전치부 심미에 대한 관심과 접근은 환자의 필요와 요구에 의해 시작되어 다양한 재료와 술식을 통해 발전해 왔다. Esthetic dentistry의 선구자라 불리우는 Charles Pincus의 1967년 글에서 잘 묘사되어 있듯이 심미치료의 시작와 끝은 환자에 의해 결정되어진다는 전제 조건은 진단과 치료계획단계에서 늘 우선 되어지는 부분이기도 한다. 술자의 입장인 치과의사들은 이러한 환자의 필요와 요구를 만족시키기 위해 여러 가지 메뉴를 환자에게 제시하게 된다. Pincus의 글에서 Cosmetic Grinding라고 표현되어졌던 가장 보존적인 접근은 minimal invasion이라는 시각에서 접근하면 매우 효과적인 심미 향상의 한 술식이라 할 수 있다. 몇몇 개의 임상 증례를 통해 cosmetic grinding의 심미 개선의 치료 술식으로서의 가치와 한계에 대해 재조명해보고자 한다.

Replacements for natural dentition must fulfil many criteria. An important aspect, especially for the patient, is aesthetic consideration. The shape and colour can be important factors in the aesthetic success of an anterior restoration. In order to allow for proper shape; the outline form, the spatial position of individual teeth and the surface characteristics must be considered. For the colour; translucency, value, chroma and hue must be expressed exactly. The dentist and technicians should catch up these very specific characteristics of the patient and convert them accurately to the restorations with the simplest way.

The use of fluoride and other preventive methods caused a dramatic decline in dental caries and the need for restorative dentistry. In our modern society that places a high value on appearance, emphasis is now shifting towards esthetic dentistry which has experienced a high popularity with the development of bonding techniques and materials including porcelain and composite. To satisfy patients wanting whiter teeth and a better looking smile, there are many treatment options ranging from full crown coverage to conservative procedures such as bleaching. Whether bleaching should be combined with other esthetic procedures or used alone depends on the type of discoloration and the patient's willingness to accept the various treatment options. Therefore, in order to obtain a successful esthetic outcome, careful diagnosis and treatment planning followed by consultation with the patient is of utmost importance.

There are several factors affecting the effectiveness of polymerization of the esthetic restorative materials. Among those factors, the initiator. camphoroquinone has the unique characteristic. of which the light sensitivity is very dependent on the wavelength of blue light. Camphoroquinone shows the most light absorption ability in the wavelength range of 470nm. So most of clinically used light curing systems adopt this phenomenon as their polymerization mechanism. The most popular way of light curing system is standard 40 second curing. But the problem of standard curing technique shows the rapid increase of resin viscosity followed by the acceleration of polymerization and the limited resin flow, resulted in reduction of the physicalproperty of restoration by retained stress. The object of this study was to verify the effects of narrow-banded wavelength on the microhardness of the esthetic restorative materials. a composite resin and a compomer, using filters which have peak wave length of 430nm, 450nm, 470nm, respectively. The results were as follows: 1. All the experimental groups showed lower hardness value than the control group. 2. In DyractAP, the hardness value by wavelength showed the same changing pattern on both upper and lower surfaces. 3. In DenFil, the hardness value by wavelength showed different changing pattern on upper and lower surfaces. 4. The hardness ratio showed similar pattern to the hardness variation of lower surface. but there was no significant difference between measurement in 10 minutes and 3 days later, besides the increase of hardness value.

This investing was carried out to evaluate the alteration of stress distribution on teeth and esthetic crowns. Analyzing the stress distribution by the two-dimensional finite element methods, a model of lower 1st molar according to the porcelain fused metal crown an the porcelain fused glass ceramic core crown and the all glass ceramic crown. 1. The pattern of stress distribution showed no apparent differences. 2. The greatest von Mises values were concentrated around the central fossa of all esthetic crowns. The greatest Maximum principle value were concentrated around the interface between the base of esthetic crown and the abutment tooth. It was found that the apatite glass ceramic could be applicable for use in dental crown prosthesis.

