인간공학 프로그램에 의한 매선 제작 청정실작업의 에너지소모량 예측 모델 (Estimation Model of Energy Expenditure of Working in a Clean Room for Manufacturing Embedded Needles by Ergonomic Programs)

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate the energy expenditure of working in a clean room for manufacturing embedded needles by ergonomic programs. Embedding needle is one of medical devices and it should be manufactured in a clean room. 3D static strength prediction program was used to analyze the slow movements during embedding needle manufacturing in a clean room. Also the energy expenditure prediction program was used to estimate energy expenditure rates for materials handling tasks to help assure worker safety and health in clean room. The energy expenditures of the tasks were calculated using prediction equations derived from empirical data. The energy expenditure rate of 3.09 kcal/min in a clean room didn't exceed the 3.5 kcal/min action limit guideline for an average 8-hour day set by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Energy consumption was calculated on the same working conditions as EEPP program, using an average body weight of female 20 years old to 59 years who would be the candidates of the real workers.

  • The sound field can be classified to the direct, diffract and reverberant sound field. If the sound absorption material in a room is not applied sufficiently, the reverberant sound field increases and the sound pressure in a room also increases when the sound source exists in a room. Therefore, the reverberation time should be controled in order to reduce the reverberant sound as well as sound pressure level in a room. Even though the reverberation time is specified and researched widely in architectural engineering, it is rarely performed in a marine engineering. Therefore, in this research, the reverberation time in a navel vessel is researched related to the noise reduction in a cabin.

  • Recently, multi-room type heat pump system has aroused much attention, because it can achieve much reduction of installation cost and space as well as energy saving in companion with the single room type heat pump system. In the present study, performance characteristics of a 3 room type inverter driven heat pump system, which is widely spread in Japanese market, are measured.. In the single room operation, performances of a heat pump system such s the difference of compressor outlet and inlet pressures and the mass flowrate may increase with the increase of cooling capacity so that COP of the system decrease with the increase of cooling capacity. However, in the 2 room operation, mass flowrate and COP of the total system increase markedly as compared with the single room operation.

인공 광원을 이용한 실내 조명 효과에 대한 기초 실험 연구 (Basic Experimental Study on Room Lighting Effects using Artificial Light Source)

  • This study is performed to investigate the effect of the artificial light for room lightening. To do that, the experiments were done using the black room with 1m3 and performed to show the effect of the length between the room and light source and light intensities as LUX. The LUX of 18 sites in the room was measured using LUX meter. The length between the room and the light source was chosen as 500mm, 1000mm, and 1500mm and the light intensities was 3 levels. The results were shown the distinct difference between the part directly projected through the light path and non-directly projected. So, the light delivery path have to be modified for next step research. The results were very sensitive for the part directly projected through the light path. This study showed the basic results for room lightening using light source to simulate the solar lightening and was worth in a strict sense as fundamental study.

  • 주방식 지하구조물은 주방식 채광법의 개념을 이용한 지하구조물 건설 방법이다. 주방식 공법에서 배수는 터널의 싱글쉘 개념과 유사하며, 주방식 지하구조의 장기적인 안정화를 위해서 복공 뒷면의 지하수를 배수하여 지하수위를 사전 저감시키는 방식이 유효하다. 그러나 배수공에 의한 지하수위 저감 방식은 지하 굴착시 굴착면에 지하수압이 작용하지 않거나 발생 용수량이 크지 않다면 배수공은 필요치 않게 된다. 본 연구에서는 지하 굴착시 발생용수량에 따른 배수공 적용 유무를 검토하여 주방식 지하구조에서 배수공 적용 유무를 판단하는 기준을 제안하고자 하며, 배수공 적용이 불필요한 구간에 대해서는 숏크리트를 통한 유도 배수시스템을 제안하고자 한다.

  • Flow and temperature fields of a mid-size vehicle engine room are examined numerically to analyze the enhancement of cooling efficiency of several different design cases in a front body shape. The wall temperatures of a radiator and an engine parte are utilized to predict the effects of engine cooling on the thermal environment and the cooling efficiency in an engine room. The analyzed results are the mass flow rate at the upper and lower inlets, in the radiator, and the condenser. It is shown that the shape of the front end, lay-out of the engine parts, and the presence of the undercover greatly influence the flow and temperature fields, and the enhancement of cooling efficiency in the engine room.

  • As Waterpower Generation generates electricity using the difference of altitude of water, also let the turbine revolves through water pipe, at this time the revolving turbine causes exceedingly huge noise. Accordingly, not only those workers in the hydraulic turbine dynamo room are suffering the difficulties in mutual communication, but also those workers in the adjacent office are enduring the obstruction to the business due to the noise. Therefore, this Study has analyzed the reduction effect on the noise of hydraulic turbine dynamo room utilizing computer simulation, through the preceding research with the optimized model for architectural acoustic factor of the hydraulic turbine dynamo room. It is considered that such research result could be applied as the useful material for improvement of acoustic performance and noise-reduction effect at other similar hydraulic turbine dynamo room in the future.

  • The development of a Marine Engine Room Simulator system for training and research is described. Development objectives of the system are for both student training, research and development work. The system includes a distributed server/client architecture for 1 to 1, or 1 to many client simulation operation through OPC server, complete separation of visual elements from the controlling routines and the ability to work on the mathematical model independent of the controller and visual systems. A graphical user interface for the man-machine interface has been developed and the mathematical model has been updated. Various engine room operational situations can be simulated. The use of marine engine room simulator for training of sea going engineers and its competency for STCW-95 is discussed.

  • Ventilation of the marine engine room is very important for the health of the workers as well as the nomal operation of machines. To find proper ventilation conditions of this engine room, numerical simulation with standard k-.epsilon. model was carried out. In the present study, the marine engine room is considered as a closed space with a heat source and forced ventilation ducts. The injection angle of air supply is found to be important. Injection with downword angle depresses recirculation flow, causing a strong steam in the wider space of the room. Ventilation and removal of the released heat are promoted with this pattern. There is a possibility of local extreme heating at the upper surface of engine when supply and exhaust ports of air are in bilateral symmetry. The effect of the increase of exhaust port area on ventilation decreases as the number of supply port increases.
