In an attempt to illuminate the lives of elderly women, this article has studied the economical situation and economical well-being felt by the elderly women dwelling in the southwestern coastal islands of Korea. In this article, we have attempted to conduct a consolidated research that incorporates both qualitative as well as quantitative research methods. The researched areas included 6 islands. Here are the main results. : 1) The elderly women living in the islands were enduring various forms of excessive labor, and there were many cases where these women didn't receive adequate amount of compensation. There should be more considerations made by the locals and proper restrictions should be brought out in order to prevent these women from conducting excessive and hazardous tasks. 2) Due to unpropitious economical situations, the majority of the elderly women living in these islands were incapable of saving money. There should be a plan devised to empower the economical capabilities of these elderly women that will elicit economical effects. 3) The degree of economical well-being that these elderly women felt was very low, both in the absolute level of economical satisfactions, as well as the relative level of economical satisfactions compared to the people living in the cities. There should be an incorporated effort conducted by the elderly women themselves, the local society, and the relevant offices to increase the level of economical well-being that are felt by these elderly women.

The purpose of this study were to investigate the relationships of situation variables, product variables. consumer variables and impulse buying behavior in apparel store. We collected data from 462 consumers of adult women living in Pusan and analysed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, analysis of variance, t-test and discriminant analysis. The results were as follows: First, The purchase situation influenced on the impulse buying behavior consisted of the Pre-purchase condition and the Point-of-purchase state. The in-store situation consisted of the Salesman/store atmosphere, the Low price and the Possibility of out of stock. And the consumption values of apparel are divided into four factors ; Emotional/aesthetical value, Epistemic value, Functional value and Social value. The clothing shopping orientation as consumer variable extracted six factors ; Recreational orientation, Economical orientation, Brand/store loyalty orientation, Careful orientation, Apathetic orientation and Positive orientation. Consumers were classified by the cloting shopping orientation into the Convenience shopper, the Recreational shopper, the Economical shopper and the Careful shopper. Second, In comparison with the unimpulse-buyin groups, the impulse-buying group is more effected by in-store situation than purchase situation, and were more effected by Emotional/aesthetical value, Social value and Epistemic value of the consumption value. In consumer types, the more was the Recreational shopper and the Convenience shopper, the more showed impulse buying behavior. And the important factor distinguished between the impulse buying group and the unimpulse buying group was the Salesman/store atmosphere of the in-store situation.

In light of the growing traffic congestion problem and congestion cost, the container transport by railway has to be increased. The freight transport by railway can have decided advantages over trucks in terms of energy efficiency, emissions and cost for certain freight movements, just as transportation in the metropolitan region can have great advantages over driving truck. But the freight transport by truck should gain significant mobility benefits from a freight railway system. Thus, the DMT(Dual Mode Trailer) transport system which is coupled railway transport advantages with load transport advantages has been developed and used in the european countries. The DMT transport will therefore serve the areas required by transport organizers. The purpose of this paper is to estimate economical feasibility analysis for development of DMT transport system. Consequently, this study analyzed the characteristics of the DMT system. The horizontal load.unload system is being considered as an adoptable DMT system in consideration of the situation in Korea.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the effective alternative plan of the human resource training in the new reproduction energy industry, here in Gwang-Ju area. Nowadays, we, Korea is confronted with great changing moment to reform the developmental model in social situation & economical paradigms. Based on the aspect, the study showed that how suitable place to carry out the aims in Gwangju area ; first, the good equipped natural environment for activating is apt to build the new reproduction energy industry. And next, the good skilled human resource training is to get into the newly industry. According, the various policy of educating manpower for activating new reproduction energy industry need to be driven in short and long term.

