ERP, a typical enterprise application, helps companies to increase their productivity and to support their decision makings. ERP is composed of diverse functions that are optimized under PC environment, whereas the ERP applications on a mobile platform have many constraints such as a small screen, limited resolution, and computing power. Because all the functions of a ERP legacy system are not required for ERP on a mobile device, the core functions of the ERP system should be selected to increase system efficiency. In this study, two main methods were used; interviews and log analyses. The end users using a ERP system were interviewed for their perceptions, and log data analyses were made for the hitting number of specific ERP functions. The differences between the actual usage based on log data and users' cognitive preferences about ERP functions were analysed. Finally, the functional differences between users' perception and actual usage were suggested for some practical implications.

오늘날 대규모 집단이나 단체의 경우 사용자에게 정보를 전달하기 위해 인터넷을 이용한다. 그러나 이러한 인터넷 기반의 알림 시스템의 경우 새로운 정보를 확인하기 위해 사용자가 항상 인터넷을 확인해야 하고, 많은 정보를 제공하는 집단에서는 사용자가 원하는 정보 습득의 어려움을 야기한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해 실시간으로 사용자가 원하는 정보를 효과적으로 제공해주는 알림 시스템을 제안하고, 알림 서버가 수집된 정보를 원하는 사용자에게 제공하기까지의 전반적인 처리 과정을 기술한다.

As new information technology emerges, companies are introducing an Enterprise Security Management system to cope with new security threats, reducing redundant investments and waste of resources and counteracting security threats. Therefore, it is necessary to construct a security evaluation metric based on related standards to demonstrate that the Enterprise Security Management(ESM) System meets security. Therefore, in order to construct a metric for evaluating the security of the ESM, this study analyzed the security quality related requirements of the ESM and constructed a metric for measuring the degree of satisfaction. This metric provides synergies through the unification of security assessments that comply with ISO/IEC 15408 and ISO/IEC 25000 standards. It is expected that the evaluation model of the security quality level of ESM will be established and the evaluation method of ESM will be standardized in the future.

This paper reports on a contingency framework for selecting the most appropriate strategy to implement the enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) system in an organization. The two dimensions of our framework are information technology level and culture level of organization. For each of the four contingencies, we recommend a desirable implementation strategy, based on scope and pace of the implementation effort. ERP implementation data from ten organizations were analyzed to validate the proposed framework.

In this paper, we propose a workflow framework for the integrated logistics systems. We modelled the logistics activities into workflows, which allow clear specification and flexible modification of business processes. To specify workflows, we used petri-net that is extended to handle with information flows. A framework to implement the integrated logistics system using workflow management technology is proposed. Since logistics is closely related with other parts of enterprise such as manufacturing and accounting, the framework could capture a rich features required for enterprise-wide systems.

The authors of the study highlight the conceptual foundations of the investment mechanism of innovation of enterprises in the context of strategic development. Such indicators of investment attraction for the enterprise as investment attractiveness, investment activity of the enterprise, critical mass of investments, minimum sufficiency of investments and others are singled out. It is proved that the balance of investment resources is facilitated by the action of the investment mechanism of innovation activity at the enterprise in the context of achievements of strategic development tasks. Investment processes and their intensification have an impact on the expansion of production capacity of economic entities in strategic development and on improving the efficiency of existing capacities. The investment mechanism of innovative activity at the enterprise in the context of achievement of tasks of strategic development contains system of complex actions which provides: definition of the clear purpose and tasks for the mechanism and achievement of the purposes of the enterprise; assessment of the investment potential of the enterprise; definition of tasks of innovative development of enterprises and investment resources necessary for this purpose, etc. The tasks of the investment mechanism of innovative activity at the enterprise in the context of achievements of tasks of strategic development and its economic, organizational and information components are singled out, as well as levers of influence and regulators of the investment mechanism of innovation in the enterprise.

The current challenge with which most shipyards are faced is to reduce the design time and the time-to-delivery benefits of new information technologies such as ERP, APS, and SCM system. These technologies should integrate the information that flows in the enterprise wide activities. First of all we should maintain control of ship design and product data such as bill of material, product structure, drawing, 30 modeling and manufacturing information for the integration. The product data management (POM) system copes with these requirements. All the product data is stored in POM database and vaults in a structured manner and all the changes of product data are monitored, controlled and recorded. This study discusses how POM system can be implemented in shipyard. The procedure is surveyed to apply a POM system for the ship design data management. This study also presents several examples in order to make a practical guidance for ship POM implementation. Proposed studies can be useful for shipyards planning to adopt POM systems in enterprise wide manner.
