5상 5KW 표면부착형 영구자석 동기발전기(SPMSG) 개발 (A Development of Surface Permanent Mount Synchronous Generator for 5 Phase 5KW)

  • This paper propose a development of surface permanent mount synchronous generator(SPMSG) for 5-phase 5Kw in order to study a polyphase ac machinery that keep hold of advantages more than traditional three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor, such as reducing a amplitude of torque pulsation decreasing electric noises, and increasing the reliability. Design methods of the generator use a development tools with Maxwell 2D and Simplorer. There are designed drawing of manufactured frames of the SPMSG. A amplitude and waveform of the generated electromotive force, FFT analysis of harmonics within output voltages, and reviewing a experiment results are shown by variable output frequency. We are presenting a design and manufacture methods for the SPMSG.

  • This paper presents a new approach integrated Case-Based Reasoning with Self. Organization Map(SOM) in diagnosis systems. The causes of faults are obtained by case-base trained from SOM. When the vibration problem of rotating machinery occurs, this provides an exact diagnosis method that shows the fault cause of vibration problem. In order to verify the performance of algorithm, we applied it to diagnose the fault cause of the electric motor.

  • This study was intended to develop the system which controls header height of combine automatically by means of sensing the difference between the header and the ground surface. A micro-computer was used for the controller. The sensing unit designed for the study was composed of potentiometer, oscillating link, and gage wheel. An electric-hydraulic circuit was driven by microcomputer to control header height of combine. Performance of the control system was tested by computer simulation, stationary operation of header, and traveling on the simulated ground.

  • This study was intended to develop the automatic feeding depth control system of the head-feed combine which could feed the rice head into threshing unit at the optimal depth regardless of plant height and uneven ground surface. In the control system, one-board microcomputer was used for the controller instead of conventional electric circuits. Field test of the combine equipped with the control system was conducted to evaluate its overall performance. It was also investigated how the location and time delay of rice head sensor affect the system performance.

  • In the make-to-order (MTO) manufacturing environment, one of the important issues is setting attainable delivery dates for customer orders, which significantly affects the performance of the MTO manufacturing. Although this topic has received considerable attention in the literature, most of the efforts took a lower level approach that is concerned primarily with the effect of various delivery date assignment methods on the relative performance of some dispatching rules. This paper proposes the delivery date decision support system which takes a higher level approach of integrating the marketing and production planning functions with the consideration of the current capacity and the workload smoothing. The proposed system has been implemented in a Rotating Machinery Shop and the results of the implementation showed good performance.

직동식 공기압 서보밸브 개발 (Development of Direct Drive type Pneumatic Servo Valve)

  • Electro-pneumatic servo valve is an electro-mechanical device which converts electric signals into a proper pneumatic flow rate or pressure. In order to improve the overall performance of pneumatic servo systems, electro-pneumatic servo valves are required, which have fast dynamic characteristics, no air leakage at a null point, and can be fabricated at a low-cost. The objective of this research is to design and to fabricate a new electro-pneumatic servo valve which satisfies the above-mentioned requirements. In order to design the mechanism of the servo valve optimally, the flow inside the valve depending upon the position of spool was analyzed variously, and on the basis of such analysis results, the valve mechanism, which was formed by combination of the spool and the sleeve, was designed and manufactured. Further, the performance of pneumatic servo valve has been verified through an overall performance test on the developed product.

  • The main purpose of this paper is to study on the effect of contact state between metal-polymer interface in electrical conduction of polymeric materials under low field region. The electric conduction of polythylene (PE) sandwitched in between two gold (Au) electrodes was lower than that of PE Sandwitched in between two Aluminium (Al) electrodes under low external field. The discharge current of PE which have been treated by the high field application is also obtained some results under no external field. The obtained results can suggest that the material of electrode come to influence on the electrical conduction of polymeric materials and are important as a basis for analysing the data on TSC. It is also suggestive that results of observation must be considered in cases of insulation design of electrical machinery.

  • This paper reports the performance of a CB (Circuit Breaker) and converter for the battery operated Wind-PV (Photovoltaic) system. For this purpose, a fluctuating reduction controller for an electric generation hybrid (wind+PV) system is suggested. The method operates a wind turbine, PV, CB, converter and battery. Integration of wind and PV sources, which are generally complementary, usually reduce the capacity of the battery. Also, CB controls the overvoltage of the generation system. The objective is to control the operation of the converter and the CB and reduce power fluctuation. This paper includes discussion on system performance, power quality, fluctuation and effect of the randomness of the wind.

  • The purpose of this research is to find out the difference of success factors of End-User Computing (EUC) which are applicable to our corporations. There have been many researches related to EUC success factors, however, as the researches have been concentrated on limited type of business areas or have been studied without distinguishing the differences of characteristics of business areas, these researches are not sufficient to cover the situation of the corporations, in general. In this research, the range of companies to be investigated was widely extended to such as electric and electronic company, banking, construction company, petroleum and chemistry company, machinery and metal company, and beverage and food company. EUC success factors which influence the factors that are used to evaluate the EUC performance for each business area were found to be different. The result of this research can be useful for a company which is seeking EUC success factors for its own business area.

  • Test results of urban transit maglev system(UTM-01) are reported. Maglev project team in KIMM, in cooperation with Hyundai Precision Company and the Korea Electric Research Institute(KERI), has been developing a prototype urban transit vehicle since 1995. Since last May, we have been trying to improve performance of the first vehicle UTM-01 both in levitation and propulsion systems. In this paper, we report various test results of the vehicle UTM-01, present status and future prospect, and what have been done so far to assure its required performance.
