Second, solutions were proposed to diversify the network selected to participate in programs and to tighten the network among the participating citizens. Third, improving the compatibility with the targets that are set for the program and raising the program budget was proposed. Fourth, ideas to introduce the final evaluation guidelines for the programs by the network, to improve the convenience of the program procedures. Fifth, developing a manual to inspect energy-saving measures in households, counseling for at-home energy-saving behaviors, sharing search programs such as financial support and home repair, introducing a program energy-saving APPs.
This research was aimed to analyze load sharing ratios between cortical shell and trabecular bone of a degraded lumbar vertebra with aging, and also evaluate elastic moduli assigned into an FE model, using finite element method. For the better analysis of trabecular bone, effective elastic moduli, that is, nominal elastic moduli divided by the volumetric porosities was used. The elastic moduli of the cortical shell suitable for the trabecular bone were obtained from the equations on the basis of idealized stress-strain relations, including areal porosities. To minimize numerical errors, p-element was used. Using eight parameters that refer to some published papers, the geometry of L3 with a removed posterior part. After the constant compressive displacement was applied, the load sharing ratios were obtained by using both every elastic strain energy and every vertical force between two bones in each 8-volume. As results, 1) according to an increase in age from 20-year to 80-year, load sharing ratios of trabecular bone decreased from 55% to 49%; 2) the maximal ratios of each bone were occurred in the mid-plane of centrums and the endplate of cortical shells, respectively; 3) effective elastic moduli assigned into a porous centrum/cortex were found to be adequate; 4) for load sharing ratios, the difference of two methods showed that the total ratios were almost same within less than 1% but the partial ratios at every depth were more or less different each other.

Recently, deep neural networks (DNNs) have brought revolutions to many mobile and embedded devices by providing human-level machine intelligence for various applications. However, high inference accuracy of such DNNs comes at high computational costs, and, hence, there have been significant efforts to reduce computational overheads of DNNs either by compressing off-the-shelf models or by designing a new small footprint DNN architecture tailored to resource constrained devices. One notable recent paradigm in designing small footprint DNN models is sharing parameters in several layers. However, in previous approaches, the parameter-sharing techniques have been applied to large deep networks, such as ResNet, that are known to have high redundancy. In this paper, we propose a parameter-sharing method for already parameter-efficient small networks such as ShuffleNetV2. In our approach, small templates are combined with small layer-specific parameters to generate weights. Our experiment results on ImageNet and CIFAR100 datasets show that our approach can reduce the size of parameters by 15%-35% of ShuffleNetV2 while achieving smaller drops in accuracies compared to previous parameter-sharing and pruning approaches. We further show that the proposed approach is efficient in terms of latency and energy consumption on modern embedded devices.

Because of the increase in information and knowledge sharing in various fields, technological development across various industries were growing energy demand. Advanced technologies was done to find alternative energy sources. Relevant studies are under way to promote efficiency of energy source. The problem of climate change is not the only reason why made electric cars. it is because of the efficiency of the utilization of alternative energy sources has improved. In this paper we focuses about usage of thermoelectric effect with electric cars.
This paper presents development of variable speed generation (VSG) system with energy saving function. The rubber tyred gantry crane (RTGC) requires the power from diesel-engine. Significant fuel savings by reducing the engine speed can be achieved, because all of operation modes except hoisting are required lower power than rated value of engine. When low speed operation output voltage of generator is decrease until acceptable range of motor driver inverters and auxiliary load supplier. According to power demand engine speed is varying from 20 to 60Hz, and voltage is varying between 210Vac and 480Vac. When idle mode or low power operation dc/dc converter operates by constant output voltage control and inverters dc site voltage is compensated by it. This paper proposed 3-phase interleaved boost converter which has the same structure as the commercially available 3-phase inverter and current sharing capability. 400kW interleaved converter is designed and a performance of converter is evaluated through several experiments with a RTGC system. Energy saving VSG system can cut down fuel consumption by 36% and 21.3% at idle and unidirectional load operations.
In this paper, design and control is proposed for a four input-series-output-series-connected ZVS full bridge converter for the photovoltaic power conditioning system (PCS). The novel topology for a photovoltaic (PV) DC/DC converter that can dramatically reduce the power rating and increase the efficiency of a PV system by analyzing PV module characteristics is proposed. The control scheme, including an input voltage controller is proposed to achieve equal sharing of the input voltage as well output voltages by a four series connected module. Design methods for ZVS power stage are also introduced. The total PV system is implemented for a 250-kW PV power conditioning system (PCS). This system has only three DC/DC converters with a 25-kW power rating and uses only one-third of the total PV PCS power. The 25-kW prototype PV DC/DC converter is introduced to verify experimentally the proposed topology. In addition, an experimental result shows that the proposed topology exhibits good performance.

