전쟁영화에서 초록의 색채표현과 파토스 (Pathos of Color Green Expressed in Korean War Films)

  • War films are a general term for films that have battlefields as their main background. Although war films as a genre directly deal with combat situations, they also deal with characters or subjects related to war. War films promote patriotism and nationalism, but they also argue against war by highlighting the disastrous war. This study is based on the color theory that the meaning of film color is temporarily and infinitely generated according to the cultural differences, with Eisenstein's creative theory on film color and pathos. I wanted to clarify the pathos effect and the meaning of color green expressed in the Korean war films. In war films, colors are visualized in art forms such as symbols, similes and metaphors. In war films, color green symbolizes life. On the battlefield, the green of nature stands against the catastrophic situation. The green of ecology, which insists on the flow of life, evokes fear in ecological crises such as war, disaster and climate change. The dark green caused by a catastrophe like war warns of the destruction of life. The connotation of color is temporarily and infinitely expands according to the cultural differences. The dark green, which visualizes the battlefield of destruction, is a form and element of pathos that indicates changes in emotions such as sadness, pity, grief and despair. Pathos as an emotional appeal is a leap from the quality to the quality of the means of expression and refers to the departure from Dasein. The green color that dominates the visuals of war films is a symbol of life and functions as a pathos that makes emotional changes take a new leap. A qualitative leap through pathos means all changes that become new.

  • 이 연구는 지속 가능한 포장 디자인의 중요성, 정의, 핵심 전략 및 향후 방향을 요약합니다. 현대 사회에서 지속 가능한 포장 디자인은 환경 보호와 자원 절약에 중점을 둘 뿐만 아니라 경제, 사회 및 문화의 지속 가능한 발전을 포함합니다. 이 연구에서는 환경 친화적인 재료의 사용, 포장 디자인의 최적화, 포장의 재활용성 및 재사용성을 향상 시켜 환경 부담을 줄이고 생태 균형을 촉진하기 위한 전략에 대해 자세히 설명합니다. 또한 이 연구는 단순화된 디자인 개념과 모듈식 시스템의 채택, 패키징의 다기능성 증가와 같은 디자인 혁신의 중요성을 강조합니다.또한 설계에서 폐기까지의 모든 단계가 환경에 미치는 영향을 최소화하기 위해 포장 설계에 수명 주기 평가를 적용하는 것에 대해 논의합니다. 마지막으로 지속 가능한 포장 디자인의 환경 및 사회적 이점에도 불구하고 실제로는 여전히 기술, 경제 및 규제의 도전에 직면해 있습니다.미래 디자인은 지속 가능한 포장의 광범위한 채택과 관행을 촉진하기 위해 학제 간 협력, 첨단 기술의 통합, 소비자 교육 및 참여, 강화된 정책 및 표준 제정이 필요합니다.

한국 의류학 연구의 현황과 재조명 : $1959\~1990$ (Changing Focus and Development of Korean Clothing and Textiles: 1959-1990)

  • Clothing and Textiles was introduced in the 1950s to Korea and has been developed. At this moment, it seems to be valuable to identify state of art of researches in clothing and textiles field. The purpose of the study was to investigate trends of subject-matter emphasis in clothing and textiles. The data were included clothing and textiles related research articles published in three professional journals from 1959 through 1990 and condensed at 5 year intervals. The identified 620 articles with clothing and textiles subject-matter emphasis were categorized in six areas: clothing construction, textiles, history of costume, design and aesthetics, socio-psychological aspect of clothing, and fashion merchandising. The results were as follows: 1. Since 1959, there has been a significant growth in terms of the number of research as well as in quality of research particulary considering the short history of the field. 2. The number of each area research was ranked as follows: 1) textiles (217) 2) history of costume (173) 3) socio-psychological aspect of clothing (88) 4) clothing construction (79) 5) fashion merchandising (34) 6) design and aesthetics (22) and others (7) 3. In the area of textiles, the most dominant area was clothing management (102 out of 217) and clothing hygenics research was getting increased from the late of 1980 through Journal of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles. 4. In the area of history of costume, most of the research have been published through Journal of Korean Costume Society. History of korean costume was the most dominant area (120 out of 173) and history of eastern costume area was getting increased from the late of 1980s. 5. In the area of socio-psychological clothing, the research was accelated in the beginning of 1980s through Journal of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles, while the research was decreased a· little in the late of 1980s. 6. In the area of clothing construction, it was revealed its decrease the percentage of total number of research and most of them were published through Journal of Korean Home Economics. 7. In the area of fashion merchandising, there has been continuous increase in the number of research from the late of 1970s to 1990, present. For the future direction, implications for interdisciplinary and ecological approach were suggested.

