Future-oriented Characteristics Examined through the Identity and Modernity of Sonia Delaunay's Work

  • The purpose of this study is to derive the future-oriented characteristics Sonia Delaunay presented at the time based on the identity and modernity shown in her works and diverse activity. The scope of study spans from 1907 to the start of World War II and includes both applied and fine arts, with a focus on textiles and fashion. The research method is a literary study that includes old documents, exhibition booklets, and explanations from museum curators. The visual materials are actual works observed at exhibitions and digital images of various exhibitions. As a result of the research, she was a practitioner who expressed her identity in marriage, artwork, textiles, and fashion. In order to embody her design and express modernity, she showed geometric and modern motifs and she incorporated a sense of bright color and modernized light into her work by following the principle of simultaneous contrast in color. Additionally, she applied Hungarian embroidery techniques to simple materials and created geometric abstraction with her simultaneous colors, which contributed to both originality and the mass production of textile design. The future-oriented characteristics she presented are the dynamism of modern rhythm, the expansion of convergence and collaboration, the innovation of new production and exhibition, the media of consumer society, and the femininity of modern life. She recognized the mass consumer society and mass production of the early 20th century and actively utilized various media and genres to evoke a dynamic sense necessary for modern life and presented a design to be seen as a modern woman.

종이 의상을 위한 소재 변형 기법과 그 특성 분석 (Paper Manipulation Techniques for Garments and Their Characteristics)

  • The purposes of this study were to identify the material manipulation techniques for paper garments and their characteristics. Reference books or articles were reviewed and catalogues from paper garments exhibition or show, brochures from Paper Museums, and internet sites of paper fashion designers were selected for analysis. Paper has much similarity with natural cellulose textiles in appearances and contents but has much distinct differences in their physical characteristics such as strength, durability, washability, and resilience, and could be treated as one category of textiles. Paper garments were developed with practicality and functionality for the poor and Buddist monks at first but progressed into more aesthetics later for the rich. Paper garments could be divided into 4 categories of garments made of paper, paper thread fabric or knit, modified paper with wanter, and beaten bark of mulburry bush. Paper can be manipulated by coloring & cutting, bonding, or quilting and bonding or quilting can reenforce the strength of paper but cannot increase flexibility. Paper manipulated by weaving or knitting has very similar physical properties as cotton or linen and ideal for summer textiles. Paper can be manipulated with water to make a paper paste and bodice can be moulded with paper paste or Joomchied. Also we can express beautiful patterns on the surface of paper by washouting. Konnyaku paste or lacquer can be used to make paper garments to be waterproof.

멀티 디스플레이 콘텐츠 전송 시스템을 위한 디바이스 연결 및 배치 인식 기법의 구현 (An Implementation of Device Connection and Layout Recognition Techniques for the Multi-Display Contents Delivery System)

  • According to the advancement of display devices, the multi-screen contents display environment is growing to be accepted for the display exhibition area. The objectives of this research are to find communications technology and to design an editor interface of contents delivery system for the larger and adaptive multi-display workspaces. The proposed system can find existence of display devices and get information without any additional tools like marker, and can recognize device layout with only web-cam and image processing technology. The multi-display contents delivery system is composed of devices with three roles; display device, editor device, and fixed server. The editor device which has the role of main control uses UPnP technology to find existence and receive information of display devices. extract appointed color in captured picture using a tracking library to recognize the physical layout of display devices. After the device information and physical layout of display devices are connected, the content delivery system allows the display contents to be sent to the corresponding display devices through WebSocket technology. Also the experimental results show the possibility of our device connection and layout recognition techniques can be utilized for the large spaced and adaptive multi-display applications.

