The Purpose of this study is to examine logistics characteristics related to electronic commerce and to suggest improvement of logistics Service in electronic commerce. This paper concerns the logistics functions which are essential for completing a commerce process even under the EC environment and provides ways to improve the logistics performance. Electronic commerce have introduced two scenes; dramatic change of the existing distribution surroundings and noticeable achievement of the economic advance and social efficiency. But, in the same scene, electronic commerce can be a threat to business condition, especially logistics management. It suggests that for activation of EC it is necessary to strengthen the strategic alliances, introduce GPS and use the third party logistics positively to prepare for the settlements of traffic problems, support the introduction of integrated logistics service and logistics information system.

The main issue relating to electronic bill of lading is to develop the system in which can transfer the title to the goods by electronically, and to support effect of electronic transfer of title by law. BBL, electronic bill of lading being operated by bolero, provides technical devices to that purpose, but current law is not recognize the effect of transfer of title by electronic communication because BBL is different from paper bill of lading naturally. For that reason Bolero has resolved the problem by Rulebook which is multilateral agreement contracted between users and BAL. The Rulebook provides solution, so called, 'attornment' and 'novation'. So, The purpose of this study is to help in understanding BBL through comparison and analysis about the legal background of transfer of title by BBL based on 'attornment' and 'novation' with transfer of bill of lading based on a endorsement and delivery.

While Electronic Commerce is believed to provide new opportunities and environments toward the information society, not many companies have achieved successful construction of Electronic Commerce systems regarding their own technology factors and business process types. This work provides a brief review of Electronic Commerce information infrastructure based on the technology architecture developed. Three major technologies-telecommunication, information processing, and process enhancement - support the architecture, and each major technology consists of its technical enablers. Also, the application factors of Electronic Commerce are defined and analyzed in term of inter-enterprise, intra-enterprise, and enterprise-consumer interactivity. Finally, the implementation strategy is drawn with respect to the technology architecture and three application types.

This study explored social media use among 50 adolescents attending a public high school in a non-Western community. Adolescents participated in focus group interviews and completed a written self-report survey. Findings revealed that these teenagers use electronic communication forms such as phone texting and social networking sites to connect with friends and family. They show a preference for Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram, do not engage in risky Internet behavior, and acknowledge both positive and negative aspects of electronic communication forms. In addition, their selection of electronic communication forms is dependent upon several factors that include the strength of the relationship and type of discourse exchange. For example, they reserve phone texting and cell use, which are more private communication mediums for family and friends. Electronic communication did not replace face-to-face interactions; rather it complemented and extended those interactions. Findings support existing literature on adolescent social media use and those shared with other collectivist cultural groups.

현대 전자전에서 레이더 신호 환경은 매우 복잡하고 고밀도화 되어 가고 있다. 이러한 신호로부터 원래의 방사체로 각각 분리하여 분석하고 식별하기 위한 전자전지원을 위해서는 신뢰성있는 신호분석 기법이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 전자전지원의 신호분석 단계에서 신뢰성을 보장하며 신호처리 비용을 줄일 수 있는 새로운 레이더 신호 그룹화 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 기법은 주파수 변조 특성에 대한 통계적 분포 특성을 활용하여 수신 신호로부터 커널 밀도 추정 방식을 이용하여 신호 그룹화한다. 제안된 기법에 대해 실험 결과를 통해 우수한 성능을 보유함을 확인하였다.

In this paper, a ship detection method is proposed; this method uses edge-based segmentation and histogram of oriented gradient (HOG) with the ship size ratio. The proposed method can prevent a marine collision accident by detecting ships at close range. Furthermore, unlike radar, the method can detect ships that have small size and absorb radio waves because it involves the use of a vision-based system. This system performs three operations. First, the foreground is separated from the background and candidates are detected using Sobel edge detection and morphological operations in the edge-based segmentation part. Second, features are extracted by employing HOG descriptors with the ship size ratio from the detected candidate. Finally, a support vector machine (SVM) verifies whether the candidates are ships. The performance of these methods is demonstrated by comparing their results with the results of other segmentation methods using eight-fold cross validation for the experimental results.