광양항 동측배후단지 2단계 사업지구 상징공원 및 수변공원 설계 (A Design for the Symbol Park and the Waterfront Park for the Second Stage Development in the Eastern Rear Complex of Gwangyang Harbor)

  • The eastern rear business complex of the Gwangyang Harbor (second stage) has undergone the 'alternative bid' process by which a construction company is selected based on their suggestions for an alternative plan and the bid for the construction expenses is based on the previously completed original plan, thereby implicitly accepting the arrangement and scale of the park which was presented in the original plan. It is possible, however, that the concept and plan of each park needs to be approached in a new way within the extent of given design guidelines. This study focuses on the alternative plan process and the Symbol Park (the second neighborhood park) and Waterfront Park (the third neighborhood park) among the five neighborhood parks in the eastern rear business complex (second stage). These two parks provide scale and function for the structure of the park and greenways system at the eastern rear complex. The neighboring waterway is a significant resource for emphasizing the pre-development features of the site. The alternative plan process focuses on determining the resources for the park's plan based on the environmental analyses of the site and utilizing the results. That is, through an analysis of the current state, all available resources are determined and the facilities and activities are derived based on these results. By this, Symbol Park and Waterfront Park reflect the regional features of the eastern rear complex, and these parks will feasibly perform the role of the region's key parte. The limit of this study is the fact that there is no chance for landscape architecture to actively play a role in the creation of the master plan, land utilization plan, and plan for the complex. Therefore there is a problem that the function scale and location of the park are not distributed appropriately in the rear complex. Also the plan for protecting the waterway's shore, a significant resource, only considers the structural stability of the engineering works, degrading the visual and ecological quality. These experiences will be used as a case for further designing the industrial complex and for the resulting park plan.

영화예술에 나타난 의상이 유행에 미친영향 - Edith Head의 영화 의상을 중심으로 - (The Effects of Cinema Costumes on Fashion -Based onEdith Head's Work-)

  • Cinema costume can stimulate the public to synchronize with and replicate what they see in the movies. Especially when the public thinks the stars in the movies . Especially when the public thinks the stars in the movies are beautiful or dramatic the styles of cinema costumes powerfully affect them. Thus cinema costume designers quickey become fashion designers. Edith Head who strongly believed cinema costumes to be an effective means of portraying the Character's personality and psychological make-up was an innovative designer whose costumes manifested this belief. She enhanced the character's individual image and distinction for the public through her artistic design in costumes. She adapted a realistic approach but her costumes invariably produced aesthetic ef-fects. Since the Academy Awards added the category of costume design she led the field with 35 nominations and eight oscars during 33 years of her productive work. Edith head was a dominant figure in costume design; her creations were highly renowned as an art form while they gained popularity. The purpose of this study was to reveal the ef-fects of Edith Head's cinema costume designs on fashion. This study was also to emphasize the powerful influence on ashion of cinema costume and cinema costume designers in general. The study was done through literature movies for which she created costumes fashion magazines and Edith Head's original sketches. The influence of Edith Head's costume de-sign on fashion is as follows: 1. She introduced and lead the casual fashion in the 1950's combining simplicity and sophistication. 2. She altered uniforms and reconstructed public clothing for multiple functions. 3. She rearranged high school prom dresses through the movie 'A Place in the Sun" to en-hance characteristic of each gender and the Dandy Look of the 1930's into men's apparel in the 1970's through the movie "The Sting" 4. She expanded the traditional style in the 1940's and became a leader in ecological style. 5. She adapted glitter from astronaut's ap-parel into public clothing. 6. She resturctured Sabrina Pants in the 1960's to accentuate the individuals strength by overcoming one's weakness without minimi-zing it's aesthetic appeal and reintroduced the pants in the 1990's. 7. She introduced elegant negligees to gen-eral public and maintained it in the public do-main. As it is revealed Edith Head's costume de-sign not only impacted the field of fashion dur-ing her time but also is presently influencing modern fashion throughout the world as it is witnessed by repeated reintroduction of her fashion styles. Reviewing her cinema costumes it is concluded that cinema costumes it is concluded that cinema costumes powerfully af-fect the public through a visual channel more than any other routes. Cinema costumes can become the origin of fashion by stimulating the public to synchronize with and replicate what they see in the movies. Since cinema costumes can launch fashion trend it requires further research. Based on what is revealed in this study. it would be beneficial to examine how cinema costumes affect people socially and culturally and how they could provide resources for re-search in fashion trends. It is also the writers opinion that there should be more designers such as Edith head who could lead the field of costume design into the twenty-first century.

