Analysis of National Education Plan Implementation for Lifelong Education Promotion Basic Plan and Career Education Internalization Support Plan

  • This study examines the meaning of the national education plan promotion background, focusing on the 5th Lifelong Education Promotion Basic Plan (2023-2027) and the 3rd 2023 Career Education Internalization Support Plan (2023-2027). The purpose of this study is to present future directions for lifelong education and career education. The research results indicate that The 5th Lifelong Education Promotion Basic Plan (2023-2027) and the 3rd 2023 Career Education Internalization Support Plan (2023-2027) have both been established to cope with the future social and educational environment; thus, it is necessary to realize them. For this purpose, concrete policy alternatives have been prepared. In modern society, it is vital for the state to promote basic plans related to education, particularly for developing and improving the education system. In this respect, when suggesting the direction of lifelong and career education, first, policies for social development and strengthening competitiveness are important. Second, policies are needed that respond to changes in jobs and occupations. Third, lifelong and career education are essential to ensure social inclusion and fairness. Fourth, lifelong and career education are vital in nurturing human resources for sustainable development.

  • It has been found that implementing the function analysis is very important in terms of accomplishing successful Value Engineering(VE), and the function definition is a basic activity at design VE phase. In spite of the importance, the real function analysis activities in the VE are not regard as consequence. In this regard, this paper attempts to use the campus mater plan to lead an effective function analysis. So, the purpose of this value engineering study is to provide the criteria to develop the campus mater plan. This value engineering study used as a guide for the standardization of the campus mater plan. In addition, broader application is possible through the analysis throughout the different ways of the project.

Interior Therapy Cases Analysis of Youth Educational Facilities through Trust-Based Relational Intervention(TBRI) (TBRI를 통한 청소년 교육시설 인테리어 테라피 사례 연구)

  • During adolescence, youths may experience many unexpected changes due to sudden variances. At that time, youths were found to show rebellious or abnormal behaviors due to psychological wounds. These are often caused by psychological wounds oriented at home or at school, which may make some problems in adolescents' self-respect and attachment. In this study, we plan to conduct an analysis of the case of the interior therapy of educational facilities through TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) to discover how psychological therapy for youths is applied to an interior environment. The cases analysis are conducted based on the three principles of TBRI and the twenty seven detailed keywords within each principle. The research method is oriented on the research of literature focusing on TBRI-related external studies and domestic/external studies of interior therapy. The ranges of the case study are studied in six educational facilities retrieved and extracted from the website 'Archdaily' and from the 2019 Journal of the Korean Institute of Educational Facilities. The research article are concluded that TBRI's principles were applied to shape, finish material, color, lighting, furniture layout, plan layout, sculpture, and built-in-furniture by analyzing the interior therapy of educational facilities according to the elements of TBRI.

  • Sixteen provincial Research Institute of Education and Science(RISE) in the country have provided good qualified multimedia educational materials that was produced by some special skilled teachers to elementary, middle and high school teachers using web services. And moreover KERIS and KICE have also produced educational materials and have a plan to integrate distributed multimedia educational materials that RISE produced. The development of KERIS's KEM metadata in 2001 and the making of educational material metadata of RISE is the first step of integration plan. These metadata can be used to make integration plan possible. But before taking integration plan, the study of how to integrate and manage it should be performed. Therefore, this paper introduces the technique of XML web service and JDBC with 3-tier system as the method of integrate distributed educational material metadata. The evaluation shows these two methods have similar response time with MS SQL Server 2000 and Oracle 9i. Thus, we conclude that JDBC and XML web service can be the proper solution to search XML-formatted metadata.

Changes of Pre-service Teachers' Teaching Expertise through Lesson Plan Analysis

  • This study analyzed the change of teaching expertise of pre-service teachers through TPACK education. In this study, we applied a programming-based TPACK education program developed by Kim and Lee (2019) to 20 prospective teachers. To analyze the pre-service teachers' teaching expertise analyzed the lesson plan prepared before, during and after applying the educational program. As a result, Few teachers use technology in lesson plan, and the design of the instructor-led or experiment to confirmed content in curriculum or textbook. The use of technology has increased in the second Teaching Plan, but the technology was not used depending on the educational context. In the third lesson plan, all pre-service teachers were able to use technology in an educational context. Moreover, the teaching expertise of the pre-service teacher showed a statistically significant improvement in the lesson plan. This study founded that the programming-based TPACK education program was effective in enhancing the teaching expertise of the pre-service teacher.

  • According to the educational statistics and information data, there were 11,317 elementary school, middle school and high school facility as of 2011. During the post decade, 1,256 schools are increased. The school facility maintenance is the important factor for the whole facility life cycle because it determines the useful life of a facility. Current school facility maintenance practices tend to ad-hok kery, namely, repairment is made after a problem is discovered. The purpose of this study is to propose the new maintenance works and management system to improve the process of maintenance. In addition, the authors suggested school facility improvement plan based upon the questionnaire survey of related management officials.

These three independent yet interconnected learning axis were formed in order to achieve balance and harmony, realized in an integrated educational community. This model of education has become the foundation of our educational ideal at KORAIL's HRD Center.   • The purpose of this study is to analyze the Characteristic of Block Plans related to site types of Elementary Schools in Kangju city. With analysis of 17 elementary school plans, we reached same conclusions. First, there is a possibility of seeing 4 examples that contiguity road condition and proportion of site, neighborhood park location, district units planning, which as classification the condition to feature of location. But the condition which is considered actually from Block Plan appeared with only contiguity road condition and district units planning two onlines. Second, despite there are elements having the possibility effecting to Block Plan, some arrangement forms are repeatedly used. There is a possibility of searching for that cause that it falls in mannerism of space form, type and place when it follows the arrangement form of existing defined as school.

  • Majority of elementary school in Korea are built by standard plan in 1980s. Being deteriorated and uniform, they have lots of problems to meet the new education curriculum and generate environmental problems in terms of its performances. This research intends to review the conditions of classroom units related with the environmental issues and provide the directions of sustainable renovation to meet the updated curriculum focusing on daylighting and ventilation systems for the classroom built by standard plan in 1980s.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the plan formation for university dormitory's living unit by the modular unit of the pre-fabricated architecture, Pursuing this, this study conducts the investigation of present domestic situation of prefabricated construction and practices plan formation for living unit concentrating on the dweller's satisfaction by solving the problems which hitherto constructed dormitory had, especially collapse of dweller's territoriality. Consequently, this study presents the feasibility of modular unit of present prefabricated construction as a new method of dormitory's living unit construction, and suggests the pertinent plan formation for the improvement of the dweller's territoriality.
