디자인씽킹 프로세스 기반의 메이커교육 프로그램을 통한 감성지능의 향상 연구: 대학교 사례를 중심으로 (Development of Emotional Intelligence through A Maker Education Program Based on Design Thinking Process for Undergraduate Students in an University)

  • 4차 산업혁명시대의 주요한 변화 동인인 혁신적 테크놀러지와 인공지능의 발전은 상대적으로 인간의 감성적 영역에 대한 관심을 증대시키고 있다. 그리고 이에 대한 교육적 대안으로서 디자인씽킹 프로세스를 활용한 메이커교육에 주목하고 있다. 이는 만들기 활동 과정과 결과로서 경험하게 되는 여러 감성적 측면(타인/사용자의 이해와 공감, 협력활동을 통한 소통, 개방, 공유의 정신, 논리적 사고를 넘어선 직관적 사고의 수용)을 감성지능의 함양이란 가능성과 연결시킬 수 있기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대학교 학부생 37명을 대상으로 한 교양과목에서 '디자인씽킹 프로세스 기반의 메이커교육' 프로그램을 개발 및 적용한 뒤 그 결과로서 학생들의 감성지능에 어떤 변화가 이루어지는지 감성지능 검사지를 이용한 양적분석과 면담, 성찰일지와 같은 질적자료분석을 통해 알아보았다. 그 결과로 디자인씽킹기반의 메이커교육 프로그램은 감성지능의 대부분 영역에서 긍정적 영향이 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다.

경기 일부 중학생의 당류 간식 섭취가 정서지능에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Carbohydrate Processed Snacks on Middle School Students' Emotional Intelligence)

  • Adequate nutrients intake and regular eating habit are so important for the students to develop physical and mental health, and they contribute significantly for the development of intellectual capacity. The intake of simple sugar contained in the processed foods is known to have been related not only with such physical problems as obesity and diabetes but also with hyperactivity during growing period. This study analysed the effects of carbohydrate processed snacks on the middle school students' emotional intelligence and intended to demonstrate the correlation and the influence of the foods. The subjects of this study were 476 the 1st grade middle school students sampled from two public middle schools of Gyeonggi Province, Korea. Questionnaire contained 47 questions including the kinds of sugar containing processed foods, the frequency of intake, the frequency of normal diet, and the emotional test. All data obtained in this study were processed by SAS 8.2 program. 77.9% of the students had snacks more than once a day and the favored foods were in the order of bread, cookies, fruit, milk and dairy products, flour foods, ramen and ice cream. Less of the sugar contained processed snacks consumed high emotional intelligence showed(p<0.001). And low intake of carbohydrate processed snacks linked with having more regular meals and the higher levels of emotional intelligence. There was no gender difference in consuming simple sugar containing processed foods, however, out of these foods, carbonated drinks, ramen and pizza affected significantly the emotional intelligence of the male students. It was found that sugar contained processed snacks affect the eating habits like meal skipping and the emotional intelligence. It is determined that the effects of carbohydrate processed snacks on emotional intelligence can not be denied.

임상간호사의 일터영성과 감성지능이 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Workplace Spirituality and Emotional Intelligence on the Organizational Citizenship Behavior for Clinical Nurses)

  • Objectives : This study was done to identify the influences of workplace spirituality and emotional intelligence on the organizational citizenship behavior of clinical nurses. Methods : The subjects were 230 clinical nurses, working over 6 months in four general hospitals in three cities. Data were obtained from March 20 to March 30, 2016, with a self-report questionnaire, and analyzed using the IBM SPSS 21.0 program. Results : The factors related to the organizational citizenship behavior of nurses were workplace spirituality(${\beta}$=.36), emotional intelligence(${\beta}$=.29), 40 years of age or higher(${\beta}$=.26), working in a special ward(${\beta}$=.11), and turnover intention(${\beta}$=.10). These variables explained 61.6% of the variance in organizational citizenship behavior of nurses. Conclusions : In order to improve the quality of nursing services and business performance in hospital organizations, it is necessary to enhance workplace spirituality and emotional intelligence. This would lead to promoting organizational citizenship behavior through the development and application of intervention programs from a nursing organization perspective.