This paper proposes a method that distributes the load power and stores the regenerated energy for a hoist-load system using the supercapacitor, an energy storage device. The crane, which is a representative hoist-load system, operates in two modes. The first is the hoist-up mode in which the load container is lifted up: the maximum power is required at the end of acceleration. The second is the hoist-down mode in which the load container is lifted down; the regenerated energy is wasted by the resistor In this paper, the supercapacitor stores the regenerated energy in the hoist-down operation and supplies the peak power demand in the hoist-up operation. The same structure as the commercially available three-phase inverter is proposed as a bidirectional do-dc converter to charge and discharge the supercapacitor. A power control algorithm is proposed to optimize the load sharing between the generator and the supercapacitor. Using the proposed method, it is effected that the generator size can be cut down to one third of the original one; it leads to the reduction of the fuel consumption, noise and air pollution. Simulation and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the Proposed method.

An energy management method of DC microgrids using voltage compensation term is proposed in this study. Droop control is often implemented to operate the DC microgrid. However, the droop control necessarily generates voltage variation. Energy flow is also difficult to control because the droop control mainly focuses on proportional load sharing. To solve these problems, the voltage compensation term based on the low-bandwidth communication is used to determine the operating band of the converter. Energy management and voltage variation minimization can be achieved by judging the operating band according to the magnitude of voltage compensation term. The validity of the proposed method is verified by simulation and experiments.

Communication infrastructure supports wide variety of mobile services such as photo and file sharing, location tracking, social network services and instant messaging. However, instances like power-loss and natural disasters disrupt these communication infrastructures unable to render support to these mobile services. Delay-tolerant networks (DTNs) offer a solution to these problems at hand. By utilizing mobility and opportunistic contacts among mobile devices, a plausible communication network can be establish and enable support to mobile applications. This paper presents an energy-efficient, reliable message delivery routing scheme with message prioritization rules for DTN. It uses the context information of nodes (mobile devices) such as the contact history (location and time of contact), speed/velocity, moving direction to determine the best forwarders among nodes in the network. The remaining energy of the nodes is also used to determine the message types a node can deliver successfully. The simulation results show that proposed approach outperforms Epidemic and Prophet routing schemes in terms of delivery ratio, overhead ratio, delivered messages per types and remaining energy.

This paper presents an operational technique that can secure the stability of DC-Grid centering on MG operated based on ESS in multiple MG where three DC-based microgrid(MG) are interconnected. MG1(PV 600kWp, ESS 1.5MWh) has an 830Vdc grid voltage, MG2(PV 300kWp, ESS 1.1MWh) and MG3(PV 100kWp, ESS 500kWh) are DC-based MG with a 750Vdc grid voltage, and MG1 and MG2, 3 are linked by separate DC/DC converters (BTB). In order to keep different grid voltages stable, the power transmission capacity between MG1 and two MG(MG2, MG3) connected with an independent BTB converter was adjusted to secure the overall stability of the system, and this was verified by confirming that the surplus capacity of ESS was maintained in actual operation.
