The 'MZ generation' is accustomed to expressing their thoughts and opinions online. As a result, the role of social media in understanding the opinions and public sentiment of the MZ generation has become increasingly important. In particular, the role of social media in understanding the opinions of young people in political contexts such as policies and elections is becoming more significant. Traditionally, in such political situations, various institutions conduct opinion surveys to grasp the opinions of the people. However, existing opinion surveys have many errors and limitations in understanding the specific opinions of the entire population since they are conducted on arbitrary individuals through survey techniques. Online communities are representative social media that share the opinions of the public on specific issues such as politics, economics, and culture. Therefore, online communities are widely used as a means to supplement the limitations of traditional opinion polls. In particular, the MZ generation is familiar with online platforms, and their political support has significant influence on election results and policy decisions. With this regard, this study analyzed the relationship between the sentiment reflected in online community text data by age group on major candidates and public opinion survey support rates during the Korean presidential election for those in their 20s. The analysis showed that negative sentiments reflected in online communities by the MZ generation have a negative correlation with public opinion survey support rates. This study contributes to theory and practice by revealing a significant association between social media and public opinion polls.

Local governments within the boundaries of a state need increasing flexibility to satisfy diverse economic, social, and environmental goals in their particular geographical setting. However, many candidates in the local election in South Korea tend to see local politics as an extension of national-level politics. In particular, this paper mainly deals with how the voters' evaluation of a president's performance has influenced subnational elections in South Korea. Our analysis suggests that the fate of candidates in subnational elections is shaped by the performance of the incumbent president in both economic development and foreign affairs.

In this paper, an improved zone-based routing protocol for heterogeneous wireless sensor networks is proposed. The proposed protocol has fixed the sized zone according to the distance from the base station and used a dynamic clustering technique for advanced nodes to select a cluster head with maximum residual energy to transmit the data. In addition, we select an optimal route with minimum energy consumption for normal nodes and conserve energy by state transition throughout data transmission. Simulation results indicated that the proposed protocol performed better than the other algorithm by reducing energy consumption and providing a longer network lifetime and better throughput of data packets.

The use of web service has been increased rapidly, with an increase in the number of available services, finding the exact service is the challenging task. Service discovery is the most significant job to complete the service discoverers needs. In order to achieve the efficient service discovery, we focus on designing a cluster based service discovery model for service registering and service provisioning among all mobile nodes in a mobile ad hoc network (MANETs). A dynamic backbone of nodes (i.e. cluster heads) that forms a service repository to which MANET nodes can publish their services and/or send their service queries. The designed model is based on storing services with their service description on cluster head nodes that are found in accordance with the proposed cluster head election model. In addition to identifying and analyzing the system parameters for finding the effectiveness of our model, this paper studies the stability analysis of the network, overhead of the cluster, and bandwidth utilization and network traffic is evaluated using analytic derivations and experimental evaluation has been done.

Although many system dynamists point out the close relationship between institutional economics and system dynamics, the relationship between institutional political theory and system dynamics approach is not explicitly appreciated yet. We developed a system dynamics model to investigate theoretical propositions of institutional politics. Our system dynamics model showed how the endogenous mechanism can explain the political changes as well as orders. Although simple in the causal structure, our model could show a complex behavior of political competition. Several simulation results imply that some unexpected changes in election and power competition may come from the endogenous system rather than from exogenous factors such as economic and environmental shocks.

Finding influential factors from given clustering result is a typical data science problem. Genetic Algorithm based method is proposed to derive influential factors and its performance is compared with two conventional methods, Classification and Regression Tree (CART) and Chi-Squared Automatic Interaction Detection (CHAID), by using Dunn's index measure. To extract the influential factors of preference towards political parties in South Korea, the vote result of $18^{th}$ presidential election and 'Demographic', 'Health and Welfare', 'Economic' and 'Business' related data were used. Based on the analysis, reverse engineering was implemented. Implementation of reverse engineering based approach for influential factor analysis can provide new set of influential variables which can present new insight towards the data mining field.

The inhibitory effects of nitrate on Fe(III) and humic acid reduction were examined in Shewanella putrefaciens DK-1. Therer is no difference in Fe(III) reduction until 25 hours between cultures using Fe(III) production was decreased drastically when Fe(III) and nitrate were used as electron acceptors. The production of AHQDS(2,6-anthrahydroquinon disulfonate) showed similar patterns when AQDS alone and both AQDS and Fe(III) were used as electron acceptors. When AQDS(2,6-anthraquinon disulfonate) and nitrate were used as electron acceptors, the production of AHQDS was completely inhibited.