Development and effects of a high-risk pregnancy emotive role-play program for nursing students: a quasi-experimental study

  • Purpose: This study aimed to develop an emotive role-play program for nursing students focusing on high-risk pregnancy and analyze its effects on communication skills, clinical performance, and emotional intelligence. Methods: A quasi-experimental nonequivalent comparison group design was adopted with 83 nursing students (experimental group, 45; comparison group, 38) who participated voluntarily in an extracurricular program. The preliminary survey was conducted on November 3 and November 4, 2020, and the follow-up survey was conducted on November 12, 2020, for the comparison group and on November 27, 2020, for the experimental group. A program that included five role-play scenarios related to induced labor, preeclampsia, premature rupture of membranes, preterm labor, and infertility was developed by a group of experts and presented to the experimental group over 11 total hours across 3 days. Each student participated in a role-play scenario as a patient, family member, or nurse and observed three other scenarios. The comparison group received a workbook after the follow-up evaluation. The independent t-test was performed to analyze changes in communication skills, clinical performance, and emotional intelligence. Results: Communication skills (t=1.84, p=.035) and clinical performance (t=2.75, p=.004) significantly increased in the experimental group compared to the comparison group. A significant difference was not observed between the experimental and comparison groups for emotional intelligence (t=1.36, p=.088). Conclusion: The emotive role-play program concerning high-risk pregnancy was effective in improving nursing students' communication skills and clinical performance and can be used in nursing education related to high-risk pregnancy and childbirth.

컬러테라피프로그램이 청소년의 심리적 특성과 색채표현에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Color Therapy Program on Psychological Characteristics and Color Expression of Adolescents)

  • This study analyzes the experiences of a color therapy program that uses color and fashion directing to influence the psychological characteristics of adolescents, such as emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and color expression. The subjects of this study were 15 adolescents who participated in B-City Winter School (January 6-15, 2020). Pre- and post-tests for emotional intelligence and self-efficacy were conducted to confirm the effect of the color therapy program that indicated a significant difference at the p<.05 level. Statistical significance was confirmed through the GEE model for formal characteristics used in pre/post and fashion-directed color expression. Peter pre- and post-changes in vocabulary emergence were investigated with a Word Cloud analysis using R program 4.0.2 that extracted the lower and upper categories. The significance of this study is that by expressing both color expression and fashion direction together, a program was provided for adolescents to have richer emotional experiences and career-related experiences. This study examined changes within a short period of time in 15 subjects; consequently, a follow-up in-depth qualitative analysis of the program effect and a post-testing study on maintaining the long-term effect is expected to secure further validity and usefulness of the study results. In addition, new studies are expected to contribute to the development of differentiated fashion-related education programs.

절기에 따른 생태유아교육 활동이 자연친화적 태도와 정서지능에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Eco-Centered Early Childhood Education by Seasonal Divisions on Child Nature-Friendly Attitudes and Emotional Intelligence)

  • Objective: This study aimed to investigate how the eco-centered early childhood education by seasonal divisions influences the child's nature-friendly attitude and emotional intelligence. Methods: Forty 5-year-olds from 2 preschools in Gyeonggi were selected through convenience sampling and were divided into the experimental group (21) and the comparative group (19). The experimental group received eco-centered childhood education by seasonal divisions 2 or 3 times a week (33 in total). Pre-post data were collected on both groups and analyzed via t-test and ANCOVAs. Results: The key result was as follows: eco-centered childhood education by seasonal divisions influenced positively the nature-friendly attitude and emotional intelligence of children. Conclusion: Based on the result, it is recommended that eco-centered early childhood education be applied in childhood education and that relevant program be developed. Eco-centered education by seasonal divisions is meaningful in early childhood so that children can be harmonious with the nature. Furthermore, the study should be continued for the development of qualified eco-centered education.

대학병원 병동간호사의 노인섬망 간호수행에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing the Nursing Performance of Delirium in Elderly Patients among Ward Nurses at a University Hospital)

