Autotuning fuzzy PID controller for position control of DC servo motor

  • This paper describes an autotuning fuzzy PID controller for a position control of DC serve motor. Because ZNM(Ziegler-Nichols Method) with relay feedback has the difficulty in re-tuning the PID parameters and adaptive method has complex algorithm, a new method to overcome those problems is required. The proposed scheme determines the initial PID gains by using ZNM with relay feedback, and then re-tunes the optimal PID parameters by using fuzzy expert system whenever control conditions are changed. To show the validity of the proposed method, a position control of DC servo motor is illustrated by computer simulation and is experimented by a designed controller.

  • In this paper, arbitrary pulse power for electro chemical etching, which manufactures the groove of fluid dynamic bearing and aero dynamic bearing, is presented. For high precision manufacture, we generally use high precision CNC machine. However, this case has the disadvantage that cost is very expensive and bur due to bites of tool can be generated. So most of companies are interested in the method of electro chemical etching. But for more precision results, it is important to decision the parameters of electrical conditions, such as currents and frequency. We designed and made the arbitrary pulse power system easy to input the parameters for optimal conditions. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the system strategy proposed for the high precision manufacture.

Control of Deposition Parameters in ITO Films: Figure of Merit

  • Indium tin oxide films were deposited on unheated PET substrates by DC reactive magnetron sputtering of In-Sn (90-10 wt%) metallic alloy target. Electrical and optical properties of as-deposited films were systematically studied by control of the deposition parameters such as working pressure, DC power, and oxygen partial pressure. The figures of merit are important factors that summarize briefly the relationship between electrical and optical properties of transparent conducting films. The formulae of $T/R_{sh}$ and $T^{10}/R_{sh}$ are expressed as a function of transmittance and sheet resistance. The best values of those figures of merit were approximately 38.6 and $8.95({\times}10^{-3}\Omega^{-1})$ respectively.

  • The carbon film was deposited by the electrolysis of methanol solution. Carbon films have been grown on silicon substrates using the method of chemical process. From investigations of the Raman spectroscopy and the FTIR spectroscopy, the carbon film deposited by the electrolysis was identified the hydrogenated carbon film with the porous structure. The carbon film deposited by elctrolysis of methanol was identified as the hydrogenated carbon film with porous structure. Deposition parameters for the growth of the carbon films were current density, methanol liquid temperature. We electrical resistance and surface morphology of carbon films formed various conditions specified by deposition parameters. It was clarified that the high electrical resistance carbon films with smooth surface morphology are grown when a distance between the electrodes is relatively wider. We found that the electrical resistance in the films independent of both current density and methanol liquid temperature. The temperature dependence of the electrical resistance in the low resistance carbon films is different from one obtained in graphite..

  • We propose a new method for detecting Backemf of a motor and estimating parameters of a motor using Recursive Least Square Estimator. The motor speed is obtained from the estimated parameters. We experiment the PID speed controller with the estimated speed.

  • A musculotendon model is proposed to predict muscle force during muscle fatigue due to the continuous functional electrical stimulation(FES). Muscle fatigue dynamics can be modeled as the electrical admittance of muscle fibers and included in activation dynamics based on the{{{{ { Ca}^{2+ } }}}} kinetics. The admittance depends on the fatigue variable that monotonically increase or decrease if electrical pulse exists or not, and on the stimulation parameters and the number of applied pulses. In the response of the change in activation the normalized Hill-type contraction dynamics connected with activation dynamics decline the muscle shortening velocity and thus its force under muscle fatigue. The computer simulation shows that the proposed model can express the muscle fatigue and its recovery without changing any stimulation parameters.

  • 본 논문에서는 열병합 발전시스템의 특성 실험으로 구한 실측데이터를 이용하여 발전시스템의 모델 파라미터를 결정하는 기법을 제안하였고 이에 대한 타당성을 입증하져다. 제안한 모델은 발전기, 여자시스템, 터빈/조속기를 주로 다루었다. 도출된 파라미터의 타당성을 검토하기 위해서 실측값과 시뮬레이션 결과를 비교하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과를 실측결과와 일치함을 확인하였습니다.

  • In this paper, linear discrete model of the electro-hydraulic servo system are made for parameters estimation. The parameters of electro-hydraulic servo system are estimated using the recursive least square method. Persistent excitation conditions are studied in order to estimate parameters of electro-hydraulic servo system to real values and parameters estimation affections are studied due to the forgetting factors variation. As the results, An parameter estimation method has been synthesized for minimizing the error between reference and error.