The ultimate goal of inventory management is to decide the timing and the quantity of ordering in response to uncertain demands. Recently, some researchers have focused upon an impact of distortions in the information, e.g., customer order cancellation, on an economical inventory policy. The customer order cancellation is considered a kind of distortions in demands, because a demand that is eventually cancelled is equivalent to a phony demand. Also, there are some additional distortions in the inventory information. For instance, the procurement of suppliers may include some nonconforming items as a result of imperfect production and inspection by the suppliers, and/or damage in transit. The nonconforming item should be considered a kind of distortions in the inventory information, because the nonconforming item is equivalent to a phony stock. In this article, we consider an inventory model under the situation that customers can cancel their orders and the procurement of suppliers may include some nonconforming items. Then, we introduce the customer order reservation into the inventory model for the purpose of avoiding the costly backlogs, because the customer order reservation gives retailers a period to fulfill customer's requests. We formulate a periodic review (s, S) inventory model and investigate the economical operation under the situation mentioned above. Further, through the sensitivity analysis, we show the impact of these distortions and the effect of the customer order reservation on the inventory policy.

This paper investigated adult's consciousness with a view to establishing basic data about set-up any concrete plan and provision for elderly life in hoe and society. In this paper, the study of concerned reference and social survey by questionnaire are used. The data is obtained from 326 espondents who are 30 to 4 years old in Seoul and Andong. As to consciousness to the provision for elderly life and situation of set-up any concrete plan, the x2(chi-square) is applied to the analysis of regional, socio-economical, demographic difference. The conclusion of this study are as follows; 1) Although the respondents show positive attitude toward consciousness to the provision for elderly. life, their behavior does not show any sing of translating it into reality. 2) The consciousness to the provision for elderly life varies according to regional, socio-economical, demographic variance. Those who are in their 30's more-educated, and high-income want to be more independent from their children and express strong desire to set-up provision for elderly life in advance. This is also true of those living in city. As a results, as adults(30-54) recognize the importance of provision for elderly life, so the support by the society or governmental policy for the solution of better-life for old people is important. however, mental , physical, economical preparation in family life according to the family life cycle can basic solution.

With international urgence of terror situation, many methods of terror techniques and skills are appearing and more intense and threatening terror is braking out not only in the air(plane), but also in the sea(ship). Korea is surrounded by 3 sides of sea and is a proud maritime nation that should advance to foreign country through the sea because South Korea and North Korea are confronting. Korea depend on the maritime transportation, 99.7% of exporting, importing material resources. Therefore, acquisition of the marine safety has the great affect on national security and economical life. On the high tension of situation about threat and possibility of maritime terroism, the potential ways of the improvement policy for counter-tactics against big maritime terror are the following. First, we should construct clear and well-organized network for accurate information about maritime terrorism Second, we should have the information of all domestic, foreign passenger's ships Third, national important facilities such as atomic energy plant, thermo-electric power plant, shipyard need policies to manage all emergency situation Fourth, government authorities should improve tactic abilitities by competing with support and budget inside of nation as well as outside of nation. To develop big maritime terror of our country, we will have to hold cooperative training & tactics contest of big maritime terror by cooperating educational industry organization with similar institute, improve the ability of members of big terror and acquire tactics information by excavating and exchanging a new technique through tactics seminar and public hearing.

The present carbon-based energy system will not last long due to its environmental and economical drawbacks. Hydrogen energy attracts more attention recently and seems to have large ripple effect on economy providing its technical, environmental and economical problems are solved. This paper analyses the situation changed from fossil to non-fossil energy system and the R&D policies of advanced countries by reviewing the world energy status and the energy policy of foreign countries. Finally, the R&D strategy of hydrogen energy technology was developed through analyzing the present states of energy research policy and programs of major countries.

The recent summer power peak crisis has been caused by excessive use of cooling loads at daily peak time in summer. The yearly load shape of KEPCO has gradually became very steep valley. Under this situation, more efficient DSM(Demand Side Management) tools are fully required for summer peak clipping and shaving. In this paper, the KEPCO's Jeju-Do model project for DSM, especially for Demand Controller, is presented. Demand Controller was evaluated to have the very high economical efficiency against the investment in equipment, as compared with another DSM tools. There were some serious problem to apply Demand Controller to many customers in the aspect to synchronization with KEPCO's watthour meter. But these problems have solved by Keyin's new Demand Controller using vision algorithm.
