The purpose of this study was to investigate middle school student's environmental literacy level and variables that affect their environmental literacy. Of the students, 987 in 7th grade from big cities, medium sized cities and mountain areas participated in this study, and their environmental literacy was measured through 88 questions (27 items for knowledge, 27 items for attitude, 25 items for behavior, 9 items for skill) with 14 demographic variables. Forty-five minutes were given to answer the questions. Statistical analysis was conducted on each of the categories(knowledge, attitude, behavior, skill) that make up environmental literacy and factor analysis was also conducted to investigate variables that affect environmental literacy. Results indicated that the correlation between attitude and behavior is the strongest. Also, it was found that a demographic variable might affect one, two, or sometimes all categories of the environmental literacy. Especially students' perceptions, knowledge and attitude of science positively affect all categories of environmental literacy.

The environment is the important resource to use as well as to conserve for the development. Since 1990s, it has accentuated the importance of the environment and tried to conserve the environment in many areas. Among many area, the building industry has played a role to destruct the environment for providing the living decent space and brought the environmental affect. Therefore, the building industry should endeavor to mitigate the environmental affect. In building life cycle, it consumes the energy and natural resources. But it is difficult to evaluate the environmental affect during the whole building life. It is impossible to calculate the environmental affect without the much time and effort. Therefore. it requires the easy and handing program to calculate the affect to environment in each building life cycle. Until now, many program for assessing the affect to the environment have been developed and limitedly used because of the assessment scope and contents. In this paper, it aimed at developing the assessment program of LCA, focused on the energy consumption and carbon-dioxide emission compared with the domestic and foreign concerned programs. The developed program is divided into 3 areas; construction, maintenance, demolition.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of environmental education program through various instructional media on pro-environmental attitudes of forth graders in an elementary school in Seoul. The students were divided into an experimental group and a control group. A questionnaire was used to survey the effects of applying environmental education program through various instructional media. The SPSS 12.0 program was used to analyze the results. The student in the experimental group acquired a higher level of pro-environmental attitudes than the control group did. The environmental education program through various instructional media used in this study were effective especially in dealing with the environmental educational subdomains such as verbal commitment, actual commitment, affect. The major results of this study were as follows. First, environmental education program through various instructional media had a positive effect on the environmental concerns and needs for learning of environmental problems. Second, the group by environmental education program through various instructional media showed the significant difference(p<.001) on the pro-environmental attitudes as it proved those are effect on 3 subdomains of verbal commitment, actual commitment and affect. Third, environmental education program through various instructional media had a positive correlation(from 585 to .680) among the 3 subdomains of verbal commitment, actual commitment and affect. So, students who hold verbal commitment showed good effect on the actual commitment and affect. In conclusion, the environmental education program through various instructional media had a positive effect on pro-environmental attitudes of elementary school students. It is demanded that more intensive research on this study should be done, linking with teaching and teaming method, as a follow-up activity.

The environment has played a key role to improve the living condition and develop the industry. In building industries, we should consider the environment and mitigate the environmental affect. For mitigating the its affect, various areas of building technology have been developed and applied into filed work. In addition, the process in applying into field requires to conduct the assessment of the environmental affect and improve its applied technology. A lot of assessment methods are proposed in evaluate the building condition such as post-occupancy evaluation, life cycle management and life cycle assessment. Among these assessment methods, life cycle assessment is effectively utilized the environmental affect in building life cycle. Therefore, this paper aimed at analyzing the energy consumption and $CO_2$ emission in building life cycle, using the life cycle assessment and application of the example in apartment housing. This study shows that the maintenance and the production of building materials stage shares most of the amount of energy consumption and $CO_2$ emission and therefore plays an important role to planning the building in terms of the life cycle. Second, the other stages brings about a very small amount. It is important to decide the building shape and contents to mitigate the environmental affect in terms of material, volume, the pattern of the energy use and others.

A few methodologies have been recently developed to estimate the environmental affect when various materials and components are used in building life cycle. The direct survey method has limitations to analyze the environmental problems because of the limit of survey scope and cost. Therefore, another indirect method has been developed as alternatives. The indirect method is represented as input-output analysis. This paper aimed at analyzing the estimation the environmental affect of building materials and works at building construction, utilizing the input-output analysis as a indirect estimation method. The results suggested that the building works is overally responsible for the energy consumption and $CO_2$ emission. In other words, Over the 80% of the total consumption and $CO_2$ emission are resulted at the building work.

This study discovered the effects of strategic learning and network building on a company's environmental management performance. According to the results, the environmental awareness of the company and competition threats within the industry did not significantly affect the establishment of environmental strategy, whereas the consumer's sensitivity to the environment and the environmental regulation of the government did. The environmental awareness of the company and the consumer's sensitivity to the environment were found to greatly impact a company's network building. which is closely related with the utilization of multimedia system and technology. In addition, it was found that the establishment of corporate environmental strategy had a significant effect on network building and strategic learning, but network building did not significantly affect strategic learning, indicating a difference. Finally, corporate strategic learning affected environmental management performance, suggesting an importance in accumulating strategic learning capabilities to increase environmental management performance.

