Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate muscle pains of emotional laborers and determine whether there were differences in their muscle pains depending on the hours spent on emotional labor. Methods: This is a secondary analysis of the data collected from the 3rd (2011) Korean Working Conditions Survey. 50,032 participants responded to the study's questionnaire. Among them, 15,669 participants were emotional laborers who directly dealt with people such as customers, passengers, pupils, patients, etc. Results: Thirty three percent of subjects had reported muscle pains. Muscle pains of subjects were positively related to the hours spent on emotional labor (p<.001). According to the logistic regression analysis, the adjusted odd ratio of the subjects who spent about almost all of the work hours on emotional labor was 1.32 (95% CI: 1.15~1.52), compared to the subjects who spent about a quarter of their work hours on emotional labor, when other factors were controlled. Conclusion: The study's findings indicate that engaging in emotional labor for longer hours increases the risks of muscle pains. Occupational nurses must pay closer attention to the management of muscle pains of emotional laborers.

User's selection of music is largely influenced by private tastes as well as emotional states, and it is the unconsciousness projection of user's emotion. Therefore, we think user's emotional states to be music itself. In this paper, we try to grasp user's emotional states from music selected by users at a specific context, and we analyze the correlation between its context and user's emotional state. To get emotional states out of music, the proposed method extracts emotional words as the representative of music from lyrics of user-selected music through morphological analysis, and learns weights of linear classifier for each emotional features of extracted words. Regularities learned by classifier are utilized to calculate predictive weights of virtual music using weights of music chosen by other users in context similar to active user's context. Finally, we propose a method to recommend some pieces of music relative to user's contexts and emotional states. Experimental results shows that the proposed method is more accurate than the traditional collaborative filtering method.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of sociotropy, as perceived by college students, and ambivalence over emotional expressiveness on their interpersonal problems. A total of 248 college students (127 males and 121 females) living in Seoul and Gyonggi responded to questionnaires, which included items related to sociotropy, ambivalence over emotional expressiveness, and interpersonal problem. First, college students' sociotropy was correlated with ambivalence over emotional expressiveness and interpersonal problems. It was suggested that people with high level of sociotropy experienced more emotional expressive conflict and interpersonal problems than people with low level of sociotropy. Second, male and female college students' ambivalence over emotional expressiveness partially mediated the relation between sociotropy and move toward other people, one of the interpersonal problem's subtypes. Male college students' ambivalence over emotional expressiveness has fully mediated the relation between sociotropy and move against other people, one of the interpersonal problem's subtypes. And female college students' ambivalence over emotional expressiveness has fully mediated the relation between sociotropy and move away from other people, one of the interpersonal problem's subtypes. According to gender difference, different interpersonal problems appeared. This study's results may provide some important suggestions for interpersonal problems in college students by increasing understanding of multiple dimensions according to their internal tendency and emotional expressiveness.

Emotional health is important for overall health, and those who are experiencing difficulties should seek professional help. However, the social stigma associated with emotional health, as well as the influence of cultural beliefs, prevent many people from seeking help. This makes early detection difficult, which is critical for such health issues. It would be extremely beneficial if they could assess their emotional state and express their thoughts without prejudices. On the market, there are emotional health apps. However, there was little to no evidence-based information on their quality. Hence, this study was conducted in order to provide evidence-based quality in emotional health mobile apps. Eleven functionality task scenarios were used to assess functional quality, while a System Usability Scale test (n=20) was used to assess usability, customer acceptability, learnability, and satisfaction. The findings show that the app for emotional health management is highly efficient and effective, with a high level of user satisfaction. This contributes to the creation of an app that will be useful and practical for people experiencing early-stage emotional health issues, as well as related stakeholders, in order to manage early-stage emotional health issues.

This study investigated the relationship between mothers'psychological life position and children's social-emotional development. Subject consisted of 303 children and their mothers enrolled in preschool at Seoul. A sample of mothers completed the questionnaire and teachers rated the social-emotional development instrument. The results showed that children's social-emotional development differed according to their gender and age. And there were differences between mothers'psychological life position as a function of educational level and employment status. Mothers'psychological life position was related to their children's social-emotional development.

As an information technology is developed, more intelligent system considering emotional factor for implementing the personality is required. In this paper, Reactive Learning Inference System considering emotional factor is proposed. Emotional Facter(E) is defined for a criterion for representing the personal preference. This system is designed to have functions of Reactive filtering by Emotional factor, Incremental learning, perception & inference and knowledge retrieval. This system is applied to the area for analysis of customer's tastes and its performance is analyzed and compared.

This study examines effect in customer satisfaction of the emotional intelligence of members at service providing department in the hotel; A case of five star hotels in Dajeon Research hypotheses were developed based on previous literature, and data were collected from 350 employees working at the hotel restaurant service business located in Daejeon, ROK, were investigated herein The collected data were then analysed using frequence reliability For this research analysis, a self-recording method was used where and examiner explains the survey and respondents writhen down their answers to survey questions Statistical processing in this study was done through data cidubg and data cleaning then with the SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science)v. 18.0. This result the emotional intelligence of service-providing employees at food service department of hotel was found to have a positive effect on customer satisfaction via understanding of others and emotional control. And the understanding of oneself, understanding of others and emotional control in emotional intelligence had a positive effect on job satisfaction. Emotional control, and emotioal use were found to affect organizational commitment positively.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the implications of social welfare workers' understanding of emotional labor and prevention of psychological exhaustion. In order to achieve this goal, I analyzed the effects of the levels of surface acting and deep acting, which are components of emotional labor in social welfare workers in social welfare center, on emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and lack of sense of personal accomplishment which are components of psychological exhaustion. And I empirically analyzed how emotional labor affects psychological exhaustion, when superior support and fellow support as components of social support play a role as moderating variables. Empirical results show that emotional labor affects psychological exhaustion and social support plays a moderating role. Based on these results, theoretical and policy implications and future research directions are presented.

The purpose of this study is explore stress, problem solving and emotional intelligence in nursing students. Participants were recruited from December 2016 to February 2017 by web base survey. The participants were 237 who nursing students in university. Stress, problem solving and emotional intelligence were assessed using two questionnaires; Korean version of the Perceived stress inventory (PSI), problem solving, and Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS). The responses 237 students were analyzed statistically. Significantly emotional intelligence was a correlation stress and problem solving (p>.001). The findings showed that problem solving (${\beta}=.386$), stress (${\beta}=-.259$, empathy ability (${\beta}=.144$), and satisfaction with a major in nursing (${\beta}=.129$). Our finding show that stress levels of low and the problem solving levels of above moderate in emotional intelligence. Especially, the problem solving was important factor in emotional intelligence.
