전기자동차 충전구 위치에 따른 전자파 방사특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Electromagnetic Interference of Electric Vehicles with Variations of Charging Device Inlet Location)

  • According to revolutionary developments in automobile technologies, eco-friendly advanced vehicles (hybrid vehicle, hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle, electric vehicle, etc.) are rapidly increasing. The electromagnetic compatibility is getting more important for development of a vehicle because those advanced vehicles are driven by electric energy and equipped with more electric systems. In general, electromagnetic compatibility tests consist of an electromagnetic interference(EMI) test and an electromagnetic susceptibility(EMS) test. EMI test of the electric vehicles are needed not only in driving mode but also in charging mode because they must be recharged by much electric energy for driving. Depending on vehicle manufacturers, the charging device type and the location of charging device inlet in electric vehicles are various. In this paper, in order to investigate EMI of electric vehicles in charging mode in consideration of the direction of measuring antenna and the location of charging device inlet, a series of electromagnetic emission tests are conducted using three electric vehicles (neighborhood electric vehicle, electric vehicle and electric vehicle-bus). The test results show that electromagnetic emission measurements in charging mode are dependent on the direction of measuring antenna and the location of charging device inlet.

소형 전기자동차의 전기동력시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on an Electric Power System Design of a Small Electric Vehicle)

  • The electric power system design of the electric vehicle are required to improve the performance. The electric power system on the electric vehicle are consist of a battery, a pedal sensor, an electric motor and a controller. In this paper, Automotive manufacture's various electric vehicle models are investigated and analyzed. The mathematical models for the electric power system are studied, and then important variables are considered. Simulation and experimental test results show the model of the electric power system on the electric vehicle and design parameter decision are effective to the electric vehicle design.

  • Design consideration on electric drivetrain(E-D/T), usually referred as electric motor for driving, its compatible reduction gear, and inverter, are performed for developing electric vehicle(EV) with efficient driving performance. Universal mode of driving cycle has been used to make up the actual vehicle performance, and its results are incorporated to the design of E-D/T.

  • There is a growing interest in hybrid electric vehicles due to environmental concerns. Recent efforts are directed toward developing an improved main component systems for the hybrid electric vehicle applications. Soon after the introduction of electric starter for internal combustion engine early this century, despite being energy efficient and nonpolluting, electric vehicle lost the battle completly to internal combustion engine due to its limited range and inferior performance. Hybrid Electric vehicles offer the most promising solutions to reduce the emission of vehicles. This paper describes a method for cost reduction estimation of parallel hybrid electric vehicle. We used a cost reduction structure that consisted of five major subsystems (three-type and two-type motor) for parallel hybrid electric vehicle. Especially, we estimated the potential for cost reductions in parallel hybrid electric vehicle as a function of time using the learning curve. Also, we estimated the potentials of cost by depreciation.

  • 플러그인 하이브리드 전기자동차(Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle, PHEV)는 하이브리드 전기자동차(Hybrid Electric Vehicle, HEV)의 일종으로, 배터리 용량을 HEV보다 더욱 증대시키고 배터리의 충전을 전력망으로부터 할 수 있도록 한 자동차이며, 순수 배터리 전기자동차(Plug-in Battery Electric Vehicle, PBEV)는 전력망으로부터 전기를 배터리에 충전하여 저장하고 배터리에 저장된 전기만을 이용하여 운전가능한 자동차이다. 최근에 PHEV와 PBEV에 대한 관심과 개발이 전세계적으로 급속하게 증가하고 있다. 그러므로 이들 전력망 충전식 전기자동차가 전력망의 전력수요에 미치는 영향을 검토하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 이들 PHEV와 PBEV 자동차의 보급으로 전력망의 전력수요, 이산화탄소 배출량과 차량구매자의 관점에서 운전비용에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 2020년경에 차량보급이 10%정도로 이루어질 것을 가정하여 영향을 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 실차기반의 전기자동차 진단시스템을 활용한 교육용 콘텐츠에 관한 연구를 대상으로 한다. 먼저, 최근 늘어나고 있는 전기자동차의 이해를 돕기 위해 전기자동차를 구성하고 있는 핵심 부품과 전기자동차의 주행모드와 동작원리에 대해서 기술한다. 또한 전기자동차 시험 장치와 특성분석을 위한 진단시스템을 구현하였으며 실차기반의 실험 수행을 통해 주행모드에 따라 나타나는 특성을 분석하였다.