까를로 스까르파 미술관 건축에 있어서의 컨버전디자인 수법과 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of Conversion Design Methods by Carlo Scarpa's Museum Architecture)

  • Museum Architecture, passing through modem times, have been requested to make changes in order to respond to the necessities of current times as well, so that they come to develop various kinds of programs other than a mere exhibition. That is, museum began recognizing the diversity of activities available in the spaces and the openness to the public. And tried to keep up with the changes by linking the museum buildings with local community in urban architecture as a result. Conversion design is methodology aims at reforming old buildings into a museum or revitalizing buildings of historical significance into exhibition center, so that it made possible to utilize the texts of historical, cultural cities, which in turn contribute to the diversity of urban architecture and protection of buildings in environmental crisis. In the sense, the paper analyzes the life-long contribution and dedication of Carlo Scarpa, an Italian architect, in the conversion of museum architecture, and studies the style, techniques, and features witnessed from his architectural works, and finally offers an insight and a directing post to take advantage of diverse ways likely applicable in our urban architectures. Scarpa's features in his museum architecture are classified as follows: First, contrasting expression of reiteration and side by side to express the continuity of time Second, he conveyed implicated meanings through inserting contracted factors of the locality and traditionality. Third, his interest in formative works and handicraft had an influence on shaping conversion space Finally, expression of accidentally to change of a point of view.

  • 테크놀로지의 발전과 밀접한 관계 속에서 이어져온 디자인의 역사는 디지털 혁명이라는 이름으로 산업혁명에 버금가는 디자인의 혁신과 새로운 역할을 요구하고 있으며, 전통적 인 삶과 생활의 모습의 변화를 이루고 있다. 이러한 시대에 공간에 대한 다양한 새로운 개념과 체계를 이해하여야 하는데 여 기에 작용하는 주요 변인요소는 디지털기기와 생활양식에 의한 물리적 요소와 디지털 적인 공간적 추상성에 근거한 감성적 요소로 나눌 수 있다. 공간 디자인에 있어 이 두 가지 요소는 연구테마의 중심이 되고 있다. 새로운 패러다임에 맞는 디자인 기법과 방법론이 합리적으로 디자인에 도입되면 디자인의 효율과 성과를 높일 수 있으며, 이러한 측면에서 공간디자인 분야에서 다양한 시도가 진행 중이다. 본 연구는 이러한 시도들을 공간 디자인(교육)에 적용하기 위한 연구로서 공간디자인에 디지털 테크놀로지를 적용하는 다양한 방식과 접근방식을 연구하여 공간 디자인의 관점에서 가상의 공간의 의미와 역할을 규정하고 그 기능적 인 상호 작용성에 대한 분석을 주목적으로 한다. 이를 통해 이미 광범위하게 활용되고 있는 사이버스페이스와 전통적인 공간 디자인의 유기적인 통합과 발전을 모색하고자 한다.

  • 국립김해박물관 개관전시 유물인 가야시대 토기(土器) 기대(器臺) 2점과 중앙박물관의 특별전 "고대국가의 형성" 전시회 출품 유물인 청자사이호(靑磁四耳壺)에 대한 보존처리를 수행하였다. 육안 및 실체현미경 관찰을 통하여 처리전 상태, 문양(文樣)과 제작기법(製作技法) 등을 파악하였고 이를 토대로 각 유물의 특성에 맞는 보존처리를 실시하였다. 기대는 결실부분이 커 에폭시계(系) 복원재료를 이용해 파손된 토기 면(面)과 직접 접착시켜 형태를 복원하고 문양과 색, 질감을 유사(類似)하게 처리하였다 청자는 토기와 같은 복원재를 이용했지만 파손된 청자 면과 분리(分離)시켜 형태를 복원하여 해체가 가능하도록 조치한 다음 색과 질감도 구분이 되도록 처리하였다.

  • Sentiment categorization technique be commonly isolated interested in threes significant classifications name Machine Learning Procedure (ML), Lexicon Based Method (LB) also finally, the Hybrid Method. In Machine Learning Methods (ML) utilizes phonetic highlights with apply notable ML algorithm. In this paper, in classification and identification be complete base under in optimizations technique called sequential minimal optimization with Random Forest algorithm (SMORF) for expanding the exhibition and proficiency of sentiment classification framework. The three existing classification algorithms are compared with proposed SMORF algorithm. Imitation result within experiential structure is Precisions (P), recalls (R), F-measures (F) and accuracy metric. The proposed sequential minimal optimization with Random Forest (SMORF) provides the great accuracy.