  • Purpose: This research aims to identify the relationship between the knowledge of delirium in elderly patients, nursing stress of delirium in elderly patients, emotional intelligence, and nursing performance of delirium in elderly patients among word nurses at a university hospital. Method: Data were collected from September 28 to October 13, 2020, by distributing questionnaires to 185 ward nurses at a university hospital located in city D. A data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, a t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients, and a multiple regression analysis. Results: Nursing performance of delirium in elderly patients showed statistically significant differences according to nursing experience with these patients. Nurses' knowledge of delirium in elderly patients had a statistically significant positive correlation with emotional intelligence and nursing performance of delirium in elderly patients. Also, nurses' emotional intelligence had a statistically positive correlation with nursing performance of delirium in elderly patients. The factors that significantly affected nursing performance delirium in elderly patients were emotional intelligence and knowledge of delirium in elderly patients. The total explanatory power of the regression model was 12.5%. Conclusion: For nursing performance of delirium in elderly patients by ward nurses, it is necessary to develop a geriatric delirium nursing education program that can improve the knowledge of delirium in elderly patients. In addition, guidelines in consideration of the emotional intelligence of nurses should be included in the development of educational programs.

간호대학생의 다문화인식과 다문화효능감의 관계에서 감성지능의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Emotional Intelligence on the Relationship between Multicultural Perception and Multicultural Efficacy of Nursing University Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 다문화인식과 다문화효능감과의 관계에서 감성지능의 매개효과를 파악하여 간호대학생의 다문화효능감을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안 마련에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상은 J도와 G시의 2개 대학의 간호학과 학생 179명으로 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0을 이용하여 기술통계, independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient을 하였고, Process macro 4.0 프로그램을 통해 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 간호대학생의 다문화효능감은 다문화인식(r=.596, p<.001), 감성지능(r=.620, p<.001)과 양의 상관관계로 나타났다. 다문화인식과 다문화효능감의 관계에서 감성지능이 매개효과를 나타내었다(β=.471, p<.001). 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 간호대학생의 다문화효능감을 강화하기 위해 다문화인식과 감성지능을 높이기 위한 체계적인 프로그램의 개발 및 적용이 필요하다.

간호사의 감성지능, 셀프리더십, 전문직 삶의 질과의 관계 (Relationship of Emotional intelligence, Self-leadership and Professional Quality of Life on Nurses)

  • 본 논문은 간호사의 감성지능, 셀프리더십과 전문직 삶의 질의 관계를 확인하고자 하였으며, 대상자는 부산, 울산, 경남 종합병원 간호사 197명으로 하였다. 통계분석은 SPSS/win 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 평균과 표준편차, 독립 t 검정, 일원분산분석 및 상관관계를 분석하였으며, 그 결과 감성지능 점수는 4.68/7점, 셀프리더십 점수는 3.35/5점, 전문직 삶의 질 점수는 2.98/5점으로 나타났다. 전문직 삶의 질은 공감만족, 소진, 이차 외상성 스트레스의 3가지 하위영역으로 구성되며, 대상자의 19.8%가 높은 전문직 삶의 질을 나타냈다(공감만족75%이상, 소진25%미만, 이차 외상성 스트레스25% 미만인 집단). 대상자의 전문직 삶의 질 하위요인들과 독립변수 간의 상관관계에서 공감만족은 감성 지능(r=.41, p<.001) 및 셀프리더십과 양의 상관관계(r=.61, p<.001)에, 소진은 감성지능(r=-.48, p<.001) 및 셀프리더십과 유의한 음의 상관관계에 있었으며(r=-.50, p<.001), 감성지능과 셀프리더십은 유의한 양의 상관관계에 있었다(r=.66, p<.001) 이러한 결과를 토대로 감성지능 및 셀프리더십을 향상 시킬 수 있는 중재 프로그램을 개발, 적용하여 전문직 삶의 질을 향상시켜주고, 공감만족을 위한 간호조직분위기 조성을 위해 힘써야 할 것이다.

간호대학생의 스트레스, 감성지능과 학업성취도 (Stress, Emotional Intelligence, Academic Achievement of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 감성지능과 스트레스, 학업성취도와의 관계를 파악하고 이들 간의 관계를 규명하는 서술적 상관관계 연구이다. 자료 수집은 P시의 K대학에 재학 중인 3, 4학년 간호대학생 157명을 대상으로 설문지를 이용하여 2014년 11월 24일부터 12월 12일까지 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS WIN 18.0을 이용하여 실수와 백분율, 평균 및 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 간호대학생의 스트레스와 감성지능, 학업성취도는 유의한 상관관계를 보여 스트레스가 높을수록 감성지능이 낮은 것으로 나타났다(r=-.190, p=.017). 따라서 간호대학생의 스트레스를 감소시킬 수 있는 프로그램 개발 및 검증을 제언한다.
