This study was to develop environmental education activities using advertisement as well as investigate the effect of environmental education using advertisements on children's eco-friendly attitudes and environmental preservation knowledge. The effect of the environmental education activity using advisements was examined based on 24 children aged five attending a daycare center located in Incheon metropolitan city (12 in the experimental group and 12 in the control group). This study was executed 12 times (twice a week) in both the experimental group and comparative group as the environmental education using advertisements was developed and executed in the experimental group as environmental education according to the life theme's in the Nuri curriculum of the comparative group. The instruments used in this study were the children's eco-friendly attitude scale (two factors, 18 items) and environmental preservation knowledge scale (four factors, 16 items). Children's eco-friendly attitude and environmental preservation knowledge were assessed by pre-tests and post-tests using the SPSS ver. 18.0 program. Results indicated that after 6 weeks application, the experimental group exhibited higher scores than the control group in the children's eco-friendly attitude as well as environmental preservation knowledge. This study showed that environmental education activities using advertisement had a positive effect on children's eco-friendly attitudes and environmental preservation knowledge.

본 연구는 유아가 함께 참여할 수 있도록 녹색성장교육에 기초한 프로그램을 구성하고 이 프로그램이 유아의 환경보전지식, 태도 및 행동에 미치는 효과를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 녹색성장교육에 기초한 프로그램은 '생태계', '에너지', '자원', '녹색시민의식'으로 크게 4가지 내용 영역으로 구성하였고, 각 내용 영역에 가장 적합하다고 판단되는 구체적인 활동을 20회기로 계획하여 만 5세 유아를 대상으로 프로그램을 실시하였다. 프로그램 실시 후 환경보전지식, 환경보전태도, 환경보전 행동에서 실험집단 유아의 점수가 비교집단 유아보다 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타나 녹색성장교육에 기초한 프로그램이 유아의 환경보전지식 습득과 환경보전태도 및 행동의 향상에 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 유아교육현장에서 녹색성장교육을 실행하는데 많은 어려움을 호소하고 있는 현실을 반영하여, 녹색성장교육을 실행하고자 하는 유아 교사에게 구체적이고 실질적인 정보를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

본 논문은 현대미술 감상을 통한 환경교육이 유아의 환경보전지식, 환경보전태도 및 미술 감상능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 경기도 평택에 위치한 D어린이집의 만5세 유아 총 30명(실험집단 15명, 비교집단15명)을 대상으로 현대미술 감상을 통한 환경교육을 실시하였다. 사전검사와 사후검사의 차이를 분석한 결과, 실험집단의 환경보전지식, 환경보전태도 및 미술 감상능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 활용하여 유아교육현장에서 유아의 환경보전지식, 환경보전태도 및 미술 감상능력을 증진 할 수 있는 기초자료 및 교수방법을 제시하는 것에 그 목적이 있다.

Since the Rio Convention of 1992, the international community has displayed a heightened consciousness concerning the Earth environment and domestic attention on the said subject has also rapidly increased. An Ecological life style signifies the conscious efforts to preserve the environment interpreted into quotidien action. For the realization of conservation in action, an understanding of the specific details of environmental preservation must precede. The environmental conservation action in the homes was systematically approached in this study as an input-process-output and feedback cycle. The input phage is the consumer oriented buying stage, the while the process is the actual use of the products and the output stage consists of categorizing and producing wales, the feodbach being recycling of resources. At each stage the attitude which is devoted to environmental consciousness plays a big ride in the actual preservation of the Earth environment. in order to effectively conserve the environment, efforts displayed by the business sector is as important as implementation of environmentally conscious action at home. During the process of producing and distributing products, and attitude and action in preservation efforts are crncial and the responsibility ageat. For the business sector to effectively initiate environmental preservation into action, institutional support from the government and cooperation from the homes is of essence. Consolidated efforts to atter the superfrony life style into ecological life styles and ralues is essential to solve the most important socio-economic issue of the 90's of preserving the earth.

The resident attitude for preservation and development of amenity in Eulsuk island and its downstream area at estuary of Nakdong river in Korea were investigated by the questionnaires and the field surveys. Based on the results, the characteristics of this study area are the natural ecological preservation area, natural environmental preservation area and curtural assets for migratory birds. And there are a estuary bank, a Dadae beach and a Molundae park. Special amenities are (1) the light (sunrise, sunset etc), (2) the water(river, sea etc.), (3) the air(fresh wind, beautiful sound etc.), (4) the land space(beautiful view, recreation field, reed area, pine forest etc.) and (5) the stream(dancing of migratory birds, water flow, folk dance, history remains etc.). But at present, the environmental qualities as health, aesthetics safety, amenity and culture are deteriorated by development. So the number of migratory birds are decreasing. The residents desired that in future this area be use for the recreation space, the park and the natural leaning fields etc, as well as the restoration of destroyed resources.

