맞춤형 리모델링에 대한 실효성 검증 연구 - 리모델링을 추진중, 완공한 공동주택을 중심으로 - (Investigation into the Effectiveness on Customized Remodeling - Focusing on apartment houses completed during remodeling -)

  • The present remodeling makes almost no difference from rebuilding as all the building materials are removed remaining frame structure only. And, in case of vertical extension of building, higher construction cost and safety problem occur. The Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, therefore, recommends customized remodeling that can be made in light of the resident' needs such as parking lot, elevator, bathroom, and room for the alternative of remodeling of vertical extension of building. The purpose of this study is to present real data that can be referred to the constructor's decision making before starting the remodeling, by investigating and analyzing the weight and importance between evaluation factors for customized remodeling at the completed time of remodeling. Accordingly, the factors were divided into environmental factor, social factor, and economical factor, and the survey was performed for the residents living in remodeling houses. In addition, for the professionals, AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) has been carried out for the priority in the customized remodeling. For environmental factor, the level of importance made difference from that before remodeling, except parking level. For social factor, every item, including psychological satisfaction and community satisfaction, made difference. For economical factor, the recognition level of importance in rent made difference, except sale price of the factor for price satisfaction. In case of the factor for cost satisfaction, it was checked that construction cost and administration cost both could be considered important. As a result of AHP, the most importantly emphasized item was construction cost, and sale price, administration cost, residence structure, and parking lot were followed by priority in order. This study could contribute to reliably settle down customized remodeling by giving reasonable and substantial help from the analysis of the differences in the customized remodeling items before/after the remodeling.

온실가스 감축을 위한 배출권거래제와 탄소세의 정책혼합 효과 분석 (Green-house GAS Reduction Through the Environmental Policy Mixes Both Environmental Trading and Carbon Taxes)

  • 본 연구는 한국에서 온실가스 감축을 위해 온실가스 배출권거래제 또는 탄소세, 그리고 두 정책수단이 혼합하여 도입될 경우 한국의 경제, 에너지소비, 그리고 온실가스 배출량에 미치는 파급효과를 분석하였다. 연산일반균형모형인 KORTEM을 이용한 다양한 시나리오 분석 결과, 탄소세만 부과하는 경우에는 배출권거래제만을 도입하는 경우보다 온실가스 감축의 경제적 비용이 상대적으로 높을 것으로 예측되었다. 따라서 한국은 온실가스 감축을 위한 정책포트폴리오를 설계함에 있어, 국내배출권거래제를 핵심정책으로 도입하며 가능한 많은 기업 및 경제주체들을 배출권거래에 참여시키고, 거래에 참여하지 않는 경제부문의 특성을 반영한 보완적 정책수단을 도입하는 방향으로 정책포트폴리오가 설계되어야 한다.

염색폐수의 생물학적 전처리 조건변화에 의한 최적 펜톤시약 투입량 결정에 관한 연구 (Optimum Dosage of Fenton's Reagent for the Dyeing Wastewater by the Different Conditions of Biological Treatment as the Pre-treatment Process)

  • The consecutive combination process of a biological process as the pre-treatment and a chemical process as the post-treatment is applied for the dyeing wastewater. The poor efficiency of biological treatment using pure oxygen makes the chemical treatment cost high. It is necessary to improve the efficiency of biological treatment in order to reduce the cost of chemical treatment. The purpose of this paper is to find the minimum dose of chemical reagent to fit the Discharged Water Quality Standards for the different biological treatment effluents. Results revealed that the minimum dosage of Fenton's reagent lead to save the cost of chemical treatment based on the guideline dose in the treatment plant. The possible maximum saving reagents was up to $70\%$ for the effluent of the pilot plant packed with the carrier imbedded microorganisms which were selected from the present treatment plant.

Cost-based optimization of shear capacity in fiber reinforced concrete beams using machine learning

  • The shear capacity of beams is an essential parameter in designing beams carrying shear loads. Precise estimation of the ultimate shear capacity typically requires comprehensive calculation methods. For steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) beams, traditional design methods may not accurately predict the interaction between different parameters affecting ultimate shear capacity. In this study, artificial neural network (ANN) modeling was utilized to predict the ultimate shear capacity of SFRC beams using ten input parameters. The results demonstrated that the ANN with 30 neurons had the best performance based on the values of root mean square error (RMSE) and coefficient of determination (R2) compared to other ANN models with different neurons. Analysis of the ANN model has shown that the clear shear span to depth ratio significantly affects the predicted ultimate shear capacity, followed by the reinforcement steel tensile strength and steel fiber tensile strength. Moreover, a Genetic Algorithm (GA) was used to optimize the ANN model's input parameters, resulting in the least cost for the SFRC beams. Results have shown that SFRC beams' cost increased with the clear span to depth ratio. Increasing the clear span to depth ratio has increased the depth, height, steel, and fiber ratio needed to support the SFRC beams against shear failures. This study approach is considered among the earliest in the field of SFRC.

Optimal sustainable design of steel-concrete composite footbridges considering different pedestrian comfort levels

  • Given the increased interest in enhancing structural sustainability, the current study sought to apply multiobjective optimization to a footbridge with a steel-concrete composite I-girder structure. It was considered as objectives minimizing the cost for building the structure, the environmental impact assessed by CO2 emissions, and the vertical accelerations created by human-induced vibrations, with the goal of ensuring pedestrian comfort. Spans ranging from 15 to 25 meters were investigated. The resistance of the slab's concrete, the thickness of the slab, the dimensions of the welded steel I-profile, and the composite beam interaction degree were all evaluated as design variables. The optimization problem was handled using the Multiobjective Harmony Search (MOHS) metaheuristic algorithm. The optimization results were used to generate a Pareto front for each span, allowing us to assess the correlations between different objectives. By evaluating the values of design variables in relation to different levels of pedestrian comfort, it was identified optimal values that can be employed as a starting point in predimensioning of the type of structure analyzed. Based on the findings analysis, it is possible to highlight the relationship between the structure's cost and CO2 emission objectives, indicating that cost-effective solutions are also environmentally efficient. Pedestrian comfort improvement is especially feasible in smaller spans and from a medium to a maximum level of comfort, but it becomes expensive for larger spans or for increasing comfort from minimum to medium level.

