This landscape design is a work for which we selected the square of Sejong Center for the Performing Arts as a object area, drew inhuman factors, and tried to restore them to human environment. This plan assumes that excessive urban environment results from disorder and man can keep it in order and restore it to human environment through the progressive process of speculation. In this plan, we included the least parking space and nearby roads in the object area to maximize the location feature and the symbol of cultural space, and planned that the object area may play its role of open space in the downtown. To grant the symbol of culture space, we established the progressive process of speculation and the relationship of mu, heaven and earth, and culture, geometrically diagrammatized it, combined the circular and rectangular lines derived from it, and suggested a plan. Urban environment will continue to change in the future. However, as long as it is not ensured that the change will progress upward, city would be far from human environment anyhow. Effects to display inhuman space overlooked in the downtown and restore it to human environment for citizen and location for man, should continue.

For the purpose of building up the future direction for the development and usage of Anmyundo, this paper is intended to collect the basic sources of Anmyundo and to analyze the consciousness of its development direction, which was surveyed on local residents and visitors. The result shows that local residents are not fully satisfied with its environment(59.6 point), but natural environment(74.2 point) turns out the most influential factor of satisfaction and living environment(66.0 point), social economic environment(48.1 point) follow the next. Satisfied with its natural environment which includes good scenery and a lot of environment resources, residents and visitors are discontented with living environment and social economic environment. In terms of "development" and "conservation", the responses of residents are clearly divided into both sides in the same level by each 27.7%. On the other hand, visitors support "conservation"(36.8%) rather than "development"(22.8%) and prefer to keep its present natural environment as a environment study place and rest area.
This is a study about public-regeneration-architecture design of the 3rd world damaged by the development of capital society of the 20th century and from the perspective of economically poor, anti-capitalist development from non-profit design organization. Active among such non-profit design organizations, the sustainable design characteristics of public-regeneration-architecture of the Architecture for Humanity will be discussed. I help it so as a continuous possibility design to have been given to public-regeneration-architecture of the Architecture for Humanity is small, and I establish a construction space at a few costs to people in a situation to be environmentally interior economic, to be cultural, and I am large, and to be able to generate profitable construction by environment at activation of a local community and worldwide dimensions. I look through a sustainable design way of this study classifies it to cultural sustainability that ecology-cultural approach in the environmental sustainability result ecology - central approach, and how I was applied to materials of construction, color, a pattern, a construction method, space configuration etc. There is the meaning to try to analyze a characteristic of a sustainable design to have appeared to public-regeneration-architecture of the Architecture for Humanity which I make a symbiosis, and you can live on it how in the present cities that city poor floor will add to.

University campuses, in Korea, experienced expansion during the 1970's and exceeded its capacity in the 1980's. On the other hand, universities needed to deal with increasing capacity and expansion of its facilities. This study is carried out in three steps : developing the factors of environmental friendly assessment, designing an assessment table based on specific categories, and applying the categories to the campus of Seoul National University. The assessment factors and assessment table were designed through a survey of experts in landscaping, architecture, and urban planning. The elements of major categories were classified as follows; 1) Management of land and accessibility, 2) Pollution and waste matter, 3) Energy, 4) Natural resources, 5) Operation, maintenance and management of environmental friendly campus. And, this study classified five major categories into twenty subcategories on the evaluation of the environmental friendly campus. The twenty subcategories include various fields such as architecture, landscape architecture, environment, urban design, and social sciences etc., profound studies at this line should make more precise assesment guidelines.
A coal mine drainage sludge(designated as CMDS) is mainly generated during physicochemical treatment or electrical purification of the drainage abandoned mine that include dissolved heavy metal. To understand the possibility of an application of the dehydrated CMDS as the landfill cover medium of hygienic a reclaimed ground, an laboratory experiment was performed to investigate the physicochemical and geoengineering characteristics of the dehydrated CMDS. To improve the geoengineering characteristics of the dehydrated CMDS, the liquid limit, plasticity limit test, compaction method test, strength test, and hydraulic conductivity test ware performed with the lithification material mixed sludge. When the mixed ratio of the sludge and the lithification material was more than 1:06, the compaction method was A method, the moisture content less than 33.5%, the strength of mixed sludge was $8.2kg\;cm^{-2}$, the hydraulic conductivity was $2.7\times10^{-6}cm\;sec^{-1}$, the sludge was up to the landfill standard of US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA).

An end-of-life strategy is concerned with how to disassemble a product and what to do with each of the resultingdisassembled parts. A sound understanding of the end-of-life strategy at the early design stage could improve theease of disassembly and recycling in an efficient and effective manner. Therefore, the end-of-life decisionmaking for environmental conscious design has become a great concern to product manufacturers. We introduce a novel concept ofeco-architecture which represents a scheme by which the physical componentsare allocated to end-of-life modules. An end-of-life module is a physical chunk of connected components or afeasible subassembly which can be simultaneously processed by the same end-of-life option without furtherdisassembly. In this paper, a method for analyzing the eco-architecture of a product at the configuration designstage is proposed. It produces an optimal eco-architecture under the given environmental regulations. To dealwith the case ofa complex product, the method is extended for analyzing hierarchical eco-architecture.

This study aims to estimate location of land mammals habitat by analyzing spatial data and investigate how to apply environmental DNA monitoring methodology to lotic system in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. Environmental DNA sampling points are selected through spatial analysis with QGIS open source program by overlaying Kernel density of wild boar(Sus scrofa), elevation, slope and land-cover map, and 81 samples are collected. After 240 mL of water was filtered in each sample, metabarcoding technique using MiMammal universal primer was applied in order to get a whole list of mammal species whose DNA particles contained in filtered water. 8 and 22 samples showed DNA of wild boar and water deer, respectively. DNA of raccoon dog, Eurasian otter, and Siberian weasel are also detected through metabarcoding analysis. This study is valuable that conducted in outdoor lotic system. The study suggests a new wildlife monitoring methodology integrating overlayed geographic data and environmental DNA.

Since the late 20th century, post-modern society has needed new styles in environmental design. The land art begun during that time supplied the momentum for the birth of the hybrid environmental design. The new design approach, focusing on land form and landscaping begun with land-form architecture, raised a powerful current of hybridization in the environmental design genres. The new picturesque landscape design distinguished by manipulated land forms and sublimated aesthetics appeared under the influence of land art and land-form architecture. Similarly, landscape urbanism was formed by the fusion of landscape architecture and urbanism. Therefore, the representative hybrid styles in environmental design appear as new picturesque landscape design, land-form architecture and landscape urbanism. With the new, strong interest in land and landscape, this same new interest was given to 'time' on account of the dynamics and indeterminacy of urban society. This new interest in land and time gave rise to new hybrid methodologies for environmental design such as mapping, diagramming and folding. These three tools have been applied most comprehensively in landscape urbanism. The 'fold' is the most popular design tool for most of the hybrid genres. The 'diagram' is the second-most popular design tool mostly for landscape urbanism and land-form architecture. Mapping is being actively applied to landscape urbanism and passively applied in new picturesque landscape design. In general, landscape urbanism seems to be a timely and suitable alternative for contemporary urban society. It displays very high potentials in the regeneration of the locality through the comprehensive hybrid methodology. It is necessary to actively engage in and develop landscape urbanism fit the local needs.
