  • This paper studies how the nature of educational programs run by public art museums in South Korea have been influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to what extent the pandemic has caused operational problems for these museums. It, in effect, unveils the new museum culture of the COVID-19 era. It finds that the number of educational programs at the eight museums in Korea selected for this study has decreased 34% since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of online educational programs, educational brochures and art kits at six of the museums has also increased by 70% compared to before the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, 'untact' programs thought up and created by artists have been gradually developing at certain art museums in South Korea, while VR/AR educational programs have been developing at museums in the Seoul Metropolitan Area. As such, this study reveals the changing characteristics of museum educational programs and the new museum educational culture in the COVID-19 era with the hope of opening up discussion about the future direction these programs will take.

For the analytical purpose of this article, OC type is categorized as Maintainable Culture(MC), Affiliation Culture(AC), Progressive Culture(PC) and Rational Culture(RC) based on Quinn(1985). The empirical results are as followings: Moderating effects are found in sex(with MC and RC), educational career(with MC, PC and RC), job switching(with MC and RC).

  • A number of practices for sharing knowledge has been recommended in the literature. These practices, however, are considered to be applicable, universally. This assumption is challenged by this paper which empirically explores the relationship between national culture and knowledge sharing practices in the context of procuring educational buildings in Saudi Arabia. The paper reports on a research study with the aim to identify whether national culture dimensions could be significant variables that impact upon staff preferences in relation to project knowledge sharing practices. The paper critically reviews the literature to identify appropriate measures for knowledge sharing practices. It explores the means by which public sectors professional exchange project knowledge; evaluates policies and level of technical support needed to facilitate knowledge sharing, then proceeds to how employees perceive the benefits they will gain by practicing project knowledge sharing, and their role in this process. The paper tests the relationships among the research constructs based on data collected from 115 project managers responsible for the procurement of educational buildings in Saudi Arabia. The paper provides empirical evidence that the national culture has a significant influence on staff preferences. In light of the research findings the paper concludes with practical recommendations for project knowledge sharing practices that are in line with staff preferences and their cultural orientation. The recommendations should facilitate a more effective application of knowledge sharing practices.

  • Filmff.V. is one of the most poweful media in the modern society. Its influnces on economics, culture, and social behavior are being extened more and more. By the growth of mutimedia market and existing film/T.V. market which are nurtured by the modern technology, filmff.V. culture became a giant influencial element. Filmff.V. culture in Korea did not settle down in right position, because of the uncontrolled implant and imitation of foreign film/T.V. culture under the short time of developing our own film/T.V. culture to support exploding technical aspects. A systematic filmff.V. education and financial investment are needed urgently to produce our own creative film/T.V. programs, and review on our filmff.V. culture and educational system are needed also to make a right understanding of filmff.V. media. In this proposal, I discuss the differences of educational system and curriculum between Korean filmff.V. educational institute and foreign countries'. Through this discussion, I sample a futuce oriented filmff.V. educational system and curriculum.
