  • 본 연구에서는 가공경화지수 (n)가 서로 다른 몇가지 재료를 선택하고 과대하 중의 비 (%PL)를 달리하는 단일 과대하중 피로 시험을 행하여 재료의 가공경화지수가 피로 균열 진파의 지연거동에 미치는 영향과 아울러 균열닫힘현상과의 관계를 구명하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 표면 균열이 있는 평판의 탄소성 피로하중 상태에서 성장하는 균열 형태의 변화와, 작용하는 응력의 크기에 따른 균열 개페구 특성의 변화를 연구하 였다.또, 유효 응력 확대계수 범위, .DELTA.K$_{eff}$와 J적분범위, .DELTA.J가 탄소성 응력 상태에서의 표면 피로균열 진전속도를 나타내는 역학양으로 사용되는데 따른 적합성등 을 검토하였다.

  • The fatigue growth behavior of short cracks were studied various load ratios. Computer-aided unloading elastic compliance method was employed to measure the closure and the length of short cracks. In the dc/dN-$\Delta$K relationships. the decreasing behavior of the growth rate of short cracks is due to the decrease of crack opening ratio with increasing crack length. Irrespective of load ratio. the growth rate of short cracks can be well decribed in terms of the effective stress intensity factor range $\Delta$K$_{eff}$, which is calculated on the base of crack closure. dc/dN-$\Delta$K$_{eff}$ relationships of short cracks are found to coincide well with the corresponding long crack relationships. accordingly. the growth rate of short cracks can be predicted using that of long cracks.ort cracks can be predicted using that of long cracks.cks.

SS41강의 부식피로 균열 전파특성에 미치는 3.5% NaCl수용액의 영향 (The effects of 3.5% NaCl solution on the corrosion fatigue crack propagation characteristics of SS41 steel)

  • The corrosion fatigue crack propagation characteristics of SS41 steel in 3.5% NaCl solution have been evaluated for loading frequencies of 1Hz and 0.2Hz. A sine wave loading profile was used for fatigue testing. Each test was carried out at a constant stress ratio, R(0.1). The main results are summarized as follows; 1. Fatigue crack propagation rate was higher in 3.5% NaCl solution than in air, higher in the base metal than in the weld metal, and higher at f =0.2Hz than at f =1Hz. 2. The crack closure level of the base metal was not influenced by cyclic frequencies, but that of the weld metal was much influenced. 3. When the crack closure effect was eliminated in the evaluation of crack propagation characteristics by using $\Delta K_{eff}$, the envirommental influence was distinctly observed. At the base metal, crack propagation rate was enhanced by the hydrogen embrittlement, and the weld metal was reduced by the crac closure. 4. There was clearly observed hydrogen embrittlement and severely corroded aspect at fracture surface of lower frequency than that of higher frequency, and at that of base metal than that of the weld metal.

  • 본 연구에서는 2상계 스테인리스강의 모재 및 용접부에 대하여 대기중의 피로시험과 인공해수중의 부식피로 시험을 모재부와 용접부의 .alpha.,.gamma.상의 상비율 변화에 따른 조직의 변화 및 용접잔유응력의 영향이 크랙전파에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 응력-스트레인의 히스테리스곡선에서 균열닫힘 거동을 실측하고 이들의 결과로 부터 유효응력확대계수와 균열전파속도와 관계를 정리하여 이들의 문제를 해석하였다.

  • 구마모토 안산암을 대상으로 이중 비틀림(DT) 시험을 통해 유도 홈의 단면 형상이 암석의 응력부식지수에 미치는 영향에 대하여 조사하였다. 정변위속도법에서 변위속도가 증가할수록 균열성장속도는 증가하지만 파괴인성계수는 평균 2.07 MN/m$^{3}$2/로 거의 일정하였다. 정변위법을 통하여 유도 홈의 형상이 사각형, 원형, 삼각형인 시험편을 이용하여 얻은 응력부식지수는 각각 평균 37, 36, 38로 홈의 형상에 관계없이 거의 일정한 값을 보이지만 표준편차는 삼각형 홈에서 가장 크게 나타났다. 암석의 DT시험은 중앙부에 유도 홈이 있는 시험편을 이용하는 것이 효과적이지만 광물의 평균입경 이상의 폭을 가진 사각형 단면의 홈을 이용하는 것이 가장 적절하다.