Mosts of export/import cargo has been moving using maritime transport means. Korea had been driven the system automation project using EDI document since the mid-1990s. However, this automation system comes upon about 40-50% against overall maritime business process, manual or paper document processing work is existing as ever. International e-business environment also has changing into electronic form document transaction from paper document-based transaction. International standardization organization, UN/CEFACT proposed UNeDocs for paperless jtransaction. UNeDocs is a specification to define XML data model as well as electronic form. With UNeDocs, it is not necessary to generate the duplexed data, and it can support user convenient and guarantee the flexibility. This paper defines the UNeDocs data model for EDI and Off-Line processing at the current maritime business. Then, it have to check XML syntax and structure for the defined data model through quality of document check system. Also, it explains the applying plan about the defined UNeDocs data model. It is possible to support paperless transaction as defining UNeDocs-based standard data model and converting into paper document, XML and EDI document using UNeDocs data model.

This paper examined the factors affecting the implementation of information technology in Korean Global Logistics Companies. Nowadays, the spread of electronic commerce using internet demands a large changes doing business with company to company and give that company a change to recognize logistics. To support logistics activity, all kinds of companies are using the computer and are recognized that the efficient using of Cyber Logistics Information will mainly play a roll to strength the companies competition power. We gathered detailed data on our sample companies mainly from publicly available sources : Korea International Freight Forwarder Association (KIFFA), and companies' web sites. A structured questionnaire was used to collect information about: (1) the company (2) To investigate the factors of the three contexts described above on korean Global Logistics companies's electronic trade adoption and implementation. (3) Usage level of electronic logistics. Most of the approximately 70 questions enumerated in the questionnaire were open-ended, which was consistent with our primary objective of developing a conceptual framework that was informed by empirical evidence. This study suggests that top management support and influential power are main factors for the Korean Global Logistics Companies.

최근 컴퓨팅 기술과 통신 기술의 급속한 발전으로 클라이언트/서버 컴퓨팅 환경에서 네트워크 컴퓨팅 시대를 지나 인터넷 컴퓨팅 시대가 도래하고 있다. 인터넷 사용이 보편화되어 감에 따라 기업의 정보 시스템이 인터넷 기반의 인트라넷/익스트라넷 시스템으로 구축되어 가고 있으며 미래의 비즈니스 환경은 기업의 이익 및 효율성을 최대화하기 위해 기업간 전자상거래가 보편화될 것으로 예상된다. <중략> 본 논문에서는 기업간 전자상거래의 통합 데이터 환경을 위하여 각 기업에 존재하는 기존의 시스템을 유지하면서 이질적인 데이터베이스들을 투명하게 접근할 수 있는 방법으로 웹 환경에서 Java/CORBA 기술, 관계형 및 객체지향형 데이터베이스와 파일 정보를 수용하기 위한 객체 질의 언어를 사용하는 데이터 공유 지원 시스템을 설계 및 구현 한다.

In this study, Multi-Radial Basis Function Support Vector Machine (Multi-RBF SVM) classifier is introduced based on a composite kernel function. In the proposed multi-RBF support vector machine classifier, the input space is divided into several local subsets considered for extremely nonlinear classification tasks. Each local subset is expressed as nonlinear classification subspace and mapped into feature space by using kernel function. The composite kernel function employs the dual RBF structure. By capturing the nonlinear distribution knowledge of local subsets, the training data is mapped into higher feature space, then Multi-SVM classifier is realized by using the composite kernel function through optimization procedure similar to conventional SVM classifier. The original training data set is partitioned by using some unsupervised learning methods such as clustering methods. In this study, three types of clustering method are considered such as Affinity propagation (AP), Hard C-Mean (HCM) and Iterative Self-Organizing Data Analysis Technique Algorithm (ISODATA). Experimental results on benchmark machine learning datasets show that the proposed method improves the classification performance efficiently.
