신세대 주부의 생활예절의식이 생활예절수행에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of New Generation Housewives′Etiquette Awareness on their Etiquette Implementation)

  • The first purpose of this study is to inquire into the effect of new generation housewives'etiquette awareness on their etiquette implementation. For this purpose, this study will search the levels of new generation housewives'etiquette awareness and etiquette implementation, how the etiquette awareness and etiquette implementation vary according to their background variables, and the effect of new generation housewives'etiquette awareness as well as the background variables on their etiquette implementation. The major findings are as follows . First, the level of etiquette awareness was somewhat higher than that of etiquette implementation. Second, generally, their etiquette awareness didn't show a significant difference by the socio-demographic variables, but showed a significant difference by the psychological variables including communication level and humanism/materialism value orientation. Third, new generation housewives'etiquette implementation showed a significant difference only by monthly income like etiquette awareness. Meanwhile, as the psychological variables, etiquette implementation showed a significant difference by all Psychological variables except sex-role attitude. fourth, according to result of looking into relative influence of socio-demographic variables, psychological variables, and etiquette awareness about etiquette implementation, etiquette awareness was a significant variable which affects etiquette implementation.

청소년의 예절의식 및 예절수행에 관한 연구 (Variables Related to Etiquette Consciousness and Performance of Adolescents)

  • This study was to examine the differences in the levels of etiquette consciousness and performance of adolescents according to individual variables (sex, school, and self-esteem), family-related variables (parents' age and education level, and subjectively perceived living standard), and. etiquette-related variables (communication on etiquette, experience of etiquette education, parents' interest of and necessity. of etiquette education). The subjects were 394 middle and high school students in Jeonju. Such statistictical methods as t-test, F-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and stepwise regression analysis were performed for this research. Results showed that the levels of etiquette consciousness and performance were slightly high. Among the domains of etiquette consciousness and performance, the levels of bowing manner and public etiquette were found to be relatively high. The etiquette consciousness and performance were different. according to adolescents' self-esteem, subjective living standard, and such etiquette variables as communication on etiquette, experience of etiquette education, parent's interest and necessity of etiquette education. Communication on etiquette was the most powerful variable influencing adolescents' etiquette performance. The results implied that the etiquette education need to be performed both in family and in school.

지역사회 거주 노인의 기침예절에 관한 지식과 실천도 (Knowledge and Compliance with Cough Etiquette among Elderly in the Community)

  • Purpose: This study sought to identify the relationship between knowledge and compliance with cough etiquette among elders in the community. Methods: Participants were 186 olders. Data were collected December 2016 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Mean scores for knowledge and compliance relating to cough etiquette were above average. Several factors were related to significant differences in level of knowledge: education level, use of items to cover a cough, Carrying a handkerchief or tissue, daily frequency of hand washing, awareness of cough etiquette, and prior education on cough etiquette. Compliance differed according to use of items to cover a cough, awareness of cough etiquette, and prior education on cough etiquette. Significant correlations were found between knowledge and compliance with cough etiquette. Awareness of cough etiquette and knowledge of cough etiquette were predictors of cough etiquette compliance. Conclusion: These findings indicate that publicity and education taking into account the characteristics of the elderly are required to improve compliance with cough etiquette among olders. The results of the study can be utilized in health promotional programs for this population.

  • This study develops an Education framework for users who need public open data for workplace etiquette education in a timely manner by mobile application. It facilitates utilizing efficiently Workplace etiquette contents that scattered in various platforms such as blogs, Youtube and web-sites run by private education agencies. Furthermore, it makes Public open data for workplace etiquette through gathering 'metadata', which is a comprehensive source of workplace etiquette. Accordingly, framework changes recognition about necessity of workplace etiquette education positively and suggests method that can promote effective workplace etiquette education. If the system in the study can provide public open data of workplace etiquette education, many young job applicants and workers will have a proper perception on it and sound workplace etiquette culture will be settled in the companies. Public data has been rising as a vital national strategic asset these days. Hopefully the public data will pave a way to discover the blue ocean in the market and open up a new type of businesses.

대학생의 생활예절에 대한 가치의식과 수행 (The Consciousness of Values and Enactments toward the Etiquette among University Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the general trends, to determine the factors of influencing the consciousness of values and enactments in the etiquette among university students, and eventually to provide the useful information for etiquette education of university students. Four-hundred and forty university students from four different universities in Cheongju city were selected, and questionnaire survey method was utilized. The data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, stepwise regression analysis, and Pearson's correlation analysis using SAS program. The results and the conclusions of this study were as follows; 1) The level of value consciousness and enactments in the etiquette were found to be 3.92 and 3.42 respectively(mean 3.00). 2) There were significant differences in the value consciousness according to major, parents' age, fathers' job, family types, and the experience of etiquette education, and there were significant differences in enactments according to sex, religion, having girl/boy friends, growth place, parents' age, and the experience of etiquette education. 3) It was found that main educator of etiquette was most highly influencing factor on consciousness of value, and sex, age were most highly influencing factors on enactments in the etiquette. 4) There were positive strong relationships between value consciousness and enactments in the etiquette.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between the attitude and performance for the etiquette of vocational high school girls. The main results were as follows: 1) The effective factor of their attitude for the etiquette is the communication level among family members. 2) There is static correlations between their attitude and performance for the etiquette. 3) In order to increase the level of their performance for the etiquette, we should raise the level of their attitude for the etiquette through harmonious communication among family members.

