The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of apartment residents' safety education satisfaction and the application of fire protection plans on fire safety awareness. The analysis results are as follows. First, the low levels of satisfaction with safety education content had a negative effect on anxiety about fire safety. This means that apartment residents' low levels of interest or participation in education affected their safety awareness, which prevented them from securing safety from fire. It is necessary for control staff to have a positive impact on their educational satisfaction via the learning support information system, among others, in order to create a satisfying education and safety culture. Second, competence in the execution of firefighting plans had a positive effect on fire safety awareness. These results indicate that apartment residents do not have the opportunity to access the education and training necessary for safety, nor the legal responsibility to complete mandatory safety education, which leads to their lack of safety awareness. Therefore, the control staff need to raise awareness of fire safety and the importance of participating in safety education among apartment residents by strengthening and activating the execution of firefighting plans in order to ensure safe living. Third, the competency of the firefighting plans moderated the effects of apartment residents' educational satisfaction on their awareness of fire safety.

Today, design is considered to have competitive power for a county, so there has been various efforts such as education, publicity and development, etc. Design has long been a national material, and Korea Institute of Design Promotion(KIDP) was inaugurated for the purpose of education, publicity, development and the management, public ownership, support of the contents. Laying stress on the results, however, the design education for children which would be the heart of a world design power is short of both investment and systematic study of education. Now that the design education for children is being active, the cultural spaces are needed to transform the current system focused on schooling and textbooks into the participating, experiential ones by the interesting, educational, and entertaining presentation. The children design exploratorium should make children have their own feelings, and present communicative methods considering children's cognition and behaviors. So, in this study, I'd like to analyze characteristics of the participating and experiential exhibition, and present a children design exploratorium as an alternative plan by the application of adequate methods to the exhibition medium, and the analysis of current exploratoriums' features case by case. The children design exploratorium is the place to maximize the educational effect of design by children's easier and exciting participation, which would offer an unique exhibition place for children to comprehend designs. In this study, on the basis of the alternative presentation of children design exploratoriums, I would refer to the future direction of the 21st century pavilions, the search for the exhibition items for active design education, and the contribution to practical plans.

The researchers developed On-line Lesson Planner System so that teachers can make a lesson plan using ICT(Information & Communication Technology) on line. Developed On-line Lesson Planner System can make ICT using lesson plans store in the database, manage them systematically and help maximize share, use and storage of the lesson plans. It can contribute to the school informatization. It is important to suggest solution through analyzing the educational effects and problems appeared during applying to this developed system in real fields. Thus, this study suggests first, procedure of designing the lesson plan using ICT for the development of this system, second. the summary of designing and embodying methods, and third, the improvement and analysis of the effects and problems revealed in elementary school fields. This study provided educational grounds of the solution to the problems and consideration of this On-line Lesson Planner system.

Global warming is happening now and inevitable. Everyone knows that immediate action should be taken to slow it down, but uncertain about the effective solution. Despite global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, sea levels are rising gradually. In 2013, Cornell University announced the Climate Action Plan(CAP) to make the campus greener, to reduce waste, and to ensure efficient use of resources. In particular, they set a goal of reducing energy use by 2050 and making carbon emissions to zero. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to analyse the case of the master plan of Cornell Tech campus and its major buildings. Mainly, The House, faculty and student housing of Cornell Tech and the world tallest certified passive house, will be the main precedent that shows the architectural planning of passive house. Passive house technology, which was thought to be possible only in single-family houses, can be applied to high-rise buildings. If any passive house technology of The House project is actively introduced into the dormitory projects of domestic universities that are about to be built or renovated, it will be a good opportunity for the university to take the lead in preparing for global warming.

With a view to dealing with various problems in our times, it is necessary to reinterpret and reconstruct the educational tradition with the spirit of wen-gu-zhi-xin(溫故知新), and plan and apply the educational program according to the developmental level of students of school grade. The purpose of this study is to develop and review the effectiveness of the wen-gu-zhi-xin program for enhancing community capacity as a virtuous citizen and reinforcing resilience of students in middle school. The order of discussion runs as follows. First, we discussed resilience and mental health which is a meaningful topic of character education. And then, we proposed developmental approach of wen-gu-zhi-xin program and verified its effectiveness.

The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics of physical planning elements in the pedestrian malls when cultural events for young ages proved; the planning strategies for the regeneration of the block of Kyungchun-railroad track, which is removing planned in campus surroundings. Local Government' initiation makes possible to make improvement and give administrative and financial support which is sensitive to the existing conditions of railroad for the better living environment. Thus, this research suggests how the block of Kyungchun-railroad track, which is removing planned, as a newly organized pedestrian mall design system can cope with collaborating a board and community, which has in campus surroundings related. This study consists of following four parts; 1. six-case pedestrian mall in campus surroundings in Seoul were analyzed in terms of physical and cultural factors for young ages between university and community. 2. we focused on the analysis of correlation between the physical planning factors and the spatial requirements for cultural event when the pedestrian mall in campus surroundings is designed. The paper's significance lies in that it shows a new direction in urban renewal planning and design which has been made into a pedestrian mall plan through in support of the application to the pilot project compared with previous physical environment.

Teaching competence is the best part of mathematics teachers's competence. It need to make instruction plan by oneself, systematic self-reflection and improvement in instruction performance for development of teaching competence of pre-service mathematics teacher. This study is to explore effective implementation strategies of elective-based curriculum in high schools, and to infer some implications for the improvement of school facilities. For the purpose, this study did three things. First, it tried to find the degree to which students are provided with the courses they want to take for the elective-based curriculum. Second, it explored effective implementation strategies of elective-based curriculum in high schools with the introduction of students' 'pre-application and lottery-allotted system' of high school admission. Third, it tried to infer the changed policy's implications for the improvement of school facilities. As a result of the study, three points are to be emphasized for the future plan and design of high school facilities. First, different school facilities are needed for each school because each school would implement different types of school curricula. Second, schools should be provided with different sized classrooms and different number of classrooms because three different types of students are assigned for each school as a result of new students' allocation policy. Third, new measures should be taken to provide students who are assigned to unwanted schools with opportunities to take courses outside their schools because students assigned by lottery system cannot have so much opportunity as students who are allocated to chosen schools.

The purpose of this study was to develop a MOOC design model that would improve the current practice of MOOC development in Korea by specifying easy-to-use course development procedures and guiding strategies. Following Richey and Klein (2007)'s conceptual model development procedure, the first step was to perform critical review of relevant literature and observe typical MOOC development processes. As a result, the initial model was developed. The second step was to conduct the expert review with five educational technology and MOOC researchers to secure the internal validity of the model. Based on the experts' suggestions, the model was revised and once again reviewed by the same experts. This process resulted in the development of the 2^nd version of model. The third step was to carry out external validation research in order to test the effectiveness, efficiency, and usability of the model. A basic model may be confirmed or corrected based on examination of its results. Consequently, the model was elaborated as the final model. In the final model, 6 procedural phases and 9 specific steps were included. The six procedural phases are: Analysis (1st Iteration), Design, Development (Course Development), Implementation, Evaluation, and Analysis (2nd Iteration), a slight variation of ADDIE model. The specific steps include: 1) Goal Setting, 2) Environment Analysis, 3) Content Design, 4) Style Design, 5) Course Development, 6) Implementation Plan, 7) Course Implementation, 8) Summative Evaluation, and 9) Need Reflection. The study concluded with suggestions for further research and application of the MOOC design model.
