The purpose of this study is to consider the characteristics of Latin American style expressed in modern fashion. Latin American fashion has been overlooked the influences, scope and diversity of dress within this world culture region. So, this study aim to unravel the history and significance of Latin American fashion. As for the research methodology, to classify types of the Latin American fashion style theoretical study and content analysis for Vogue magazine has been undertaken. In this study, the term of Latin American fashion style refers to the dress of common characteristics involving Latin American culture. To inquire into the characteristics of the types, various cases has been searched through books, internet, and designer's collections. The results of this study can be summarized as followings. The major types of Latin American fashion style are Indio-ethnic style, tropical-exotic style, and latin-romantic style. First, Indio-ethnic style has been involving traditional costumes and patterns which are originated in ancient Mexico and Peru. Second, tropical-exotic style has been involving bright color, tropical fruit and African flower pattern, various textures, and relaxed silhouette which are inspired by free and easy culture in Brazil and the Caribbean. Third, latin-romantic style has been involving the mix of Latin American tradition and romantic detail such as see-through material, lace, ruffle, spanish flower motif. In conclusion, Latin American style on contemporary fashion is based on interest to cannibalize folk theme, technique, icons and exotic others.
The purpose of this study is to extract the color chip from the works of Matisse with the exotic tastes, to analyze the characters of adjacent colors, and to suggest the color coordination of artistic character. The research method is based on the literature study which analyzes visual materials. The results are as follows. Considering the colors of Japanese taste, He employs vivid and strong tone in red, yellow, and blue, light tone in pink, purple, and green and deep tone in green, purple, blue and black. His color scheme is very bold and splendid. In his Algerian taste, red is very popular, but an attention should be paid in his development of orange and blue tones. In general, the usage of various tones brings colors into less relief and make the contrast of tones more conspicuous. His Spanish taste, based on red and orange, attracts attentions with strong impressions, but sometimes, dark or adjacent pale tones creates strong, mild and murky atmosphere. The Moroccan taste, based on the development of blue tones which have strong attraction implies the lightness but represents silent and calm. The Rumanian taste, represented in primary colors of red, yellow and blue and achromatic colors is bright and clear. In addition, its light tone in various colors represents peace and romance. The coordination of the exotic colors with the unique adjacent colors created by Matisse is not based on the established color coordination theory, but extracts colors in the aspect of culture borrowing. Therefore, it can double the effects of the color scheme expressed in the existing designs and be used as the global and multi-cultural design sources.

The distribution of exotic weeds in 4 island area such as Baengnyeong-do, Heuksan-do, Chuja-do, and Geomun-do in Korea was investigated. Baengnyeong-do, Heuksan-do, Chuja-do, and Geomun-do have different weed flora, 41 species included 13 families, 32 species included 11 families, 23 species included 9 families and 30 species included 12 families were observed in the 4 islands, respectively. 18 families 70 species were occurred in 4 island. Most troublesome exotic weeds were Ambrosia artemisiifolia var. elatior, Solanum carolinense, Cuscuta pentagona. Occurrence frequency of Conyza canadensis, Erigeron annuus, Dactylis glomerata, Bromus catharticus and Lolium multiflorum were the highest in each island, respectively. Also, result of divided life cycle, annual weeds were 28 species occupied 40% in total, biennial weeds were 21 species (30%) and perennial weeds were 21 species (30%).
This study was carried out to investigate the actual vegetation and Degree of Green Naturality(DGN) and distribution of exotic plants replanted in Bukhansan National Park. The actual vegetation of the surveyed site was classified into eight plant communities and crop land, etc. Substitutional forest were classified into five plant communities; Quercus mongolica community, Q. mongolica-Pinus densiflora community, Deciduous broadleaf forest, etc. Reforested lands were classified into three forest types: P. koraiensis forest, Robinia pseudoacacia forest, P. rigida forest, etc. The area of DGN 8 consisted of 92.80% in Bukhansan National Park. The replanted plants in Bukhansan National Park was enlisted as 212 taxa, 71 families. The indigenous native among the replanted species were enlisted as 67 taxa(31.6%), 37 families. The exotic plants were enlisted as 145 taxa(68.4%), 58 families. The exotic plants needs to management that for recovery of natural environment, improvement about maintenance of multiplicity and a site of scenery about natural plants in Bukhansan National Park.
From the late 17th to the early 18th century, Europeans were strongly intrigued by products from the East. Therefore, several countries like England, France, and Netherlands formed the 'East India Company' to pursue trade. First, European markets rapidly responded to this desire for exoticism by importing goods; then, they produced imitation Oriental goods. Finally, they made stylistically advanced exotic merchandise from the perspectives of European. In terms of the textile industry, this trend was expressed in the pattern design of silk, or the so called 'bizarre silk.' In this paper, bizarre silk patterns were scrutinized based on a digital archive of museums, catalogues of museums, portal sites, and the literature. The bizarre silk patterns were analyzed then classified into six categories: pseudo-Oriental plant pattern, pattern mingled with architectural motifs, pattern of juxtaposed with Oriental goods, abstract pattern, exuberant pattern with metal threads, and semi-naturalistic pattern. These patterns were characterized according to the following features: strangely large exotic floral patterns were undulating and asymmetrical; exotic foliage and flowers were sometimes mixed with architectural motifs or Oriental goods to easily show the Oriental influence; motifs of bizarre silk patterns were abstractly stylized; bizarre silk patterns became luxurious once more like the Baroque period; finally, floral patterns became more natural, and still exotic motifs remained in the background to maintain the bizarre silk features. These bizarre silk patterns evolved from the viewpoints of Europeans through acceptance stage, compound stage, and confluent stage.
Background: Due to the rapidly changing climatic conditions, South Korea faces the grand challenge of exotic species. With the increasing human movement, the influx of alien species to novel regions is prevalent across the globe. The latest research suggests that it is easy to prevent the introduction and establishment of alien species rather than controlling their spread and eradication. Like other countries, the Korean Ministry of Environment released a list (in 2018) of 45 potential risky exotic fish species considered likely to be invasive candidate fish species if they ever succeed in entering the Korean aquatic ecosystems. Results: The investigation into the invasion suitability traits showed that potential risky fish species could utilize those features in becoming invasive once they arrive in the Korean aquatic ecosystems. If the novel species establish viable populations, they are likely to incur higher economic costs, damage the native aquatic fauna and flora, and jeopardize the already perilled species. Furthermore, they can damage the installed infrastructure, decline overall abundance and biodiversity, and disturb the ecosystem services. Here we reviewed the list of fish species concerning their family, native origin, preferred aquatic biomes, main food items, current status in Korea, and potential threats to humans and the ecosystems. Data shows that most species are either already designated as invasive in the neighboring counties, including Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, and China, or originate from these countries. Such species have a higher climate match with the Korean territories. Conclusions: Therefore, it is exceptionally essential to study their most critical features and take regulatory measures to restrict their entry. The incoming fish species must be screened before letting them in the country in the future. The regulatory authorities must highlight the threatening traits of such species and strictly monitor their entrance. Detailed research is required to explore the other species, especially targeting the neighboring countries fish biodiversity, having demonstrated invasive features and matching the Korean climate.

