In this paper, the numerical integration method for general singularly perturbed two point boundary value problems with mixed boundary conditions of both left and right end boundary layer is presented. The original second order differential equation is replaced by an approximate first order differential equation with a small deviating argument. By using the trapezoidal formula we obtain a three term recurrence relation, which is solved using Thomas Algorithm. To demonstrate the applicability of the method, we have solved four linear (two left and two right end boundary layer) and one nonlinear problems. From the results, it is observed that the present method approximates the exact or the asymptotic expansion solution very well.

이 논문은 자유단에 집중하중과 만재 등분포하중이 작용하는 캔틸레버 보의 과대처짐을 해석한 연구이다. 과대처짐을 해석하기 위하여 처짐곡선의 Bernoulli-Euler 미분방정식을 이용하였고, 이 미분방정식을 Runge Kutta method와 Regula Falsi method를 이용하여 수치해석할 수 있는 기법을 개발하였다. 수치해석의 결과로 하중과 자유단의 수평처짐, 수직처짐 및 회전각과의 관계를 무차원화하여 도시하였고 또한 몇 개의 전형적인 과대처짐곡선을 무차원화하여 도시하였다.

Lateral-torsional buckling moment resistances of I-shaped stepped beams with continuous lateral top-flange bracing under a single point load on the top flange and negative end moments were investigated. Stepped beam factors and a moment gradient correction factor suggested by Park et al. (2003, 2004) were used to develop new lateral buckling formula for beam designs. From the investigation of finite element analysis (FEA), new lateral buckling formula of beams with singly or doubly stepped member changes and with continuous lateral top-flange bracing subjected to a single point load on top flange and end moments were developed. The new design equation includes the length-to-height ratio factor to account for the increase of lateral-torsional buckling moment resistance as the increase of length-to-height ratio of stepped beams. The calculation examples for obtaining lateral-torsional buckling moment resistance using the new design equation indicate that engineers should easily determine the buckling capacity of the stepped beams.

This study aims to separate hydrograph into baseflow and event water to calculate baseflow rate during a rainfall in small catchments, Yuseong, Daejeon, The hydrograph of stream during a period with no excess rainfall will decay. The discharge is composed entirely of groundwater contributions. During the period, the Cl concentration of the stream water can be regarded as being in equilibrium with that of the groundwater. Using Cl as a conservative tracer, two-component hydrograph separations were performed from end point of the period to next end point. The required data were obtained by monitoring of the surface water table, along with discharge rate of stream. Cl concentration of rainfall, surface water were measured and recorded. Hydrograph separation, a mixing model using chemical tracer is applied to chemical hydrograph separation technique. These results show that baseflow rates are 31.6% of rainfall in the catchments during study period.

Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) are emerging as promising, convenient next generation wireless network technology. There is a great need for a secure framework for routing in WMNs and several research studies have proposed secure versions of the default routing protocol of WMNs. In this paper, we propose a security framework for Hybrid Wireless Mesh Protocol (HWMP) in WMNs. Contrary to existing schemes, our proposed framework ensures both end-to-end and point-to-point authentication and integrity to both mutable and non-mutable fields of routing frames by adding message extension fields to the HWMP path selection frame elements. Security analysis and simulation results show that the proposed approach performs significantly well in spite of the cryptographic computations involved in routing.

The objectives of this study were to evaluate the effect of previous heating temperature and holding times on the thermal behavior of pork loin muscle by DSC. Pork loin muscles were heated to achieve the following end-point temperatures: 40$^{\circ}C$, 50$^{\circ}C$, 60$^{\circ}C$, 70$^{\circ}C$, 80$^{\circ}C$ at heating rate = 10$^{\circ}C$/min. The first peak was disappeared when samples were initially heated to 50$^{\circ}C$ for 1 minute. As end-point temperature was raised, major peaks were progressively disappeared and peaks were lost completely at 80$^{\circ}C$. Especially, peaks were completely disappeared at 70$^{\circ}C$ for 10 minute. Increasing of exposure time to elevated temperature also increased denaturation, thereby reducing the area of the thermogram.

음성 인식 기능의 성능 향상을 위해서는 처리 속도가 빠르면서도 잡음 환경에서 정확하게 동작하는 음성 끝점 검출이 선행되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 저잡음 환경에서의 음성 끝점 검출을 위한 간단하면서도 빠른 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 LSP 거리를 측정 기준으로 문턱값 논리를 사용하며 입력 음성으로는 EVRC로 보코딩된 패킷을 이용한다. 제안된 알고리즘을 이용한 실험 결과는 디코딩된 음성 파형으로부터 결정한 결과와 비교되었다. 실험 결과에서 제안된 알고리즘은 만족할만한 정확성을 나타내었다.

Through shallow trench isolation (STI) chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) tests, we investigated the dependence of pad surface temperature on the abrasive and additive concentrations in ceria slurry under varying pressure using blanket film wafers. The pad surface temperature after CMP increased with the abrasive concentration and decreased with the additive concentration in slurries for the constant down pressure. A possible mechanism is that the additive adsorbed on the film surfaces during polishing decreases the friction coefficient, hence the pad surface temperature gets lower with increasing the additive concentration. This difference in temperature was more remarkable for the higher concentration of abrasives. In addition, in-situ measurement of spindle motor was carried out during oxide and nitride polishing. The averaged motor current for oxide film was higher than that for nitride film, meaning the higher friction coefficient.

In the process of global transportation, many value chains which have different business process, system and technology level respectively are connected to each other. To obtain end-to-end visibility of transportation, these kind of discrepancy has to be solved appropriately. In this paper, the realization of global visibility is discussed in three point of view such as 'Data Sourcing', 'System integration' and 'System Operation'. First, the data sources of global visibility are described especially from the point of enterprise applications view, and then system integration is presented using various current e-commerce technologies for example XML, EDI and so on. Finally, flexible operation of visibility function is suggested which satisfies different goals of each value chain.

Device makers want to make higher density chips as devices shrink, especially WSix poly stack down is one of the key issues. However, EPD (End Point Detection) time delay was happened in DPS+ poly chamber which is a barrier to achieve device shrink because EPD time delay killed test pattern and next generation device. To investigate the EPD time delay, a test was done with patterned wafers. This experimental was carried out combined with OES(Optical Emission Spectroscopy) and SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy). OES was used to find corrected wavelength in WSix stack down gate etching. SEM was used to confirm WSix gate profile and gate oxide damage. Through the experiment, a new wavelength (252nm) line of plasma is selected for DPS+ chamber to call correct EPD in WSix stack down gate etching for current device and next generation device.