라운딩 펀치에 의한 프레팅 상태에서의 균열 해석 (Crack Analysis under Fretting Condition by Rounded Punch)

  • Surface edge crack subjected to contact stresses is analysed. A punch with corner radii is considered to press the semi-infinite plane. Partial slip problem is solved when a shear force is applied to the punch. Dislocation density function method is used to solve the present mixed mode crack problem. The crack length of positive K1 is examined, which is affected by the ratio of the flat portion to the total width of the punch. Surface traction during one cycle of the shear force is evaluated to simulate the fretting condition. The compliance change of the contact surface is also investigated during the shear cycle. It is found that the crack grows during only a part of the cycle, which may be termed as effective period of crack growing. A design method for restraining the fretting failure is discussed, from which recommendable geometry of the punch is suggested.

Effective Punching Shear and Moment Capacity of Flat Plate-Column Connection with Shear Reinforcements for Lateral Loading

  • In this study, three isolated interior flat slab-column connections that include three types of shear reinforcement details; stirrup, shear stud and shear band were tested under reversed cyclic lateral loading to observe the capacity of slab-column connections. These reinforced joints are 2/3 scale miniatures designed to have identical punching capacities. These experiments showed that the flexural failure mode appears in most specimens while the maximum unbalanced moment and energy absorbing capacity increases effectively, with the exception of an unreinforced standard specimen. Finally, the results of the experiments, as wel l as those of experiments previously carried out by researchers, are applied to the eccentricity shear stress model presented in ACI 318-08. The failure mode is therefore defined in this study by considering the upper limits for punching shear and unbalanced moment. In addition, an intensity factor is proposed for effective widths of slabs that carry an unbalanced moment delivered by bending.

  • Application of the relationship $da/dN=C({\Delta}K)^{m}$ is effective in the analysis of fatigue crack growth life. The values of material constant C and m have great influences on the predicted fatigue life and the relationship between fatigue crack growth rate(da/dN) and stress intensity factor range(${\Delta}K$) is effective in fatigue crack growth behavior. In this paper, fatigue crack growth behavior of the welded joints in HT60 grade TMCP(Thermo Machanical Control Process) steel have been studied. To evalute the fatigue crack growth rates of HT60 grade TMCP steel, fatigue test was performed by base metal(BM), heat affected zone(HAZ) and weld metal(WM) in TMCP steel at room temperature. We determined the relationship of $da/dN-{\Delta}K$ by correlation between C and m obtained from the Paris-Erdogan power law data supplied HT60 grade TMCP steel. The obtained results from this study indicate that fatigue crack growth rate of TMCP steel is not influenced by softening effect which occurs in the HAZ when high heat input weld is carried out. Softening effects, which affect fatigue properties. are shown that it is not affected to the fatigue growth rates significantly.

수정 Forman 모델을 이용한 고성능 강재의 피로균열전파와 피로수명평가 (Fatigue Crack Propagation and Fatigue Life Evaluation of High-Performance Steel using Modified Forman Model)

  • 응력확대계수비와 하중 주파수가 각각 'R=0.1, f=0.1 Hz', 'R=0.3, f=0.3 Hz' 및 'R=0.5, f=0.5 Hz'인 세가지 하중 조건에서 피로균열전파 실험을 하였으며 이를 바탕으로 고성능 강재의 피로균열전파거동 분석과 피로수명평가를 수행하였다. 하중 조건에 따른 피로균열전파거동을 모사하기 위해 수정된 Forman 모델을 제안하였으며 제안된 모델은 하한 응력확대계수폭과 균열 닫힘 현상에 의한 유효 응력확대계수폭을 고려함으로써 거동의 전 영역을 모사할 수 있었다. 응력확대계수비와 하중 주파수가 0.1 인 경우, 균열이 약 5.0 mm 전파될 때 피로수명을 평가한 결과, Forman 모델은 8,814 cycles, 수정된 모델은 12,292 cycles 의 계산결과를 얻었으며, 이를 12,774 cycles 의 실제 실험결과와 비교할 때 수정된 Forman 모델이 실제 피로균열전파거동을 보다 효과적으로 모사하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.