고도로 발달되고 있는 산업 사회에서의 디자인의 의미는 기업경영전략의 핵심이며 나아가 국가 경쟁력을 결정짓는 중요한 이슈이며 지속적인 경쟁우위를 획득하기 위한 수단이 되고 있다. 그리고 이러한 현상은 제품의 기술적 기능보다는 제품의 심미성이 제품 디자인에 중요한 특성이 되고 있다는 사실을 말해주고 있다. 본 연구에서는 사용자의 제품선호도와 제품 평가에 영향을 주는 심미적 영향요소를 규명하기 위해 심미적 영향요소에 관한 선행연구를 토대로, 8가지의 심미적 영향요소를 선정하였다 선정된 8개의 심미적영향요소인 단순/복잡(simplicity), 균형(balance), 통일(unity), 율동(rhythm), 시대성/스타일(style), 독특성(novelty), 전형성(typicality), 비례(proportion)를 가지고 사용자 선호와 제품평가에 영향을 주는 심미적 영향요소를 파악하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 제품별로 사용자 선호에 중요한 영향을 미치는 심미적 영향요소의 중요도 정도와 고려해야 할 요소를 밝혀 제품디자인에 있어 심미적 영향요소의 가이드라인을 제시하여 제품디자인 시 활용할 수 있는 자료를 제공하고자 하였다.

The purpose of this review was to suggest practical criteria for the clinical translucency evaluation of direct esthetic restorative materials, and to review the translucency with these criteria. For the evaluation of reported translucency values, measuring instrument and method, specimen thickness, background color, and illumination should be scrutinized. Translucency parameter (TP) of 15 to 19 could be regarded as the translucency of 1 mm thick human enamel. Visual perceptibility threshold for translucency difference in contrast ratio (${\Delta}CR$) of 0.07 could be transformed into ${\Delta}TP$ value of 2. Translucency differences between direct and indirect resin composites were perceivable (${\Delta}TP>2$). Universal and corresponding flowable resin composites did not show perceivable translucency differences in most products. Translucency differed significantly by the product within each shade group, and by the shade group within each product. Translucency of human enamel and perceptibility threshold for translucency difference may be used as criteria for the clinical evaluation of translucency of esthetic restorative materials.

Korean Costume has long history and functional aesthetic value compared with the traditional costume of other contries. But nowadays korean Costume is becoming more and more distant from the people in the world wide current. To domiciliate and spread out the Practical Korean Costume which the goverment selected as CI symbol representing Korean culture in the trend of times. We investigated and analysed systemically the consciousness of customers and the details of design. This study consist of theoritical study and positive study. Theoritical study has the esthetic characteristic(structure characteristics formative characteristic and the characteristic of color) As the conciousness of people change in modern life which everything change in high speed the esthetic characteristics of Korean Costume have changed in structure.

Closely connecting Well-Being culture with our traditional eating culture. we can predict next generation Kimchi refrigerator trend with this research. In the highly developing industrial society, design has been playing the central role in the managerial strategy of a company and has been one of the central agendas in determining the economical competence of a country, and has also been regarded as a means to acquire sustainable superior competence. Thus, these trends suggest that the aesthetic value of product has become more important than its technological function. In this study we reviewed theoretically esthetic factors influencing the preference and the evaluation of a product and made a list of eight esthetic factors based on various referential studies which include simplicity, balance, unity, rhythm, style, novelty, typicality, and proportion. Also on the point of view of design, it is necessary to find out definitely the consumer preference frame the relationship among design preference design image design attribute. Will give you guidelines on which designers can select and design some more objective and reliable design factors, finding out the relation of cause and effect by which they can know what kind of product designs their consumers like and how the popular image which that product offer is composed of. We investigated the esthetic factors affecting consumers preferences and the basis for evaluating a product. Aimed at providing materials for developing product design by presenting an ,esthetic guideline product design by presenting an esthetic guideline and to put these materials to practical use. Investigated other considered elements classified by manufactures and importance of esthetic factors and its influence on consumer tastes . All of these result, It could not conclude all of the adjective design image and design factors of every consumer, but through consumer reaction framework consumer are response and prefer the products which design image have. and then understand prefered design image are influenced to design factor's and could be apply to new design development.

본 연구는 대학의 피부미용 전공교육에서 문제중심학습(PBL) 적용에 따른 학습효과를 알아보고, 피부미용 교육경쟁력을 강화할 수 있는 교수·학습방법 개발을 위한 기초자료 제공을 목적으로 하였다. 이에 본 연구는 H대학교에 개설된 피부미용 전공 교과목인 "동양요법" 수강 학생 15명을 대상으로 PBL 수업을 적용하여 실증적 교육효과 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 PBL 수업을 참여한 후 학습자들의 문제해결 능력과 협력적 자기효능감의 평균값이 상승하여 유의미한 차이를 보였으며, 이에 따라 PBL 교수학습법의 효과성이 확인되어 피부미용 교육 현장에서 학습자들의 문제해결 능력과 협력적 자기효능감 상승을 위한 효과적인 교수학습법으로 제안하는 바이다.