The purpose of the article is to evaluate the factors that affect the degree of environmental accounting information disclosure. Data are collected from 87 industry companies listed on the Vietnamese stock market from 2009 to 2019. I focus on the effect of factors such as the Firm size, Profitability, Leverage, Firm age, and Independent auditors. To explain the causal relationship between factors, I construct the regression model and then test it by using different statistical method approaches, including the pooled OLS, the fixed effects model, and the random effects model. Then I conduct testing of model defects: White Test, Wooldridge Test, Hausman Test, and Wald Test. The Feasible Generalized Least Squares (FGLS) method is used to analyze the image factors that affect environmental accounting information disclosure. The results show that the extent of environmental accounting information disclosure is influenced by factors: firm size, uptime and independent audit. These factors positively affect the level of environmental accounting information disclosure; independent audit has the greatest influence. Based on the research results, the author gives recommendations to improve the disclosure of environmental accounting information for industrial enterprises listed on the Vietnamese stock market, increasing the competitiveness of the public company in terms of global integration.

각 의사결정단위(decision making unit: DMU)의 효율성을 추정하는 기법의 하나인 '확률적 프론티어 분석'(Stochastic Frontier Analysis)을 사용하여 국내 공공 연구기관에 소속된 기술이전조직의 기술이전 관련 활동들의 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인들의 효과를 분석하였다. 확률 프론티어 분석에서 독립변수들은 효율적 생산기술('생산 프론티어')에 직접 영향을 미치거나 생산 프론티어와 관측치의 거리로 표현되는 DMU의 효율성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 가정된다. 해외의 선행 연구에서는 인력, 연구개발비 등의 투입변수들은 생산 프론티어에 영향을 미치고, 그 밖의 환경 또는 조직 관련 변수들은 효율성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 가정되었다. 본 연구에서는 환경 및 조직변수들이 선행 연구의 영향 경로와 다른 방식으로 성과에 영향을 미치는지 여부를 밝히기 위해 여러 형태의 모형을 추정하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 투입 요소 가운데 연구개발비가 성과의 증가에 가장 확실한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기관유형, 기관의 소재 지역 등의 환경변수들이 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났나. 셋째, 기술이전과 관련된 보상시스템 등의 일부 조직변수들이 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 환경변수와 조직변수들은 DMU의 효율성에 영향을 주기 보다는 생산 프론티어에 직접 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 일부 모형에서는 거의 모든 DMU의 효율성이 1에 가까운 것으로 나타났는데 이는 효율성을 기준으로 공공 연구기관의 기술이전 활동성과를 평가하는 것은 효과적이지 못하다는 것을 시사한다. 본 연구의 결과는 추가적인 자료를 통해 보완되어야 한다. 또한 더욱 일반적인 생산함수 형태를 고려할 필요가 있으며 산출 거리함수 등의 개념을 이용하여 복수산출물의 경우까지 분석 범위를 확장할 필요가 있다.

The details of an approach to account for the factors that have been found to affect the ability and the probability to control cracking due to sawcutting in newly constructed concrete pavements are presented. Several factors such as material strength parameters, method and quality of curing, slab and subbase stiffness, and concrete shrinkage affect the probability of crack initiation. Others are relevant to concrete mixture characteristics that affect development of early aged stresses caused by shrinkage and thermally induced contraction. This paper presents the results of a probabilistic analysis of the factors that affect crack control using sawcut notches. Cost analyses on both conventional and early-entry sawcutting methods are shown to support the results of the probabilistic analysis. From both an operational and cost standpoint, it is evident for the environmental conditions considered that early-entry sawcut methodology holds a significant advantage over conventional methods.

This study aims to examine the effect of environmental performance, independent board of commissioners, and firm size on environmental disclosure measured by the Indonesian environmental index. The population in this study is manufacturing and coal mining companies that follow "PROPER" and are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2019. This research was conducted by reviewing annual reports to collect information on environmental disclosures. The sampling used in this study was purposive sampling technique and obtained a sample of 117. Also, the data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis with statistical hypothesis testing. The results showed that environmental performance and firm size had a positive effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, the independent board of commissioners does not affect financial performance. Furthermore, environmental performance, firm size, and financial performance have a positive effect on environmental disclosure. While the independent board of commissioners does not affect environmental disclosure. The findings of this research suggest that environmental performance has a significant positive effect on financial performance. The hypothesis is accepted, meaning that companies that are sensitive to environmental problems and run eco-efficiency operations will strengthen the company's profitability.