진주 중천리 출토 인두형토기(人頭形土器)의 보존 (Conservation of The Human Shaped Terra Cotta Mask Excavated from Jungcheon-ri, Jinju)

  • 진주 금산면 중천리 공동주택 부지에서 국내 처음으로 출토된 인두형토기에 대한 전반적인 보존처리 과정을 소개하고자 한다. 유물에 대한 정확한 제작기법 등을 알아보기 위하여 X-ray 촬영과 육안조사를 실시하여 유물 상부(정수리)의 원형 투공(4개)은 삼각형을 이루며, 투공의 지름은 3개가 같고, 하나가 다르다는 것이 확인되었다. 코는 좁고 긴 사다리꼴 형태의 점토를 빚어 토기면에 부착하였으며, X-ray 촬영으로 입위·아래 단의 원형 홈 깊이(윗단: 10 mm, 아랫단: 6 mm)를 확인하였다. 보존처리에 사용되는 각종 접착제나 복원제는 가역성이 있는 재료를 선택하여 접합·복원하였다. 인두형토기는 출토된 주변에서 동물뼈를 매장한 제사유구가 분포하고 있는 점과 정수리나 귀, 치아 부분에 무엇인가 장식을 하기 위한 홈이 있는 점으로 볼 때, 집단의 의례 행위와 관련된 것으로 학계에서는 추정한다. 또한 인두형토기가 발굴에서부터 과학적인 보존처리를 거쳐 복원되기까지의 과정을 '테마전시'로 기획하여, 발굴된 이후에 어떤 과정을 거쳐 전시가 이루어지는지에 대한 정보를 관람객에게 제공하고자 하였다.

Manufacturing Technique of Gilt-Bronze Objects Excavated from Tomb No.1(Donghachong) in Neungsan-ri, Buyeo

  • Tomb No. 1 (Donghachong) of the Buyeo Neungsan-ri Tomb complex (listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site), is a royal tomb of the Baekje Sabi Period. One wooden coffin unearthed there is an important relic of the funerary culture of the Baekje. This study examines the production techniques of gilt-bronze objects attached to the wooden coffin excavated from Donghachong. The base metal of the gilt-bronze object is pure copper, with single α phase crystals in a heterogeneous form containing annealing twins; Au and Hg are detected in the gilt layer. We suggest that the surface of the forging copperplate is gilded using a mercury amalgam technique; it is thought that the annealing twins of the base material formed during the heat treatment process for the sheet metal. The gilt layer is three to five times thicker for the gilt-bronze objects found near the foot of the coffin than those near the head. We estimate the plating process is carried out at least three times because three layers are identified on the plate near the head. Therefore, it is likely that the materials and methods used to construct the gilt-bronze objects found in different parts of the coffin are the same, but the number of platings is different. This research confirms the metal crafting techniques used in Baekje by the examination of production techniques of these gilt-bronze objects. Further, our paper presents an important example of restoration and reconstruction for a museum exhibition, through effective use of scientific analysis and investigation.

암기학습 증진을 위한 증강현실 콘텐츠 개발 연구 - 간호 술기 학습 콘텐츠 중심으로 (A Study on the Development of AR Content for Promoting Memory Learning -Nursing Education Learning Content)

  • 몰입도가 높고 실재감을 사용자에게 줄 수 있어 증강현실 기술은 아동 도서, 미술 체험전시와 같은 교육콘텐츠에 활용되고 있다. 본 연구는 암기학습이 필요한 간호 술기 교육에 증강현실 기술을 적용하여 스마트 기기에서 사용할 수 있는 콘텐츠를 구현하였다. 전문 교육 분야에서 지속적으로 활용하도록 교육용 콘텐츠에 증강현실 기술을 적용하여 실효성을 입증하고자 한다. 증강현실 카메라를 통해 증강된 이미지를 활용하는 게임 형식으로 용이성과 몰입감을 높여 40개의 간호술기 순서와 준비물 게임으로 제작하였다. 완성도 있는 콘텐츠 개발을 위해 베타버전의 FGI 설문을 거쳐 제작에 적용하였다. 본 연구를 통해 간호술기 교육에서 다양한 미디어 활용이 가능하다는 점, 증강현실이 전문교육 분야로의 적용 가능하다는 점, 이후에 개발되는 교육용 콘텐츠의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 시사점을 지닌다.
