may grow to an huge size, but they no specific symptom. We experienced a case of large cervico-mediastinal lipoma, which successfully resected. This report reviews our experience with the review of literature.

An Operating Experience Report(OER) has written about events and accidents happened at a Nuclear Power Plant(NPP). The purpose of publishing the OER is to prevent the similar event or accident repeatedly by spreading the experience of a single plant to other plants personnel. In this paper, it is analyses that the foreign NPPs' OERs on JIT published by the International Nuclear Agency(WANO, INPO, COG, BE). The analysis introduced in this paper is performed along with the various factors such as type of work, root-cause, and equipment. The root-cause analysis about the OERs shows that the Human-error is the major factor in foreign NPPs, but on the other hand equipment problem is the main part of the Domestic NPPs. The ratio of the foreign NPP's OERs on JIT according to the type of work was applied to KHNP-JIT developed nowadays for the first time in KOREA.

Before initiating the analysis mentioned in this paper, 2,298 review reports for the same number of OER published from 2007 to June 2012 have been written to achieve the correct and objective statistics. The analysis introduced in this paper is performed with the various factors such as year, plant type, equipment, type of work, root-cause. The root-cause analysis is showed that the equipment problem is the major factor in domestic NPPs, but on the other hand human-error is the main part of the foreign NPPs. Moreover, while the number of the man-made event is decreasing, the equipment-made event is rapidly increasing in domestic NPPs.

Background: Good patient experience is positively associated with adherence to treatment recommendations, better clinical effectiveness, and health outcomes. This study aims to find out the key factors affecting positive patient experience to improve the quality of care using nationally representative survey data. Methods: The data was collected from the 6th National Health Nutrition Survey in 2015. Four patient experience items were investigated for patients with visiting outpatient care over the past year. Positive patient experience was defined as a case of responding always or usually yes. The t-test, chi-square test, and multiple logistic regression were performed to determine the key factors affecting the outpatient experience. Results: More than 80% of the respondents reported their care experience as positive excluding doctor spending enough time during the consultation. Male, poor health status, and single/divorced, and the longer time interval between outpatient care visit and survey were found to be significantly correlated with negative care experiences in the multiple logistic regression. Patients who received outpatient care at the oriental medicine clinic had a positive experience compared to those received outpatient care at the general hospital. However, patient factors including age, income, job, and insurance type had no significant association with patient experience. Conclusion: Health care providers should prioritize patients who report negative patient experiences and implement management decisions to improve the patient experience.

본 연구의 목적은 경험표집법을 이용하여 도시노인들의 일상생활 경험을 활동의 공간과 대인맥락을 중심으로 재구성하고, 이러한 일상의 맥락들이 노인들의 순간 정서경험과 어떠한 관련성을 맺고 있는지 탐색하는 것이다. 특히 노인의 일상생활의 구성과 그 과정에서 느끼는 정서적 경험은 노인이 처한 사회구조적 맥락에 의해 영향을 받는다는 점에 주목하여, 개인의 삶을 구성하는 중요한 맥락 중 하나인 젠더에 초점을 맞추어 수행되었다. 이를 위해 남성 76명, 여성 72명의 도시노인을 대상으로, 일상생활의 외적, 내적 경험을 동시에 파악할 수 있는 경험표집법을 사용하여 참여자들이 평소에 어디서, 누구와 함께 시간을 보내며, 매 순간마다 어떠한 긍정적, 부정적 정서를 경험하는지에 대한 정보를 수집하였다. 또한, 각 개인이 반복적으로 작성한 응답수를 분석의 단위로 하여 기술통계, 카이제곱검증, t 검증, 그리고 분산분석 및 Scheffe 사후검증을 실시하였다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. (1) 노인의 일상생활의 활동 공간 중 가장 높은 비중을 차지하는 공간은 집이고, 일상의 시간을 가장 많이 공유하는 사람은 배우자였다. (2) 전반적으로 여성이 남성보다 부정적 정서경험 수준이 높았다. (3) 활동의 공간 및 대인맥락과 정서경험 수준 간 관련성이 젠더에 따라 상이하였다. 이러한 주요 결과에 기초하여 노인의 일상생활에서의 정서경험의 의미와 이와 관련되는 일상의 맥락에서의 젠더차이를 논의하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing workplace bullying among Korean hospital nurses. Methods: Subjects in this study included 178 hospital nurses who attended two nationwide nursing educational conferences in 2013. The data was collected using self-report questionnaires which were used to identify the subjects' characteristics, self-esteem, perception of nursing organizational culture, and workplace bullying experience. Results: The results showed that 19.1% of study subjects reported being victims of workplace bullying and mostly experienced person-related and work-related bullying. Multiple regression analysis was done to identify factors affecting workplace bullying. The perception of relation-oriented culture, task-oriented culture and self-esteem turned out to be variables that explained nurses' workplace bullying, and these factors accounted for 32.0% of the variance. Conclusion: The findings suggest that nurses experience more workplace bullying in task-oriented cultures. However, they experience less bullying and report higher self-esteem and awareness in relation-oriented cultures. Interventions focused on the characteristics of the organization need to be developed to prevent workplace bullying in hospital nurses.

The criss-cross, a term first used by Anderson and Ando , is a rare cardiac malformation in which the systemic and pulmonary blood streams cross at the atrioventricular level, without mixing. We have surgically experienced four cases of crossed atrioventricular connection, three concordant and one discordant, at Seoul National University Hospital from July 1982 to March 1984. The atrial situs, the atrioventriculoarterial connection, the spatial position of the ventricles, and associated cardiac anomalies were analyzed. We have performed right Blalock-Taussig shunt for case 1, modified Fontan operation for case 2, patch closure of VSD for case 3, and septation of common ventricle with primary closure of ASD for case 4. The relatively good postoperative results in these patients were gratifying and suggest that cardiac anomalies associated with this rare malformation can be successfully repaired without further risk. To our knowledge, this is the first report of surgical experience for criss-cross heart in the Korean literature.