영역자산의 장소판촉과 향토축제의 유형 -경북지방을 사례로- (Place Marketing of Territorial Assets and Regional Festival : The case of Kyungbuk Province, Korea)

  • 향토축제 본래의 의미는 지역경제의 활성화에 있지 않다. 그러나 오늘날 축제는 지역경제 활성화를 위한 장소판촉의 중요한 수단이 되고 있으며, 그러한 목적에서의 향토축제가 급속히 늘고 있다. 이 연구는 경북지방을 사례로 이같은 배경 하에서의 향토축제 전개과정과 그 유형 및 활용되는 영역자산의 특성을 고찰하였다. 경북지방의 향토축제는 지방자치제의 실시와 더불어 1996년부터 급증하기 시작하였으며 1995년까지 불과 14개에서 2006년 현재 그 수가 66개에 이른다. 전통민속형, 문화예술형, 산업 특산물형, 관광 이벤트형의 다양한 축제들이 존재하지만 1990년대 후반 이후 등장한 축제는 모두 산업 특산물형, 관광 이벤트형으로 그 비율이 전체 축제의 2/3에 달한다. 이 과정에서 경북지방 향토축제가 안고 있는 가장 큰 문제는 축제 상호간의 동질화 현상이다. 전체의 80%에 가까운 축제가 4$\sim$5월, 7$\sim$8월, 9$\sim$10월에 집중적으로 개최되며 5월과 10월에 개최되는 비율만 40%를 넘는다. 소재로 활용되는 영역자산 역시 66개 향토축제 중 27개가 유사하다. 이러한 중복 성향은 자연생태자산과 지역특산물에서 특히 강하다. 이같은 동질화의 문제를 극복하기 위해서는 장소판촉전략을 문화자산을 중심으로 재편하는 것이 요구된다.

VMD 방안으로서 패션 일러스트레이션 활용에 관한 연구 - POP 광고를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Application or Fashion Illustration for the VMD Plan - Focusing on POP Advertisement -)

  • These days fashion market is overflown with many brands and their identities are not so clear that the advertisement emphasizing the characteristics of the products don't seem to be adequate in appealing the customers. Therefore it is required that the sensible image advertisement which appeals to the customers by stimulating their feeling and sensitivity to attract customer's interest. At that point, VMD especially of POP advertisement that can be attract direct purchasing plays an important part to build up the accurate image of brand to consumers. Even thought today's individualized consumers take much interested in the fresh and original expressions, the visual expressions of fashion advertisements still focus on using photographs. The most advertisement of photograph has a limit that it shows only an immediate fraction, so it can't present whole image It can deliver more- imaginations and message than photograph if fashion illustration is used in advertisement. Therefore the purpose of this study was to present the application of fashion illustration for the POP advertisement Twelve pieces of fashion illustrations were produced and classified three parts according to their images and expression techniques. Paper sculpture techniques were applied for fashion image expression, for paper is easily meet daily life and ecological materials. For study procedure and contents, the concept and useful functions of fashion illustration and the concept of paper sculpture were examined as a theoretical background, and various uses and techniques of paper sculpture by analysing a number of paper sculpture art works were also studied. Also the concept, roles and functions of POP advertisement were discussed, and then the examples that the fashion illustration applied in the advertisement were analyzed through case study. The theme of my works was jean fashion brand whose brand image is significant, Twelve pieces of fashion illustrations using paper sculpture techniques were produced and various kinds of paper were used in expressing the paper sculpture technique. Each works were cut out the forms and used a pertinent light for making cubic effect shadow when displayed them. In my works Ⅰand Ⅱ, Ⅰ illustrated jeans in two images of sexy and casual, these were created slightly bigger than actual body size in order to attract consumer's gaze at show window or store. In my works Ⅲ, Ⅰ illustrated part or model of a jean product so that it could be used as addition to main display.