The relationship between mothers' knowledge and practice level of cough etiquette and their children's practice level in South Korea

  • Purpose: This study investigated the relationships between mothers' knowledge and practice level of cough etiquette and their children's practice level of cough etiquette as perceived by their mothers. Methods: This study was a descriptive correlational study. The data were collected from 160 mothers with preschoolers attending daycare centers and kindergartens in Gwangju, South Korea using self-reported questionnaires. Results: The correct answer rate for cough etiquette knowledge in mothers was 86.0%, mothers' average practice score was 33.65±4.14, and their children's average practice score was 28.39±4.85 out of 48. The correlation between mothers' cough etiquette knowledge and practice level was not statistically significant. However, mothers' cough etiquette practice was positively correlated with children's cough etiquette level as perceived by mothers (r=.35, p<.001). Conclusion: The development of a systematic cough etiquette education program and measurements for both mothers and children according to their developmental stages is important to effectively prevent respiratory infections.

혼인준비자들의 혼례예절교육 요구도 연구 (A Study on the Need for Wedding Etiquette Training for Premarital Education)

  • The purpose of this research is to assess the need for wedding etiquette training for couples in order to provide basic educational materials for brides and grooms-to-be. This survey consisted of 43 questions. The questions pertaining to the need for wedding etiquette training were measured using the 5-point Likert scale. The survey was conducted between September 1st, 2011 and December 1st, 2011. The research subjects consisted of 230 brides and grooms-to-be. Questionnaires were analyzed by frequency analysis, F-test, t-test, and correlation analysis using SPSS/win17.0. Based on our findings, we would like to make the following proposals and conclusions. First, as the importance of a wedding education program could be ascertained, educational demands need to be gathered and applied to the operation of such programs. The education and training programs need to be activated by wedding preparation education centers or the Health and Family Support Center, on weekends or week nights 3 months prior to a couple's wedding ceremony. Second, wedding etiquette training content needs to be included in existing education programs that primarily focus on helping couples adapt to married life. Such training content should specifically include the etiquette of exchanging wedding presents, home life etiquette, etiquette for the formal meeting between the families of the bride and bridegroom, pyebaek etiquette and ham (a box of wedding gifts sent by a bridegroom to his bride before the wedding) etiquette. Third, when examining the particulars of the need for wedding etiquette training, we came to the conclusion that couples should be properly educated about the meaning and value of the wedding presents, pyebaek and ham that are required during traditional wedding ceremonies. Fourth, the need for wedding etiquette training was shown to be higher for women than for men. It was also higher for individuals in specialized fields than for ordinary company employees. Wedding etiquette training programs need to be structured with such considerations in mind. Fifth, when structuring the program for wedding etiquette training, the correlation of the needs for training should be considered. It is necessary to prepare training plans by dividing the program into the following categories: the formal meeting between the families of the bride and the bridegroom, ham and wedding presents, wedding ceremony etiquette, pyebaek, and home life etiquette training.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of adolescent's background, family self-esteem, and interpersonal relations disposition on etiquette implementation. The subjects were chosen to include 1,119 adolescents attending middle or high schools. The results of this study were as follows: First, the degree of positive family self-esteem, a harmonious interpersonal relations disposition, and smooth etiquette implementation was high among those who were satisfied with school life, had talks with their parents often, and felt a need for etiquette education during teen years. Second, the variables affecting the adolescents' etiquette implementation were family self-esteem, understanding, communication, intimacy, trust in interpersonal relations and recognition of the necessity for etiquette education.

간호대학생의 기침예절 이행에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing the Compliance of Cough Etiquette in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 기침예절에 관한 지식과 이행 수준 간의 관계 및 기침예절에 관한 이행 수준에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료수집은 간호대학생 173명을 대상으로 2018년 9월 3일부터 14일까지 이루어졌다. 자료수집은 구조화된 질문지를 이용하여 자가보고하도록 하였다. 자료분석방법은 t-test, one-way ANOVA, Kruskal-wallis test, Pearson 상관분석, 단계적 다중 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 분석결과, 기침예절에 대한 지식은 손씻기 횟수에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 기침예절에 대한 이행수준은 평소 티슈를 가지고 다니는 경우, 평소 손수건을 가지고 다니는 경우, 손씻기 횟수, 기침예절에 대한 교육 필요성에 따라 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 기침예절에 관한 지식은 이행수준과 유의한 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 기침예절에 관한 이행 수준의 영향요인은 기침예절에 관한 지식, 평소 손수건을 가지고 다니는 경우, 기침예절에 대한 교육 필요성으로 총 변화량의 22%를 설명하였다. 본 연구를 통해 간호대학생의 기침예절에 대한 이행수준을 높이기 위해 평소 손수건을 휴대해야 하고 기침예절에 대한 지식을 높이기 위한 교육프로그램 개발이 필요하다.