전문서비스 로봇 하드웨어 비용추정 관계식 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Hardware Cost Estimation Equation of Professional Service Robot)

  • 본 연구에서는 모수추정법을 활용하여 국내 전문서비스 로봇 개발 데이터를 기초로 H/W비용추정을 위한 방안제시와 더불어 로봇의 적용 환경여건에 따라 달라지는 비용을 추정할 수 있도록 그 항목과 가중치를 도출하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 모수추정법을 활용하여 전문서비스 로봇 비용추정 방정식을 개발하였으며, 환경여건 고려를 위하여 FGI, 델파이를 통해 조정계수 항목과 이에 따른 가중치를 도출하였다. 분석결과 무게, 부피, 제작난이도가 반영된 비용 추정 방정식을 개발하며, 추정된 비용을 환경적 요소에 따라 조정하기 위한 방진/방수, 내열/내한, 안전, 시험, 기술혁신의 내용을 반영한 관계식을 도출할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 전문서비스 로봇의 비용을 추정할 수 있는 객관적인 근거를 마련할 수 있었으며, 이를 기반으로 전문서비스 로봇 H/W개발비용 추정을 위한 지속적인 연구로 이어질 것이다. 향후에는 다양한 전문서비스 로봇을 통해 풍부한 데이터를 수집하여 신뢰성을 높이고, 기능항목 발굴을 통해 모형 강화를 유도할 것이다.

우리나라 근해어업의 CO2 배출 저감비용함수 추정 (A study on Estimation of CO2 Abatement Cost in Korean Offshore Fishery)

  • 본 연구는 파리협정의 효과적인 이행을 위한 국내 환경정책이 어업분야에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 수협 수산경제연구원의 어업경영조사 자료를 바탕으로 근해어업의 어획물 생산과 이산화탄소가 동시에 산출된다는 가정 하에 근해어업의 비용구조를 분석하였다. 근해어업의 이산화탄소($CO_2$) 배출량은 수협의 면세유 공급량 자료(2003~2016)를 활용하여 도출하였다. Translog 형태의 비용함수를 추정하였으며, 분석에는 SUR(Seemingly Unrelated Regression)모형을 사용하였다. 비용함수 추정결과 표본기간동안의 어획량과 $CO_2$ 배출량 사이에 약처분성이 존재하는 것으로 나타났으며, 한계저감비용(MAC)은 연평균 1,457원으로 추산되었다. 또한 같은 기간 동안 마력당 1%의 $CO_2$를 저감하고자 할 때 MAC는 2.2% 상승하고, 어획량 1ton당 1%의 $CO_2$를 저감하고자 할 때 MAC는 1.4% 상승하는 것으로 각각 분석되었다.

  • The comparison of solar energy technologies with conventional technologies involves more than just comparing the costs of supplying energy and provding capacity. Solar technologies supply energy in a sustainable manner while having minimal effects on the environment. When choosing between solar energy technologies and conventional technologies, first cost is a important factor. The environmental and other social benifits of using solar energy technologies contrasts sharply with the environmental degradation and social costs resulting from the use of conventional technologies. These hidden costs, sometimes called "social cost", are not included in conventional economics. This paper is emphasized that the consideration of social costs effects comparisons between renewable and conventional energy technologies is of importance.

환경오염 저감비용의 소득계층별 분담 (The Distribution of Pollution Abatement Costs among Income Classes in Korea)

  • Environmental regulation affects real income distribution as well as resource allocation. The consumers' quality of life is sure to be improved by the pollution abatement, but consumers should pay part of the abatement cost through the increased prices of consumption goods they purchase. This paper computes pollution abatement costs that each of 15 income classes in Korea paid indirectly by consuming goods whose prices include the abatement cost in 1993. The distribution of pollution abatement costs among income classes turns out to be regressive as expected.

공동주택에서 지열 냉난방 시스템 적용시 경제성 분석 (Economic Analsys of Cooling-Heating System Using Ground Source Heat in Multi Family Apartment)

  • 본 연구에서는 파급효과가 큰 공동주택에서 지열 냉난방 시스템의 경제성을 아파트 분양평형, 운전시간, 냉난방 및 급탕 설치형태별로 구분하여 초기 공사비 증가, 운전비 절감액, 초기 투자비 회수기간등을 산정하였다. 냉난방 및 급탕 운전시간이 많을수록 초기 공사비 증가액에 비해 운전비용 절감액이 커 초기 투자비 회수기간이 단축되었다. 전용면적이 클수록 투자회수 기간이 길었으며 냉난방 및 급탕 설치형태에서는 냉난방을 지열원, 급탕을 폐열회수한 경우가 초기 투자 회수기간이 가장 짧았다. 기존 시스템(패키지 에어콘, LNG 난방 및 급탕)에 비해 냉난방, 급탕을 모두 지열로 이용하는 경우, 냉난방은 지열, 급탕은 폐열을 이용하는 경우, 냉난방은 지열, 급탕은 LNG인 경우에 공사비가 $m^2$당 각각 약 72,000원, 66,900원, 62,300원 정도 증가하였다.
