확장형 감소차수 관측기를 이용한 전기식 조종날개 구동장치의 슬라이딩 모드 제어 (A sliding mode control of an electro-mechanical fin actuation system using extended reducer-observer(ERO))

  • The objective of this paper is to design a sliding mode controller of an electro-mechanical fin actuation system using extended reducer-observer(ERO) which is used in order to estimate the velocity. The employed observer enables proper estimation of the plant state variables, even in the case of the constant or slow varying load torque disturbances. The effectiveness of this control scheme is verified by comparison with a PID control through a series of simulation studies. The simulation results show that the sliding mode control designed with the ERO gives good control performances.

  • 대체에너지 시스템에서 필수적인 계통연계형 인버터는 LC필터를 거친 정현전압 출력에 계통과 연계용 인덕터를 연결하여 사용하여 왔으나, 최근 들어 인버터와 계통을 LC필터 없이 인덕터로만 계통과 연결하여 직접 전류를 제어하는 형태가 적용되고 있다. 또한 출력에 절연 변압기를 사용하던 기존방식과 달리 변압기가 없는 비절연형 인버터는 전류제어를 통해 계통과 직접연결하고, 부피감소와 원가절감을 이룰 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 저주파 절연변압기가 없는 3kW급의 태양광 발전시스템 시제품을 소개하고 단상계통과 연계한 전류제어 알고리즘의 실험결과를 통해 순시전류제어의 타당성을 확인한다.

  • This paper presents a novel prototype of active voltage clamped quasi-resonant ZVS-PWM forward DC-DC converter designed for specific low voltage high current application. We establish the soft-switching forward converter with a high frequency isolated link which can efficient operate over wide load ranges under conditions of zero voltage soft-switching and active voltage clamped switching. In addition, we evaluate connection of the soft-switching forward converter with large capacitor which capacitance is over 100[F].

  • 본 연구는 순수 국내기술로 개발된 국산화 전동차 광주도시철도 1호선의 추진제어 장치의 본선시운전에 관한 것으로, 외국기술에 의존해온 추진 제어장치를 국내기술로 설계하고 본선시운전을 통하여 추진제어장치의 신뢰성 및 안정성에 관하여 실험을 실시하였다. 그리고 추진제어 장치에 적용한 알고리즘은 필터 사이즈를 감소하기위하여 기존의 패턴에 의한 PWM방식을 사용치 않고, 출력전류의 고조파 리플이 적은 저주파 동기 공간벡터 PWM 알고리즘을 제안하고, 가선전압의 변동에 강인한 댐핑 제어 및 과전압 제한 제어 알고리즘을 제시하고, 제안된 알고리즘은 본선시운전을 통하여 타당함을 확인하였다.

  • This paper describes the transmission method of an information using communication networks between RTU(Remote Terminal Unit) and PCU(Protection and Control System) of the DC switchgear for Light Railway Vehicle. Also the test result carried out in the laboratory was represented. In this test, transmission signal waveform, polling time, response time and request/response frame between RTU and PCU were measured. The field test including the measurements of analog signal and status of the digital logic operation of PCU was conducted in Gyeongsan Test Track.

Levy-type solution for analysis of a magneto-electro-elastic panel

  • This paper studies electro-magneto-mechanical bending studying of the cylindrical panels based on shear deformation theory. The cylindrical panel is constrained with two simply-supported edges at longitudinal direction and two clamped boundary conditions at circumferential direction. The governing equations are derived based on the principle of virtual work in cylindrical coordinate system. Levy-type solution of the governing equations is derived to reduce two dimensional PDEs to a 2D ODEs. The reduced ordinary differential equation is solved using the Eigen-value Eigen-vector method for the clamped-clamped boundary condition. The electro-magneto-mechanical bending results are obtained to show that every displacement, rotation and electromagnetic potentials how change with changes of initial electromagnetic potentials and mechanical loads along longitudinal and circumferential directions.

  • 발사체의 추력벡터제어를 위한 구동장치시스템에서 관성부하를 갖는 전기기계식 위치서보 시스템의 공진 특성과 유연한 기체구조체 지지부의 구조공진이 결합되어 합성공진이 발생한다. 이렇게 발생한 공진은 발사체의 자세제어시스템에 되먹임되어 자세안정성에 영향을 줄 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 발사체의 추력벡터제어를 위한 직구동 방식의 전기기계식 구동장치의 합성공진을 해석하기 위한 모델을 소개하고 합성공진 현상을 저감하여 구동기의 동특성을 개선하는 동적 하중 되먹임 제어기법의 해석 및 시험 결과를 기술하였다.

Multiphysics response of magneto-electro-elastic beams in thermo-mechanical environment

  • In this article, the multiphysics response of magneto-electro-elastic (MEE) cantilever beam subjected to thermo-mechanical loading is analysed. The equilibrium equations of the system are obtained with the aid of the principle of total potential energy. The constitutive equations of a MEE material accounting the thermal fields are used for analysis. The corresponding finite element (FE) formulation is derived and model of the beam is generated using an eight noded 3D brick element. The 3D FE formulation developed enables the representation of governing equations in all three axes, achieving accurate results. Also, geometric, constitutive and loading assumptions required to dimensionality reduction can be avoided. Numerical evaluation is performed on the basis of the derived formulation and the influence of various mechanical loading profiles and volume fractions on the direct quantities and stresses is evaluated. In addition, an attempt has been made to compare the individual effect of thermal and mechanical loading with the combined effect. It is believed that the numerical results obtained helps in accurate design and development of sensors and actuators.

Design of a Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter Based on Power Electronics Building Blocks and Control for High Performance

  • This paper proposes a practical design for a Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel (CHBM) inverter based on Power Electronics Building Blocks (PEBB) and high performance control to improve current control and increase fault tolerance. It is shown that the expansion and modularization characteristics of the CHBM inverter are improved since the individual inverter modules operate more independently, when using the PEBB concept. It is also shown that the performance of current control can be improved with voltage delay compensation and the fault tolerance can be increased by using unbalance three-phase control. The proposed design and control methods are described in detail and the validity of the proposed system is verified experimentally in various industrial fields.

  • In this paper, we design the H$\infty$ optimal controller satisfying robust stability and performance in spite of the plant uncertainty for an electro-mechanical actuator system and analyze the controller in frequency domain. H$\infty$ optimal controller K was designed using iteration algorithm suggested by DOYLE. Using the controller in an electro-mechanical actuator system, the joint with very small coupling rigidity coefficient was used to vary the control parameter. The plant unstructured uncertainty was assumed to be a multiplicative type.