근린공간으로서 도심지 쌈지공원의 이용행태와 장소애착에 관한 연구 - 수도권 지역의 한평공원 및 한뼘공원을 중심으로 - (A Study on Usage Behaviors and Place Attachment of Urban SSamji Park as a Neighborhood Space - Focused on Hanpyeong Park and Hanpyeom Park located in Capital Area-)

  • 근린의 개념은 근현대사를 거치며 우리사회에 지역사회를 조성하기 위한 원리로 활용되어 왔으며, 물리적 시설을 중심으로 하는 근린의 개념은 역할과 의의에 관해 꾸준히 논의 되어왔다. 본 연구에서 주목하는 쌈지공원은 근린시설로서 재생을 통한 환경의 개선과 이를 통한 지역 공동체의 확보에 역할을 하였으며, 수도권지역에 조성된 한평공원 및 한뼘공원 총 72개의 답사 조사를 통해 계획적 의의와 함께 설문조사를 통해 쌈지공원 주변 거주민과 이용자의 이용성 및 장소애착을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 도출한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이용자의 인구통계학적 특성에 따라 집단별로 공원에 대한 장소애착에 유의한 차이가 존재하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 오늘날 공급되는 주거의 주된 유형의 차이가 생태적 공간을 경험하고자 하는 차이에 영향을 미치는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 교육수준에 따라 집단별로 공원에 대한 장소애착의 유의한 차이를 확인할 수 있다. 셋째, 이용자의 이용행태에 따라 집단별로 공원에 대한 장소애착에 차이가 존재하며 이는 이용회수, 체류시간 등에 따른 구체적 차이를 확인할 수 있다.

산대(山臺)를 통해 본 석가산 조영 문화 (An Implications of the Korea's Traditional Seokgasan through the Studying Traditional Sandae)

  • 본 연구는 고려시대부터 조선 후기까지 궁궐 왕의 행차, 나례, 사신영접, 연회 등의 목적으로 조설되었던 전통공연예술분야의 무대장치인 산대(山臺)의 유형, 구조적 형상, 표상의 원리를 고찰하여 동시대 석가산(石假山) 조영 문화의 확장성을 제시하고자 하였으며, 그 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 산대의 발달사와 그 의미를 통해 외부공간에 '산'의 형상을 실체화하고자 한 석가산의 조영 문화와의 동질성을 갖고 있다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 산대를 만드는 행위 자체는 명산을 숭배하는 전통과 관련이 깊다. 이는 고려 예종 '청연각' 앞뜰에 조성된 석가산에서 중국의 명산명호(名山名湖)가 표상적으로 비유되어 모사(摹寫)된 사실과도 일치한다. 둘째, 산대와 석가산은 그 구조적 형상과 재료, 기술적 제작방식은 달랐으나 산의 형상을 조형하여 완상하거나 국가행사의 무대배경으로 활용되며, 다양한 유형으로 나타나고 있었다. 산을 모사한 산대의 형상과 상징적 의미는 요산요수(樂山樂水)로 대표되는 당대의 정원 및 예술적 관심사가 산수의 다양한 조형적 표현으로 귀결되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 신재효의 고택의 정원 중앙에 위치했던 것으로 추정되는 연(蓮)이 심겨진 방지와 이에 인접한 수각과 석가산은 정원을 수식하는 요소일 뿐 아니라 신재효의 문하생의 수련 및 공연무대의 배경으로 기능을 수행했을 것으로 추정된다.

치유공간에 적용한 흙건축 인테리어 -한의원인테리어의 바이오필릭(Biophilic)디자인개념을 중심으로- (Earth Construction Interior Applied to Healing Space : Focused on Biophilic Design Concept of Oriental Medical Clinic Interior)

  • 흙은 그 자체로 자연치유력을 가진 동시에 친환경적이며, 정서적, 심리적인 안정감을 주는 천연 재료이다. 이 논문에서는 치유공간으로서의 기능을 확대하기 위한 방안의 하나로 한의원인테리어의 건축에 흙의 효과성을 적극적으로 활용한 설계와 시공방식을 구체화하였다. 특히 바이오필릭(Biopillic) 디자인 개념을 치유환경 디자인으로 활용하여 자연을 상징하는 색채, 빛, 식물, 꽃, 자연재료인 흙, 목재 등을 치유공간인 한의원인테리어로 연출하였다. 이 가운데 환자들의 동선에 따른 공간을 구획하고 공간별 특성에 따른 흙건축 공법을 적용하였다. 이때 흙은 첨가재를 넣지 않은 친환경 건축자재 인증등급 HB(Healthy Building)의 최우수 등급에 준하는 재료와 마감재인 흙으로 시공하여 인테리어와 치료개념을 동시에 연출가능 하도록 하였다. 본 연구결과는 향후 치유공간을 구성하는 데 바이오필릭((Biophilic) 디자인을 활용한 치유공간요소의 대입으로 시공의 설계와 흙건축 공법의 활용에 필요한 토대로 작용할 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 미래지향적 대안으로 건축디자인에 흙의 활용 영역을 확장시킬 수 계기가 될 수 있을 것이다.