  • Although the number of domestic electric vehicle registrations exceeded 100,000 in the first half of 2020, legal and institutional concerns for maintenance and management are insufficient. In particular, the existing automobile maintenance business and qualification holders are not prohibited from performing electric vehicle maintenance without additional qualifications or training under the current laws. In this study, we review the current status of Korean laws and regulations, examine discussions abroad such as the UK, the US, and Germany, and then discuss desirable laws and institutional reform. This study proposes to temporarily reorganize the system in a way that separates the electric vehicle maintenance business and the electric vehicle maintenance qualifications from conventional vehicle.

자동차 전력 시스템의 전기적 등가회로 모델 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on a Development of Electric Equivalent Circuit Models of Vehicle Electric Power System)

  • Vehicle electric power system, which consists of two major components; an alternator and a battery, supplies electric power to vehicle electric and electronic systems. In recent years, bigger power supply is required for the rapid demand of the number of vehicle electric and electronic systems. It is important that vehicle power system should be analyzed exactly. For the simulation of vehicle electric power system, appropriate component model of vehicle electric power system should be chosen. In this paper, a simplified and accurate battery model is developed to obtain the battery parameters, and a Variable Alternator Terminal Voltage Model is introduced to described an alternator. The case study shows that simulation results using the suggested models are well agreed with the experiments.

  • In recent, there are tremendous requirements to improve the fuel economy of vehicle. For satisfaction of requirements, Hybrid Electric Vehicle or other technologies are suggested and implemented. However, it should be noted that almost 35% energy loss is occurred in the shape of exhaust gas as ever. For increase the efficiency of vehicle, it is certain that the exhaust gas energy should be recover, and generate energy. In previous studies, the technologies such as turbo-compound, thermoelectric and rankine cycle are suggested to recover the exhaust heat energy in vehicle. But, they focus on the conventional vehicle or parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle. Series Hybrid Electric Vehicle has advantage that the engine and drive shaft are de-coupled. It means that the engine can be operated in high efficiency area regardless with vehicle states. Therefore, if rankine cycle is applied to series hybrid electric vehicle, operating condition of that becomes almost steady. So, in this study, theoretical analysis on the efficiency of rankine cycle applied to series hybrid electric city bus is carried and the energy recovered from exhaust gas during vehicle drive cycle is calculated.

A Study of Servitization Strategy for Electric Vehicles

  • Purpose - This study proposes a framework for service innovation strategy to cope with the emergence of electric vehicles. Research design, data, and methodology - This study designs an electric-vehicle lease program and collects the resulting data to analyze. By analyzing the previous studies on the electric-vehicle market with cases, a theoretical framework based on existing theories is to be set. Results - This study proposes a strategy for the rapid diffusion of electric vehicles. First, a partitioned-pricing system is proposed to create an advantage for electric vehicles in terms of initial purchasing cost relative to traditional internal combustion vehicles. Second, focusing on reducing switching costs is important because electric vehicles have relatively low resale values due to the uncertainty of battery life. Third, a battery-leasing strategy is supposed to reduce the cost of switching from a traditional internal combustion vehicle to an electric vehicle. Conclusions - This paper can provide strategic guidance for decision makers in firms that have already entered the electric-vehicle leasing market by making a recommendation such as a service innovation strategy. The proposed strategy can be considered as an electric vehicle market in the future and can contribute to the wider diffusion of electric vehicles.