환경문제의 해결을 위해서는 공학, 행정, 법률 등 여러 분야에서의 노력이 필요하지만 가장 근본적인 해결책은 국민 각자가 환경 보전에 대한 실천의지를 갖도록 하는 교육에서 찾아야 한다. 특히 유년기 즉 초등학생 시절부터 환경교육을 통하여 환경 보전 습관을 형성하는 것이 바로 환경을 지키는 최선의 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 초등학교 제7차 교육과정에 포함된 환경 관련 내용을 추출하여 글쓰기, 그리기, 자연의 소리듣기, 음악 듣기, 보고서 작성, 퀴즈 풀기 등의 다양한 활동을 통하여 환경에 관련된 지식, 기능을 습득하고 환경을 지키는 생활 습관과 태도를 형성하도록 하는 시스템을 설계하였다. 특히 최신의 적절한 학습자료를 제공하고 학생들의 창의성과 자율성이 충분히 발휘될 수 있도록 하기 위해 웹 기반 시스템으로 설계하였고, 구성주의 학습원리를 기반으로 학습자가 자기주도적으로 활동함으로써 환경을 지키려는 실천의지를 기르도록 하는 학습 모형을 설계하고 적용하였다. 또한 학습실, 환경 자료실, 환경 퀴즈실, 작품 전시실 등을 통하여 다양한 학습 활동과 동기유발을 지원할 수 있도록 하였고 교사는 학생들의 학습 상황을 쉽게 파악하고 평가할 수 있도록 구현하였다. 따라서 본 시스템은 학생들에게 환경과 관련된 지식, 기능, 태도, 참여 등의 환경교육의 목표를 달성하는데 있어서 그 효과가 기대된다.

The purpose of this study were to make a comparison with the level of environmental consciousness between the livestock farmer and the reference groups( peasant, office worker, housewife and student) and to identify the variables which have an influence on the level of their role performance for environmental protection & preservation. Data for this study were collected from 822 cases including the livestock farmer(109), the peasant(67), the office worker(140), the housewife(119) and the student(356). The SPSS software program and statistics such as frequencies, x2, ANOVA, multiple regression analysis, Chronbach's ${\alpha}$ and factor analysis were used to analyze the data for this study. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1. The pro-environmental attitude score(environmental sensitivity and attitude of environmental protection & preservation) the groups of office worker and housewife is shown higher than the groups of livestock farmer, peasant and student. 2. The consciousness of environmental problem is relatively low to the group of the livestock farmer compared with the reference groups. 3. As a result of multiple regression analysis, four determinants such as locus of control, lifestyle, environmental sensitivity, and knowledge of environmental issues explained 38.8% of the livestock farmer's role performance for the environmental protection & preservation.

As the global environmental crisis has been emerged as an important problem threatening the survival of the mankind, the environmental problems are recognized as a great issue governing the destiny of the whole mankind as well as a national problem. Therefore, more active attitude playing a leading role of global and local environmental preservation is required, escaping from conventional passive position for the minimization of economic damages according to global environment regulations. This study evaluates the 150 university students' consciousnesses and attitudes of the seriousness, major policies and issues of environmental pollutions, extracts their consciousness of environment and practicable tasks for the 21st century and is to give the basic reference materials of environmental policy development.

The purposes of this study were to investigate visitors' environmental attitudes of educational tourism, environmental preservation, and regional economic benefits satisfaction through the Chunsuman Bay Birdwatching Festival. The results of this study were as follows: First, the degree of educational satisfaction was high and this festival provided environmental preservation mind for visitors and local residents as well. The festival participants had a positive attitude toward migratory birds. Especially, the residents who had negative perceptions toward migratory birds due to physical harms of agricultural crops was positively changed after visiting this festival. So there should be prepared for more strategic approaches for residents' visiting and participating this birdwatching festival. Second, while the number of tourists was increased, it did not make a practical contribution to residents' income Particularly, farmers' satisfaction was low. So there should be more strategic programs to improve residents' economic rewards for sustainable development.

The development of science and technology not only improved the quality of life of human being, but also brought about environmental problems. Consequently, consensus has been established that early environmental education for youngsters is critical for the preservation of clean environment. A conventional way of teaching has not been very effective for changing their attitude and behavior regarding environmental problems. STS program, which has been one of the major trend in science education, intends to teach science through everyday experience rather than knowledge. This study purports to examine the effectiveness of STS program on environmental problems compared to conventional teaching method. Six week program was developed and applied to subchapter 'Environmental Pollutions & Our Lives' of 3rd grade middle school science text book. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. STS program was significantly effective in changing students' attitude(p<.001). It was effective not only changing their thinking but also changing their behavior. 2. There was no difference between the STS program and conventional teaching method in improving students' knowledge(p>.05). 3. The correlation between the level of knowledge achievement and the attitude on environment was very low(r=.0564,p>.05).