The present study analyzed all of exotic malaria (EM) cases reported in the Republic of Korea (Korea) and Japan from 2015 to 2017 to assess the trends of incidence overtime to review the risk factors for travelers visiting malaria-endemic countries. We investigated 162 cases of EM in Korea with a cumulative incidence rate (CIR) of 0.105 per 100,000 populations nationwide and the CIR of the oversea travelers was 0.238 per 100,000 travelers, respectively. During the same period in Japan, 152 cases of EM in nationwide with a CIR of 0.041 and in the oversea travelers with a CIR of 0.297 were observed. When compared, the CIR of EM in nationwide was much higher than that in Japan (P<0.01), but a CIR of imported by travelers in Korea was lower than that in Japan (P<0.01).

In case of leaving artificial slopes resulting from large-scale constructions, there may be secondary damage caused by soil loss due to erosion and collapse. Furthermore, slope-restoring constructions have a few problems such as monotonous landscape and difficult succession of secondary vegetation due to reckless use of exotic grass, despite attaining the initial purpose of revegetation. To settle this problem, selected plants deemed to be proper for revegetation were used on one of thin vegetation base methods, CODRA SYSTEM, and made seeding mixture experimental plots considering germination rates differing in each season. Native herbs, native shrubs and exotic herbs contents were increased by 30% and 50% respectively, centered on seeding quantity(30g/$m^2$) used as design standard in the seed spray method, in order to figure out proper quantity for revegetation in each season.
Given the lack of a resistant genetic pool in host plants, the introduction of exotic invasive pathogens can result in epidemics that affect a specific ecosystem and economy. Plant quarantine, which is designed to protect endemic plant resources, is a highly invaluable safeguard that should keep biosecurity with increasing international trade and global transportation. A total of 34 species of plant pathogens including Phytophthora infestans were documented as introduced from other countries into Korea from 1900 to 2010. The genus Phytophthora, classified in oomycetes, includes more than 120 species that are mostly recognized worldwide as highly invasive plant pathogens. After 2000, over 50 new species of Phytophthora were identified internationally as plant pathogens occurring in crops and forest trees. In Korea, Phytophthora is also one of the most serious plant pathogens. To date, 22 species (about one-fifth of known species) of the genus have been identified and reported as plant pathogens in the country. The likelihood of new exotic Phytophthora species being introduced into Korea continues to increase, thus necessitating intensive plant quarantine inspections. As new potential threats to plant health in Korea, six Phytophthora species, namely, P. alni, P. inundata, P. kernoviae, P. pinifolia, P. quercina, and P. ramorum, are discussed in this review with focus on history, disease, biology, management, and plant quarantine issues.

We propose appropriate criteria for obtaining fish species data and number of learning data, as well as for selecting the most appropriate convolutional neural network (CNN) to efficiently classify exotic invasive fish species for their extermination. The acquisition of large amounts of fish species data for CNN learning is subject to several constraints. To solve these problems, we acquired a large number of fish images for various fish species in a laboratory environment, rather than a natural environment. We then converted the obtained fish images into fish images acquired in different natural environments through simple image synthesis to obtain the image data of the fish species. We used the images of largemouth bass and bluegill captured at a pond as test data to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method. In addition, to classify the exotic invasive fish species accurately, we evaluated the trained CNNs in terms of classification performance, processing time, and the number of data; consequently, we proposed a method to select the most effective CNN.
